Buena gama de bebidas, el personal era amable, pub parecía agradable, pero la mayor decepción fueron los baños con puertas perdidas y generalmente no muy agradable - esta es la mayor decepción. Terrible! Booked a table for 2. Turned up, no mention of any food unavailable. Got drinks. Ordered to be told no steaks, no pies, no fish no other stuff. We could have mac and Cheese and Scampi. The girls were on their phones not serving. Absolutely disgusting service. Never again Now in the Tram depot round the corner. Live music and FOOD!! And staff pleased to see us!

Popped in for a little drink and a meal after a long drive from London. Being disabled I'm sadly used to 2nd rate service however the staff assisting me were absolutely brilliant and in my opinion really went the extra mile with both service and their friendly and professional attitude. Luciana and Gabi really made my visit a great one and if I'm ever back in Cambridge I'll be sure to visit again!

The prices were very affordable with variety of drinks 👍. Gabby and Luciana were very friendly and patient staff. I highly recommend, especially for students!

Unfortunately this bad review is based solely on the fact that at 8pm you can’t have any food due to the kitchen closing shockingly early, even on a Saturday, like today. Frankly unacceptable. Other than that, a nice pub.

Gabby was a star treated me and my own to the finest service I have ever enjoyed in my life. We will definitely be back, although I do miss that max fella I would touch him

Gaby was amazing! Great bartender. Although the best I’ve ever had here was a humble duty manager known as Maximillian Haddon. Nothing better than a hung gaffer. Great draught selection, will be back.

Simple but cosy pub with friendly service

This pub could really do with some TLC, the prices are cheap which is nice but there is a reason for it. The ladies toilets are awful. One didn't open, one didn't have a door and the one that worked was filthy. The windows at the front make it look like the place is closed most of the time. There are much nicer places in Cambridge.

Went for lunch with a friend, never eaten in here before. Ordered the halloumi & chilli jam flatbread was amazing for something so simple and easy! Friend ordered the vegan sprout burger, the sprout filling wasn’t here nor there but liked it nevertheless overall. Would return 🍴

Grandes ofertas estudiantiles, aunque esto es algo de rey verde y no exclusivo del Duque de Cambridge. En general se sentía un poco deslucido sin mucho ambiente o bebidas particularmente especiales. Hay otros pubs cerca que proporcionan mucho más de un ambiente animado. También los baños son terribles. Por lo general no me importa deteriorar los baños en un pub histórico, pero una de las puertas faltaba y se sentía mugriento.

I came here for a lunch with my friends, had a crispy squid, as well as BLT sandwich with fries, both very tasty and cooked well. No complains about the stuff, very professional and friendly, helped me pick a beer from their medium size range. Will definitely be back again to try other stuff from their menu.

Come here a couple times a week, lovely staff, Gabby helped me choose a good cider. Will come again soon!!

Popped in for lunch, as dropping our daughter off at uni. Andy was friendly & helpful, greeting us with a smile. The food was delicious, we went for a selection of the small plates & triple fries. All very well cooked & well presented. We would definitely visit again.

I’m in Cambridge monthly and often stop here for a lunch break. It’s happened many times before like it has today. I counted just 4 customers in the pub and no one waiting to be served yet I waited 10 mins! 1 staff member was mid way making a coffee and it took sooooooo long. Kept adding things, stirring, adding more then went back and forth to the customer. A fellow customer seeing me get annoyed even said ‘sit down mate, when they get a coffee order it takes ages’. Clearly a regular delay then…get a better coffee machine maybe?!

Food was mediocre. To find a table that wasn't sticky with dried up drinks was the first challenge. Not the very worst I have been to but I won't be returning.

Came here a few months ago with family, was nice and quiet, the staff were amazing and the food was great too. Will be going again.

Disappointing. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and most items on the food menu were not available, including all chicken, beef and fish dishes. Which meant only 20% of the menu was left, even though we booked in advance for food & drinks. Only thing saving this place is a nice outdoor terrace which gets the sun all day

A very good food place, I ordered madri with nachos and they were super delicious, the atmosphere is very good, and Luciana's attention was super friendly, the place is highly recommended.

Pub grub.. - reply - unfortunately you are a green king pub, serving green king food, from a pre determined green king menu... To achieve 5 stars you'd need to do somthing different than all the other green king pubs... Don't get me wrong everything was fine... 3 stars.

Entered the pub at 5pm, got a table and menu, went to order and was then told the kitchen doesn't open until 6 and they couldn't take the order, no problem, had a drink then ordered at 6. Food arrived at 6.40, at 6.50 we were told the table was reserved at 7 so we need to be quick! Food quality was poor and not served hot. I won't be going back for a meal!

