We were nearby and came for the food. Ordered Escovitch Fish, Soy-Glazed Tofu and Squid Ring. The fish and tofu dishes were really good. The combination of ingredients in both dishes were delightful. Highly recommended.

A fantastic pub. A short walk away from the station and the bustle of Mill road. Friendly and helpful barman that helped us find a nice cider (amongst the dozen or so that were on offer) and a cask ale. They had a nice range of the Milton Brewery's beers and they're all top class. Didn't try the food though, saving that for a later date.

I came straight from train station, only 8 min walk for a nice pint of beer. I met up with my BF after long journey to Cambridge. The bar staff was nice, friendly and funny and made us feel welcome. The prices was reasonable and the selection at drinks was good too. We prefer to have some beer or ales and they have good selection of draught beers and ales. They have also smoking area outside behind the bar and there is plenty space for sitting as well. Lovely experience.

Each time I have come here, the pub has been completely packed full of people. On the face of it, the pub is good and offers a variety of beers which in some cases you also may not have heard of. There is a traditional feel inside this establishment, with wooden benches but limited standing space. When it’s busy, the Arms is heaving and it can make navigating yourself from one point to another very difficult as people look to occupy every last inch of space. I’ve heard the food here is very nice but I haven’t tried it myself.

The devinshoire arms is welcoming pub just of mill road, on arrival you will be greeted by a very knowledgeable member of staff or a warm friendly local. The selection of beers is unquestionably one of the best selections in cambridge, the range varies from English ales to foreign beers and traditional ciders, all the beers are exceptionally well kept resulting in you always getting the most out of your pint. The food is also exquisite, with mountainous portions, good food and generous prices the Devonshire arms definitely stands out for anyone who enjoys simple tasty cuisine. The pub often has live music once a week, a night which is always atmospheric for all the right reasons. The Devonshire arms is a little jem of cambridge, the beer is always well taken care of as are the customers who visit, the food is exceptional value for money while still being tasty and of a high quality, the staff also make the pub great, they always have a joke up their sleeve and are they are always prepared to help, make sure to check this exemplary little pub out.

First time here and the pub seemed great (great selection of ales) and the staff were friendly enough, but when I ordered some food, from a menu that looked decent, I was disappointed by what I got. I went for the philly cheese hotdog and the hotdog itself was a very cheap chip shop like sausage. If your going to do hotdogs properly at least go for a proper hotdog and not simply a sausage. The steak was very well done and chewy which is a shame. A friend had a burger with mac n cheese chips and that turned out well so thats why I have not rated it poor.

One of the best pubs in Cambridge in terms of the range of beer and very reasonable prices. The food is not so great. Service is slow. Splendid pub, although I wish they'd change the name back to the Midland Tavern. I'm not at all sure there isn't underlying racism in the brewery's refusal to do so. But in a polite way, befitting of Cambridge. They serve Milton Brewery ales which is the best reason to come here. I don't understand why more pubs in Cambridge aren't serving these great local ales. They're made 3 miles away but everyone drinks that awful Oakham stuff. Why? Did Cambridge not get onto the reducing food miles thing yet? Or does everyone just have no tastebuds?
