We've recently moved to the area and in the process of exploring the local culinary landscape. This establishment was a wonderful discovery. A lovely quiet garden, friendly staff and quick service all just complemented what was undeniably a fantastic Sunday lunch. The food was well seasoned, the meat treated with respect and rested appropriately and a lovely range of sides (just ask the kids!) All in all, completely surprised and will definitely be bringing the family back again. Cherry on top? Wonderful value for a family of 4. Many thanks to all at the Red Lion! 🙏

No te dejes engañar por las imágenes, este lugar ya no es un pequeño café, sino un delicioso restaurante libanés con las mejores opciones de comida a la parrilla! Es un secreto bien guardado que mi novio y yo hemos estado disfrutando como residentes de Cambridge... No solo es la boca de la comida - agua, pero la relación calidad-precio también es increíble - en serio no te arrepentirás de elegir este lugar de la plétora de restaurantes Mill Rd. También recientemente renovado, y la decoración es ahora muy acogedor también. El propietario es muy amable, dando al lugar una sensación muy amable, acogedor. ¡Es exactamente la experiencia que nos encanta al comer fuera!

2nd time I have been, service is great and so is the food. Love the bacon gravy, fresh burgers which was cooked to my liking (med - rare). Onion rings are huge and full of flavour. Highly recommend!

Worst vegetarian dining experience I have had in the UK. I said to the server clearly that we wanted the small plates as starters, then he said all together right and then tutted when I said I asked for them as starters. Due to the poor attitude of the server I then decided against ordering sides with my main, and only ordered tap water when I was going to have a beer. The Garlic Bread was actually a raw pizza base with a smearing of grease and tasteless seasoning. The bang bang broccoli was more like poop poo broccoli it did not look very well presented, not very appetising and tasted inedible. The 'Sea bass' was tasteless and cold on top of hard undercooked raw potato and my friends pizza had a raw base. We felt intimidated by the staff who were great at looking at us but poor In their communication or customer service

A great place to visit when you are in Cambridge. Hot chocolate regular was a large portion and toast with sausage and egg was decent. Slightly on the pricey end though.

A beautiful and very clean pub. Welcoming hosts and very friendly guests. We immediately felt welcome. The food is absolutely delicious. Thank you for the excellent service and recommendations from MANI. We had a wonderful morning. Our dog was also very welcome. She slept peacefully and enjoyed the break.

Full English breakfast, delicious and plenty of it. Voffee and tea on tap included. Very nice staff and lots of locals appeared to be using which is always a good sign.

Me encanta este pub y tengo tanta suerte que es mi local. Im en silla de ruedas y el personal es tan lovley y servicial. Cuando mis padres vienen de Francia les encanta ir aquí. Tengo mucha suerte de que este pub esté en mi puerta. Muchas gracias

Been in a few times while staying away with work nice staff , loads of TVs for the football etc , was there for arsenal semi final game very busy and noisy until psg scored 😂😂

Excellent service with gluten free and dog friendly, really looked after all of us including the dog.

We chose the pub as it allows overnight stays for Camper Vans. We had an early flight from Stansted and the location was ideal, near to our relatives. We were impressed by the car park area and got a quiet, fairly private space. On announcing our arrival, the manager was welcoming and took our details. We had our evening meal and it was really tasty. Lovely Katsu Chicken with loads of sauce, along with rice AND chips. My wife enjoyed her beyond burger. We had a coffee and dolcetti mini dessert for afters. Perfect as we were pretty full from the main course. The staff are all very attentive and friendly, especially Max who looked after our table.

The beer is excellent and the food is average to good, taking 2nds place in priority; constructively limited menu that covers most tastes. Rather pricey but typical Cambridge. Service is prompt but don't expect smiles. A little grubby and sticky; could do with major clean. The biggest let-down is that it gets too busy due to lack of decent North Cambridge pubbage. Very noisy sometimes with all of the hard surfaces and minimalist Milton Brewery aesthetic. Plenty of outdoors seating though in good weather.

Tenía un doble expreso para llevar. Pregunté si quería azúcar y el personal lo añadió y lo agitó. Eso es servicio. Buen café y personal amable. Volveré pronto por pastel. El lugar a la vuelta de la esquina tiene una espera de 15 minutos para un espresso (irónico).

I came back after a year and it’s still the best place to eat fish n chips in UK. Also the 28day Steak and the Vintage Cheddar Burger were also tasty. Would recommend to eat here! Also the place has some good history!
