Good quality bacon and sausage and well executed breakfast, small menu done to a high standard! Small cute establishment, lovely to have whilst staying at The Waterman.

Terribly painfully slow service, poor girl serving was on her own on a busy Saturday morning, making the coffee’s, serving, taking payments. Run like a joke, and food very average.

Went in here for coffee and breakfast, and despite the small size this place has quite a lot to offer. A few good veggie and vegan options and the vegan breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Coffee was very nice and it was good to see Vietnamese style ice coffee on the menu. If they're busy, I'd expect you'd have to wait a little while to be served. However, at the time we went in there you can also sit in the Waterman pub next door and order to there if you need more space. Would definitely visit again!

I would normally of eaten lunch at Stir up the road but it was too busy today.. No30 is a Tiny place but quirky.. coffee was nice, Toastie needed to be a pretty amazing toastie to live up to its whopping £7.50 price tag! And what baffled me further was the cheese and tomato was the most expensive one!? Tuna melt/bacon brie and cranberry @£6.50.. This has left a bad taste in my mouth all day! One slice of seemingly tasteless cheese in 2 slices of ciabatta and 2 slices of beef tomato.. N0.30 Are you sure!?

Sorry but to have a lunch menu which has a few options on sandwiches and the only cooked lunch was an expensive burger it's not great. We waited over half an hour for our third choice of food o arrive. Greasy chips with an unrequested cheese slice and a tasteless burger was not my idea of heaven. The staff were lovely but the kitchen staff were over stretched and since the pub was booked we went into the cafe assuming there would be food. Sundays are not the day to go here.

I love this place. It's small and charming. Going there in the morning for a fresh coffee just before work is a perfect way to start the day. Thank you for being close to my office :)

During the stay in the Waterman pension, breakfasts were served here. Nice place, good coffe, absolutely lovely full english breakfast, which I tried also in vegan style. Place is quite busy during the morning, so be patient with the only waitress.

Cute nextdoor space to the Waterman with access to its charming garden. Quite enjoy this place, largely for the halloumi sandwich. It is bonkers good.

For whatever reason, there just aren't many coffee shops in this specific part of town--across the river, sure, no problem, but not here. Waterman, the pub next door, have partitioned off this little space for a very cosy and warm experience. The huge window offers about four stools and a solid table for you to sip and contemplate the outside world (power points right on hand for your laptop), and about a dozen chairs farther inside give some space to catch up with friends. The pastries are tasty and locally made, and there are even gluten-free options. The cafe is maybe two metres off a very busy intersection, so it's great for people watching, but it's also a bit noisy, especially if you smoke and need to sit outside.

This is a fairly new coffee shop on Chesterton road. Smallish but well set up with a good range of drinks and food. Delightful ambience. Worth a visit.

The coffee is very bad here: extremely bitter, over-extracted and I watched them steam the milk by just leaving the wand in the jug and walking off. You can't charge £2.75 for a takeaway cappuccino and pretend you care about coffee when it tastes so cheap. Get a good barista, a proper La Marzocco machine and some light roasted beans...

Had a black coffee. Average and it is not a very relaxing place, either. I was either extremely unlucky or the standards here are not that great. I will not be returning.

Took my daughter in for lunch. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and asked if the crayfish could be served on the side, rather than in the bread. The waitress took my order with no problems. The chef decided after about 10 minutes that this wasnt ok and decided to humiliate her infront of us. We got what we asked for, so I'm struggling to see what the problem was. Clearly accomodating customer requests is not something the chef values, and speaking to his colleagues in such an unpleasant way infront of customers just seems arrogant. Food wasnt all that either, so not sure what he's got to be arrogant about. Wont be going back. The waitress was great by the way, and very embarrassed.

We were desperately looking for a late evening burger, so we just walked in on random. We got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. The guy who took our orders did not seem very enthusiastic about our arrival.

Went here based on the reviews - we went with two vegetarian breakfasts and asked for just smoked salmon and poached eggs for or ten year old. Two lattes and a hot chocolate completed the order.

Fell upon No 30 by accident and by golly I fell in the right direction! The cappuccino was wonderful AND HOT! The egg’s florentine was to die for. No sooner had I ordered than everything was before me. A wonderful experience with lovely service and a smile. Thank You.

I recently stayed in an Airbnb across the street from No. 30 when I woke up at 6:15 am and couldn't go back to sleep. I went on the hunt for coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a shop just across the road!

Lamb shish comes with very satisfying large chunks of meat :D It gives little chew and tastes flavorful. Not fatty. Salad seems fresh. It’s hard to choose between wrap and pita as always but the pita absorbs the sauce and juices so I’m glad with my choice. Lamb doner looks a little like reformed meat and also not always shaved fresh off the grill. The chicken doner looks decent. (First visit after passing by in years. Might come back later.) Basic but can be 5 star for the price if you make the right choice ;)

A really pleasant dining experience. Steaks were cooked perfectly and portion sizes were good. The broccoli with chilli & garlic in particular was very good. Staff very attentive and friendly.
