The best restaurants serving British food in Cambridge East of England

Unfortunately, the pub is under new management. In almost empty pub on Friday night, I waited 35+ minutes for fish and chips, and had to remind them 2 times about it.

This is an amazing pub that could easily be overlooked, but you do yo would have missed a real gem. The beer is good quality with a great range and using local breweries. There is also a good range of ciders and wines. The food is quality based on Italian themes, the pizzas are varied and have flavors which defines the pizza it's not bland it's not all the same. They are freshly made in site to order.

Friendly service and such fresh, super hot, tasty, crispy cod and chips. Halloumi fries and tuna burger also excellent. Excellent local restaurant/take away.

Great service Fantastic value Very friendly staff - not particularly smiley but nice people. Only slight negativity you can end up staring into space when waiting to be seated or served - no big deal really. Gets quite busy but gave the place a nice buzz. Some customers clearly working from their tables after finishing as not eating or drinking for a while - again no big deal. Just causes a few queues when trying to leave the establishment. Would i recommend this for a place to go for a coffee or brunch - a 100% yes from me!!

I went here for breakfast and it was amazing. Great ingredients and lovely and hot. Chance, the server was excellent great customer service and very friendly. Lewis the chef fantastic cooking I will be back.

Weird place!. Went in to look at the menu with a view to maybe eat there in the coming days. We,ve finished for the day was the ignorant response!, but I only want to look at the menu I said, the young girl then hid behind the counter???. Eventually I was given a menu, by now I had no intention of eating there, god knows what it would have been like!. It could be a gold mine as its situated in an amazing spot, such a shame!.

The food was really tasty and staff nice and friendly. I had the kofta and steak whilst my wife had the curry and brownie. All was delicious it is just expensive.

Muy pocos clientes comer y el ambiente es muy tenue. La comida está bien preparada y el servicio es rápido, pero con tan pocos diners no sorprendente.

Dropped in for brunch. Food and service very good. Would visit again and recommend to others.

Brilliant local pub with nice pizza

Food was delicious! I ate from the lunch set menu. Really pleased to see the gluten-free options have increased, especially in the desserts. However, I would appreciate a specific Gluten-free set lunch menu, to help keep the costs lower and to help make it easier to navigate gluten free products available in the set menu. Shame there isn't a gluten-free chocolate brownie though. Service (Joy) was friendly, professional and consistent.

Food option variety were perfect for a big group, the food was absolutely delicious - especially the rib pie! Also special shout-out to Liam for his incredibly diligent, helpful and friendly service. All round lovely experience, thank you very much.

Pequeño pub fantástico con una cálida bienvenida y gran casa - comida cocinada y un buen precio. ¿Qué más puedes querer? Desearía haber encontrado este lugar antes.

New ownership has rapidly improved the service and atmosphere. No food yet, but crisps are lovely