We had the 5 small plates, a very good selection to choose from. Well what can I say… there was spice where I wanted it and taste was amazing! When I return to Cambridge this will be the place for me! If I could give 10 stars I would. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Went along for a day out with my mates, got served by Michael who was amazing, knew his rums and whiskeys and knew how to pour a proper Guinness.

A nice pub in Central Cambridge

Having spent the day touring the sites (and pubs) of Cambridge we popped into The Duke of Cambridge on the way back to the hotel. Granted it didn't look the best from outside but how wrong we were. Having experienced varying levels of service and prices during the day, many from the same pub chain, the welcome we received here was first class. Even at 6pm, Caitlin was bright and cheery and eager to help. From beer choices to food ordering she couldn't do enough. Sat in the window, watching the world go by, with some lovely food and drink ended the day for us. Thanks to all for making it a pleasant experience. Steve, Netty, Chris & Julie.

The food was amazing, the starters/sharers were cooked really well and the flavours were great, all the dips/sauces went well with each dish which makes it easy to share. Our server was really polite, friendly and really helpful. Would recommend going here, the food was fantastic and the price was very reasonable for what we had. If you like to leave a tip I recommend bringing cash (:

Haven’t been in here for a while but still a good experience, the place is looking a little old and tired but the staff were really friendly and the food we had was really nice, very convenient if your shopping around the grafton centre area.

Booked a table for a Christmas meet up, firstly no where to park, apart from expensive car park at the rear, the pub seemed nice, a good selection on the menu, apart from the fact that when we went to order they had, No Chicken, No Steaks, No burgers. Which really cut down the menu to only a couple of items. Food came ages to come. When it arrived hot and tasty. Same issue with the puddings. Must say the staff where very nice amd welcoming. But they need to sort out the kitchen and menu. Also got a parking ticket, which although not their fault, sort of topped off our visit. All a bit stressful.

I was disappointed with the service. They forgot things that were meant to come with the meal - I had the vegan burger and it didn't come with the coleslaw or cheese in the burger, as it said on the menu. I had to ask for both. I don't know if they had a new chef who didn't know the menu, or what, because we went when it was extremely quiet and no-one else was eating food. If it was really busy then I might understand an error or two, but there was no excuse for the service to be this bad. When I did get the coleslaw, it tasted old and bad, so I couldn't eat it. It was a shame as I was there for a nice meal with my girlfriend. Her food was fine, but the experience felt spoiled to me by the order being so wrong - I felt like I should have got some money back, but I was too shy to ask. I felt ripped off. The person bringing out the food seemed nice and apologized for the mix up, I felt bad for them. The drinks (tap water) were okay and the burger itself was good, but I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon. Should have just gone on Spoons.

I like to be realistic about reviews so here is mine- Would put no stars but that’s not possible. I don’t like to say a pub is terrible but here was the worst pub experience for me. The Sunday roast the gravy just tasted like pure wine (however it doesn’t state anywhere that it was gravy wine). I told the manager the issue to which he replied “can’t do anything about taste preference” which is blatantly rude which it’s not my fault there was no specifying in the wine gravy all of the food was really offputting the meat wasn’t cut properly and I left there spending over £40 on literally just some drinks and chips. Not even a partial refund for the inconvenience is appalling considering I literally only had one bite of the whole food. Wouldn’t advise going here. Very quiet (now I know why it’s so quiet on a Sunday) and isn’t suitable for children or elderly. Wouldn’t be going here again and i advise everyone else the same because you won’t enjoy it. Thanks.

A good Greene king pub! Students get 20% off which is a bonus as it’s opposite the college. The garden is perfect for getting some sun and you can park your car round the back. Good range of lager as well. Thank you to the girls behind the bar, both very lovey

Went for lunch on a very quiet week day. Apparently they had a new menu but they didn’t have half the dishes we wanted which was a bit disappointing. Service was ok but not great. Wasn’t asked if wanted sauces etc with the meal and dishes were just put on table without being asked whose was for who. Although the lady who took the order was friendly enough.

Lovely pub, a bit unnoticeable if you're passing but worth dropping into. Good food at reasonable prices for Cambridge and drinks service is fast and friendly. So much room, have never struggled to get a table and a nice big garden out the back with parasols to shield from the sun if you wish. A great pit stop if you're passing through the area, and a handy car park out behind the garden but not run by the pub so is pay and display I believe.
