The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Cambridge East of England

Fui con amigos. La comida es bastante decente. Pero han subido el precio y los tamaños de las porciones son mucho más pequeños, ya sea subiendo el precio y manteniendo el mismo tamaño de porción o manteniendo el mismo precio y dando menos. Dos mesas a nuestro lado también notaron la diferencia y todos decían que no volveríamos aquí de nuevo. También añaden un cargo por servicio, pero esto debería ser opcional. Como dije, la comida es bastante decente, pero tuvimos que pedir más comida después de pedir una parrilla mixta. ¡Y no soy un gilipollas gordo que come mucho!

Tuvimos el brunch del domingo para un grupo de 12 personas, incluyendo 2 niños a las 10 am. La ubicación y el ambiente es de primera categoría. Sin embargo, ahí es donde termina la emoción. El buffet no tiene la selección y la calidad que usted esperaría de un lugar que cobra más de $ 53 por adulto más una propina obligatoria del 17%. Preste mucha atención a la máquina de tarjetas de crédito, ¡todavía le pedirá una propina! ! ¡Esta práctica es muy astuta! ! La selección es muy pequeña por el precio. Las patas de cangrejo eran pequeñas, sin sabor y de mala calidad. La estación de tortilla es huevos líquidos y no frescos agrietados. Los huevos benedictinos quedaron sin sabor. La carne en la estación de tallado era diminutos trozos de costilla. La selección de ensaladas frías parecía haber estado fuera desde el domingo anterior y la gamba fría era asquerosa. El tocino, el jamón y la salchicha fueron su selección habitual del molino y no la mejor calidad. Las bebidas alcohólicas se reparten a regañadientes a las 11 de la mañana y nadie nos pregunta si queremos un segundo. ¡El César fue terrible! ! ! Además, el café nunca se repuso y nunca nos dijeron que había cafés especiales incluidos. Sobre todo el brunch / desayuno es mejor en su articulación de desayuno promedio. No desperdicies tu dinero duramente ganado. Nuestro servidor fue Allison, no puedo decir nada bueno sobre este servidor. El restaurante tiene una hora de descanso de 2 horas, nuestra reserva fue a las 10 am. A las 11: 25 nos dieron la cuenta y nos dijeron que nuestras 2 horas habían terminado ya que ella dijo que habíamos llegado a las 9: 45 am. ¡No es verdad! ! La corregimos y le dijimos que veníamos a las 10 de la mañana y que nos quedaba media hora, ¡ya que muchos de nosotros seguíamos comiendo! ! Cuando pedimos café, ella parecía muy perturbada de ser preguntada. Cuando llegó el momento de que nos fuéramos y pagáramos, una persona de nuestra mesa pagó en efectivo. Se le preguntó si deseaba su cambio (recuerde que la propina está incluida) dijo que sí. Cuando Allison regresó con el cambio, lo arrojó sobre la mesa, la mitad cayó al suelo, se dio la vuelta y se alejó. ¡Terrible! No soy en modo alguno una persona delicada, solo siento que si estás pagando $ 53 más el 17% de propina e impuestos por persona para el brunch, la selección de comidas y bebidas, el sabor y la calidad deberían ser increíbles. Lamento decir que Cambridge Mill ha engañado a sus clientes para que no piensen que están obteniendo calidad, ¡lo cual definitivamente no es así!

waiter was nice however although the food didn’t take too long it arrived slightly cold and the burger was abit dry in addition to this the price was a shocker it came to £106 for 2 burgers a few sides and 2 drinks (£8 for a mocktail) and £11 for water!!! will definitely not be going again absoloute rip off

A concept that's different from France. Half restaurant, half cafeteria.

We were walking to the station and passed this place - I remembered a friend's brother recommended it so we went in and I am so very pleased we did! The food was impeccable and the manager is a dote - turns out he's managed a few places I rate very highly prior to this so I'm not surprised how nice it is. Didn't take photos of the food (next time!) cos 1) hungry so snarfed it 2) low on battery and needed it for the train. We all had the prawn starter which was delicious. Prawns cooked to perfection - still juicy and tasty, with fantastic flavouring, and the sourdough was divine. Mains, two of us had mussels and the other the crab linguine - again, top notch. The sauce the mussels came in was so nice I had to drink the remainder (sorry friends, I know, I know..!) and my friend was defending her linguine with her fork when I tried to snaffle some, it was that good 😄 Sadly, too full for pudding - again - next time. Good wine list (restock your albarinho tho..!).

I do not recommend getting any drinks there that are mixed ( only bottled ), make sure you watch the bartender make the drink as I made a mistake of not looking and I’m pretty sure something was put in mine and my friends drink, as this was the only one we had and we were sick and completely locked out from everything around us, we can’t remember most of our night ( and we didn’t even drink much). They also sell alcohol to teenagers and they don’t check ids. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

The pizza in city kebab is really good. it’s the only place that’s open till late at night when everything else shuts even late into the night at 3.. Perfect place for you to grab food after your tipsy and hungry after a few drinks at the club

Grubby plastic marque. Drinks took ages to come out, cocktails were underwhelming, small menu (which is fine, but they didn't have everything on it). Starters came out but olives and nuts we ordered didn't come - eventually (when everyone had finished their starters), a grubby bowl of olives came out but they had no nuts! Wine was expensive for what it was. Mains dribbled out, rather than all coming together, rare steak wasn't rare, food wasn't particularly hot. Tiny risotto. We had pudding and a couple of us ordered what we were told was homemade Bailey's ice cream with a chocolate fondant - it turned out to be bay leaf ice cream, which didn't go particularly well! Had some more underwhelming and overpriced cocktails in the bar. Woke up this morning feeling hard done by and then read a text from one of our party asking if I thought we should complain. Really disappointing and certainly not what you'd expect from an upmarket central Cambridge hotel. Won't be heading back.
