Lovely lunch very helpful, friendly staff.

Food at best ok. Service on a Sunday lunch abysmal. Young waiters and waitresses could not cope with the numbers. Main course arrived in good time but then 45 minute wait for table to be cleared and dessert order taken. This was only because I had to go and ask for this. The wait for the dessert got to 30 minutes and needed us to go and ask again. The order for dessert was obviously not passed to the kitchen. We then had another long wait for the bill and required us chasing it again. Will not be visiting again. Avoid Sunday lunchtime! Reply to owner: Yes, of course I've been late but I'm not a service industry charging for the service. You were clearly understaffed and couldn't cope with the amount of bookings you had accepted. I'm sorry you don't like this critique but I am only reviewing what I experienced.

Lovely pub, sadly no baby changing facilities despite there being room to fit a wall mounted folding table in the ladies. May impact us returning sadly.

Another great evening at this venue. Up from Somerset visiting family and never disappointed. Great menu, great food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I'd recommend this pub to everyone. Thank you

Great pub, welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Menu was great food was fantastic. Been for my second visit and I must say their Sunday roast is to die for.

Had a very nice dinner today. Lamb Roasties and veg. For desert Bakewell pie ice cream. Good service Dined with Gordon and Shirley.

Default back to this pub when in the area and never got disappointed. The food is great and the chef is often seen looking at people enjoying his work. For me a sign of care. Portion are generous and priced well. Staff rotates is young and friendly. Landlord is polite and welcoming. Overall I really enjoy every aspect of this pub so highly recommend it.

Attended a wedding reception at the White Hart. Was the highlight of the day. Great drinks, lovely and efficient service, and amazing food.

Underwhelming. Food was tasteless. Took over half an hour for food to arrive.

Food was nice but we waited over an hour for food with no communication throughout as to why.

Cracking olde worlde foody pub. Really lovely staff. Perfect lunch stop between Newcastle and the Channel tunnel.

WOW - If you like a REALLY good Pizza then you have to go here on a Thursday evening. Absolutely awesome pizzas, the best I’ve had in as long as I can remember! Staff were friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Happened to stop here on our way to a wedding down south from Chesterfield. Food was excellent - chicken gyros and White Hart burger were fab. Lovely lad behind the bar and lovely chatty locals. Be warned they only serve lunch for a limited time - we were lucky to order 10 minutes before the kitchen closed until dinner.

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was AMAZING! So very, very tasty with lots of vegetables. Wished we lived a lot closer, this pub is definitely on our Top ten list for Best Sunday Lunch - right at the top.

Nice ambience, very friendly staff and comfortable seating, but Sunday roast was not good. Every way I tried to cut it, it was all veins. The meat did not smell good. Everything had no flavor.

Amazing roast dinner, good quality and I loved how it comes out on a platter. Staff are great. Toilets were relatively clean so was pub itself. Drinks are perfect temperature but the pub was very cold when we arrived.

Lovely Sunday roast didn't have to wait long and the portion size was generous. Just a shame there was only ice cream or sorbet for those with gluten intolerance. Would eat there again and recommend to others.

Fantastic food especially Sunday Lunch. On very reliable Bus Route AW1 (runs 7 days a week, see Dews Coaches for timetable) from Huntingdon via Stukeleys and Alconburys so no need to drive! Stops outside the Pub!

First visit for a friends birthday and it definitely won't be the last. The service was amazing and the food was beautifully cooked . Would highly recommend.

Come here when we can for Sunday lunch especially when enjoying one of several local walks here. Love there is a decent vegan Sunday roast option which comes with a vast selection of well cooked veggies, impressed. The draft is from HUK's premium range like Amstel, Cruz and Neck Oil while a tad drab these days are all vegan friendly too unlike lots of others (say Madri etc). Nice fire on but a little cold where we sat. But will happily keep returning

Without doubt the greatest pub roast I've ever eaten and amazing value for money.

Yesterday our family had a dinner here, thank you, it was lovely food and service. It was our first English traditional food and the best experience.

The service was slow to begin with - maybe because it was the beginning of the evening. The food was good, I had the cod which was delicious.

Booked for christmas dinner. Table wasnt ready on arrival though pre booked. Service was great once it got going. Very expensive compared to other places. Place looked a bit run down. Service charge added another 78.00 on bill. Food was nice though.

This was our second time at Tudors and whilst the food was a good as ever, the service was quite slow. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food, and there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, who had already been served before we arrived, so not sure why the food took so long to prepare. Nevertheless, the waiter was polite and the food portions were very generous.

Highly recommend this restaurant . The service was excellent and professional. The food exceeded our expectations. Really good sized portions and 6 of us had the Xmas menu. Some 2 course and some 3 courses ? The glass of Prosecco at £5 with the menu was really nice and food value . I asked for Xmas music and the man who took our order was very obliging ! Then it was a bit loud so again I requested it to be turned down and he again organised that . Another lady server who helped with l serving the food ( looked like a manager ) was very nice and we had a lovely evening . Roast potatoes wet hot and crispy . Fyom starters to dessert . Food was excellent ! This place should be booked out !! Will definitely be returning soon ! Thankyou to all The staff who Served us !!! Smiling and friendly!

This was our first time dining at Tudors, even though we've lived in St Albans all our lives. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, and portions were very generous. The Sunday roast beef lunch was delicious and my only criticism was I didn't leave any room for dessert! The staff were warm and friendly, and very helpful and attentive, but not to the point of being annoying. We were sat near the fire, which added a cosy ambience. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again soon.

Went for Sunday Lunch, and was not disappointed, plenty of veggies and meat was cooked perfectly. Didn't have dessert as was too full! Great little pub, although parking can be a little tricky as not a massive amount of room in car park.

Quite liked the restaurant. It’s a pub inspired in Texas ambiance. Loved the attentive service of one of the waiters, the gentleman prepared a delicious piña colada mocktail.

We arrived early so sat in the bar area to have a drink,lovely atmosphere in the very old traditional building. The staff are very friendly and polite. We were shown to our table and left to browse the menu, there was no rush which made for a relaxing evening The food is to a high standard. We will be returning to tudors and I highly recommend going

Look, it's just what it says on the tin a pub. However, big roaring wood burner to welcome you. It's excellent draft beers 🍻 complimented with great food. With very friendly staff, what more could you ask for.

The food was very good - I had whitebait and blade of beef. Our waitress was great. Restaurant was relatively quiet but overall it was a good meal and good value.

Stopped on the way to London. Great place just off the A1. Not too busy for a Saturday lunch time. Food was excellent (good pub grub). Service was smooth and with a smile.

I've only called I'n for a beer after work but it has been nicely tidied up inside and out over the last couple of years. Inside, tables are elegant enough to have a meal at but also comfortable for a beer and chat. There's a smart patio at the rear with a small grassed lawn area. Nice selection of reasonably priced beers. Oh .. and friendly staff! Can't fault it.

Had a really great Sunday lunch on Father's Day. All the food was delicious. Staff were great with us. I was exceptionally happy with the effort the team put in to ensure my wife (with gluten and dairy allergies) could have a stress free meal. They nailed it!

Came here for my birthday and had such a great experience! The steaks we had were perfectly good and really tasty and the rest of the food was great too. The service was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better :).

I booked this place as I was told it served chicken schnitzel. Sadly it is no longer on the menu. My ginger parkin was not very gingery but pleasant enough. The Baileys cheesecake was not very Baileys flavoured but again pleasant enough. Service was good and would recommend this place . Just needs a few tweaks to make it really good
