Celebrating a birthday lunch with a son and his family ,I t was our first visit, I'd heard good things about Browns and we were.delighted with the ambiance and well presented and delicious food. I'm sure we'll be back !

Had a lovely time for a friend's hen do. Savanna was so friendly and attentive to us during our bottomless brunch. The aperol spritz was consistently delicious.

We went valentine day and we don’t normally do chain restaurants but we like sound of there Valentine menu We had seafood plater for 2 that was excellent And my hubby had the monk fish which he enjoyed. I had the steak and meant to have pepper corn sauce but instead they sent different sauce. My steak was cooked lovely but just warm and could not get hold of a waiter We had crumble for pudding it again was delicious Would go again for sure

the portion size is ridiculous. don't order from here. I ordered roast beef dinner and it was a childs portion!! I'm appalled. it cost £21.95. never again!!!

Came for a work Christmas meal, good food and service from Savannah! We were a group of 8 and didn't have to pay a deposit or choose in advance which was a bonus!

Food was delicious and Savannah was great! She provided prompt service and was really lovely. Will definitely come back, need the 7oz fillet and scallops again soon!

Food, service from Abdul and general feeling was great. Music was not loud so conversation was easy. The only negative thing was that it felt a bit cold in the restaurant and the music was turned up 5 mins before we left!

Browns had just had a refurb, looks very christmassy at the mo! Had a v nice Xmas lunch, Abbie took good care of us.

Visited Browns on Sunday night for Christmas dinner with my two young children. The setting and service were excellent. We had the festive set menu, whilst the food was delicious, the portions were rather small, and despite having a starter and a main I left hungry. I have no issue with paying a higher price for quality but it defeats the purpose if one leaves hungry. One small potato, two small carrots, and two slices of Turkey with a cocktail sausage we're easily finished by my 9-year-old son.

I had the pleasure of being served by Salim, and I must say, he is an exceptional bartender! From the moment I approached the bar, his attentiveness stood out. He was welcoming, engaging, and ensured that every detail of the service was flawless. Salim’s cocktail-making skills are top-notch; every drink he crafted was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. He even took the time to recommend cocktails based on my preferences, which added a personal touch to the experience. The level of care and professionalism he demonstrated throughout my visit truly elevated the entire evening. It’s rare to find someone who combines such great service with genuine passion for what they do. Salim is a credit to the establishment, and I will definitely be returning for more of his amazing drinks and outstanding hospitality!

Very pretty place but the service was awful. We had to ask three separate times for water for the table. A pot of tea took more than half an hour and our food an hour to arrive. Food was okay.

Came in for brunch, I understand that we were quite a large party, but we asked for tap water 3 different times before getting it, waited half an hour for our drinks to come, and a further 45 minutes for our food orders to get here.

Food arrived really quickly, the bar area had a lovely ambiance We were only offered the set menu. Our server told us the service charge was not a tip and we could pay a tip separately in cash otherwise he would have to share with everyone else!!! I then showed my browns loyalty card apologising for not showing before paying and was told it was too late to add the booking to it. Wasn’t a problem at the Ivy! Service was not bad but lacked friendliness and attentiveness and was quite shocked he asked for a separate tip

Lovely atmosphere, especially for the Christmas period. The restaurant was quite busy but service was very good and attentive. Food felt a little overpriced and a it is hit and miss - the braised beef did not meet the expectations but fish platter was delicious

I tried this restaurant, the food was okay okay but the service was out of this world. The guy who served me was the best man i have ever seen. The greatest ever. I want my kids to be like him. His greatness his aura is out of this world. Only one thing bad about him is he is a messi fan. Other than that he is the best

We had a really nice experience at Browns. Our waitress Abbi was very friendly, seemed to know a lot about what is on the menu and was really sweet with our toddler. Overall lovely place for a meal would definitely recommend!

Food was delicious! I ate from the lunch set menu. Really pleased to see the gluten-free options have increased, especially in the desserts. However, I would appreciate a specific Gluten-free set lunch menu, to help keep the costs lower and to help make it easier to navigate gluten free products available in the set menu. Shame there isn't a gluten-free chocolate brownie though. Service (Joy) was friendly, professional and consistent.

Came here a while ago for a family birthday. Lovely restaurant and servers were lovely, food was delicious but slightly more expensive than our usual restaurants. Would definitely go back.

Enjoyed the food but was disappointed not to have my choice of starter. The restaurant wasn't full or busy but we did wait a long time for food to arrive. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Could easily rate more highly with a little more efficienxy

Large restaurant with an intimate feel. Varied menu, and delicious food. Waiting staff were frankly exceptional. Unhurried and an entirely enjoyable experience from the warm welcome to stepping back into the Cambridge evening.

We had a late breakfast here, served until midday. Full English, Vegetarian and Eggs Royale were all delicious. Good quality ingredients, lovely setting, relaxed and welcoming staff.
