Friendly with a good range of well kept local ales at very reasonable prices. Seemed to be popular with all ages - older people as well as a man with his children having a break from shopping. Landlady welcoming without being over effusive - perfect.

Nice pub I've only just discovered in huntingdon. The largest selection of beers and ales I've seen outside of spoons and very reasonable prices. They also have screens for sport. Can't ask for much more really.

Salt O' the Earth pub, with an engaging client base who made me feel right at home, before dissapearing into the EPIC pub garden (For a town centre) out back for a read of the book.

I love this pub. When I went in there this evening, they had broadside at £2 and pot belly best at £2.20. nine real ales on in total and friendly staff. A nice fire you could sit near to keep warm too. I live in Peterborough and go to Huntingdon especially for this pub. Also dog friendly.

I am torn on the Falcon: it's friendly earlier in the evening but as the evening progresses, people get grumpy & as the crowd increases, the service is poor. Plus, many have to smoke, vape & smoke. Some of the people who get drunk aren't nice. Maybe the places is just filled with the spirits of dead drunks instead of just alcohol.

Sticky, and definitely 'only locals'. Woman serving behind the bar coughed into a beer as she poured it. Dingy and food was not being served during advertised hours.

The Falcon is a fab place to visit. I have always Enjoyed my nights out when I am there. The Bar Staff are more friends than Staff.

Wonderful pub, looks tiny from the outside but it's like a tardis. Huge garden too, fantastic selection of real ales, and really friendly bar staff. Couldn't ask for anything more, but there is more, its an absolutely beautiful old building with loads of history. I will definitely go there again.

Day trip to Huntingdon and popped in on spec. Great pub with a fantastic range of beers and really well priced too. Landlady really knows her stuff! So glad we came across this place. Definitely recommend.

Lovely old building with some history to it. That Cromwell chap got everywhere apparently. Nice old fashioned pub, mostly Marstons beer, bit of a dump with a sour faced landlady. The Hobgoblin gold was pretty good. Wouldnt rush back.

On visiting Huntington we went to the Falcon for afternoon drinks .. we went last year and enjoyed our afternoon so thought we would do it all again . It was found to be Strict covid Which was good , put our mind at rest . The atmosphere was very friendly, chatting with the locals was very pleasant. I noticed it had been updated , painted and decorated and it looked lovely .. Shall definitely return .

Choice of beers massively improved recently. Broadside, Potbelly Crazy Daze and beers from the excellent Purple Moose Brewery all available at sensible prices. Keep it up. 1 neg point please change the 1974 lamp shades over the bar.

Great ale. Not sure the bartender was a regular there but he was polite and friendly enough. Plenty of ales to choose from just odd that the music was so sporadic. Worth popping in for a nice pint!

If ales is your thing then this place is the place to come and drink yourself in to an ale inspired stupor :) Also, now they no longer have any connection to the worst butchers in town (and haven't for a few years so probably time to stop grinding that axe :)) its safe to drink here again :) But yes, really nice range of ales in a pretty cool old restored building.

No hot water no paper towels or working hand blower very very poor condition of Toilet areas And the doors and handle into facility are caked in heavy soil muck.... must say decent bar hard working staff and good prices. But will stay away till matter resolved

This is the second time I have visited this place and the decor is interesting, and the clientele are a bit rough and ready, the venue could do with a bit of TLC, but I cant knock the alcohol selection.

Rich in history ,Over Cromwells recruiting place for the Roundheads Army in the Civil War . Check Out the building - hundreds of years old. When I was the Mayor of Huntingdon in 2003 and 2006 Our Town Council promoted the re- opening of this pub as well as getting the Historic Town Hall located next door back into public use.

Always have a great selection of ales!

Stumbled on this little jewel whilst visiting Huntingdon. Through a colourful arch way you find an old fashioned, friendly traditional tavern. The food is amazing. Well cooked, brilliant portions, served by super friendly staff and so cheap. The range of beers is fantastic some cask ales are under £3 a pint. Good music and well worth a visit.

was so sad when it closed..and so happy when it re-opened...it kept its rustic charm and looks..the ales and ciders on sale are amazing and of high quality..the selection of loose leaf tea is fabulous too..if your looking for a nice cuppa or a lazy sunny afternoon drink then you should look no further than here..the staff are great and friendly and can help with any questions 5have regarding the best drinks for you to try..they aell food on site which is very reasonable in price..a hidden gem in the heart of huntingdon

I went in past couple of days to have good service by the members of staff other than guy called Simon working rude pissed out of his head I feel he rude customer and staff and this not what I want as he has over charge me on spirrt as I have got told it was dobble up for 99 p other staff members and he did not charge me this I mentioned to him and he augered with me and did not make me feel welcome. I want to thank the staff that made me feel welcome

Whenever I'm in Huntingdon this pub is always my first and only port of call. I believe there's some history to this place and on offer there is a fine collection of real ales,possibly 10+ and reasonably priced and mostly local. Outside there is a drinking area along the alleyway. The only negative I could say was some grumpy ,old men who swear a bit too often which maybe a bit off-putting for the ladies.

First time in Huntingdon and looking for somewhere for lunch and found the Falcon, it really is an Olde Worlde pub and the range of real ales on offer is very impressive, I chose a baguette and fries for lunch and both were excellently prepared and excellent value for money, there is a good menu and the service was friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went in over two nights good ales and ciders some 14 different beers when I was there...was interested cos I was a CAMRA member ... First night landlord working nice atmosphere good service great night !second night no landlord just a bar hand all locals on second night served before visitors twice it happen to me and what bunch of thoothless gibbons making as much noise as thay could with the "this is our pub attetude" funny and sad really sutch a stain on what could be a fantastic place.... Won't visit again when down next month
