The best restaurants in Cambridge East of England

I went there for a salsa class, and it was really fun.

Always enjoy my regular trips to Greggs, friendly, polite staff, and great value for money. However, their tables are generally filthy and not cleared for ages - one clear table when we went in last Saturday, and had to wipe that down with hand spray and brush crumbs off the chairs - all says a lot about the customers, but PLEASE CLEAR AND CLEAN THE TABLES. Waste sacks overflowing and not emptied, staff just chatting behind the counter.

Second visit to this restaurant and food was excellent once again. In our opinion the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in the area.

Having been regular visitors pre Lockdown the five of us got together at the Forum on Friday evening for what proved to be a very enjoyable evening. The food was as we remembered it EXCELLENT. The restaurant was fully booked but the staff were able to make you feel that you were the only table in the room. whoever is responsible for their training and supervision has our deepest gratitude. will we come again... you bet. Great service, brilliant food. Such a clean restaurant! The mutton fell off the bone and the lamb chops were lovely. The lassi was great and the waiters were very friendly

We travelled to Cambridge and my young son was extremely keen to try Africfood given the reviews. What a terrible experience. For £7.50 you get one piece of goat ' meat' ( bone surrounded by a minuscule amount of meat) with a lot of rice. He was extremely disappointed and I was kind of furious. This is really a bit of a scam. In a market with lots of amazing food stalls, why would anyone spend their money here for a ridiculous amount of goat curry.

Beautiful food, wonderful people, and incredible energy — such a special evening. I especially loved the asparagus dish — one of my favourite Spring ingredients — and it was so beautifully prepared. The inclusion of wild asparagus was pure magic ✨

The pizza is excellent, best in town - comes with a nice garlic/mayo ish dip/sauce. The environment is quite nice and cosy too.

I have never tried anything from this company before. That was until I saw a slot from TooGoodToGo advertising a £9.00 to £3.50 purchase, which I took up on. I have also never been much of a waffle fan, but that changed the day I tried one of these waffles. In my surprise bag, I had 4 waffles, a pot of chocolate chips (to melt), a banana, and four small individual wrapped biscuits. The edges of the waffles had a nice sweet crust, and they went so perfect with the melted chocolate. Would I spend full price on one of these waffles? Absolutely. Not only is it worth the experience, it managed to turn a waffle hater into a waffle lover. I’ll definitely be visiting again in the future.

Breve reseña es que nuestros amigos y familiares ME ENCANTARON las arepas. Muchos de los cuales estaban de visita desde Sudamérica Ivan y su estación de Arepa proporcionaron catering para nuestra celebración de bodas en nuestro jardín en casa a través de su camión de alimentos. Iván fue genial en la previa con la comunicación y las arepas fueron amadas tanto por los británicos como por los latinos entre nosotros. Recomendaría encarecidamente y usaría Ivan de nuevo
