I've reviewed this resturant before after many an incredible visit but I wanted to write an additional review specifically for the Winter Mela! Obviously this works very differently to when they open as a resturant: they basically turn the place into a street food market and you can get whatever takes your fancy from the different stalls set up around the resturant. You buy tokens to pay for your food and there is so much on offer (and really great to see some new dishes that aren't on the regular menu!). It was a little crowded at times, but everyone made you feel so welcome and the whole place had such a great atmosphere that you didn't really mind. There was also singing and dancing which they invited everyone to get involved in. Every single dinner experience we've had at Namaste Village has been exceptional, but this might have taken first place for us! What a special afternoon, thank you <3 Hopefully some of the delicious vegan dishes (e.g. Chicken Tandoori) can make it to the main menu in their vegan version - we've never been able to have this before as it's normally vegetarian. Special mention to whatever that sweetcorn chaat salad was?! It was probably our favourite dish! And the pineapple drink!

Delicious vegetarian Indian dinner. Fresh ingredients in every dish. We loved the crunchy cauliflower entree & the vegetarian butter chicken. Kingfisher beer on draught is a bonus. Margavi looked after us very well. The place is full most nights, unsurprisingly. Highly recommend.

Having been to the Norwich restaurant many times, I was happy to find a Namaste Village in Cambridge. I was greeted and seated promptly and noted the decor was different to the Norwich branch, but nonetheless pleasant with particular attention to detail on the celing. When time came to order, I chose the Chana Masala and Gujarati Pulav rice. All was well presented and matched the high standards and tastes I have come to expect. Desert was something I had not tried before, the Beetroot Halwa. It was quite rich, sweet and had a smooth creamy texture. Many thanks to the staff who were attentive and prompt in service. Absolutely amazing! We mistakenly booked the wrong date when making an online booking, however, the staff were so accommodating. A sign for how the dining experience was to continue. As vegetarians we were thrilled to learn the entire menu was meat free and we were in for a culinary experience like no other. I’ve never had starters served so quick, this is no exaggeration within 5 minutes of our order being taken we had our drinks followed by the starters an amazing papri chaat. The service was absolutely impeccable, our server was patient and let us take our time to read the menu and came over as soon as we were ready. The mains were fantastic, freshly prepared and bursting of flavour. Special mention for the beetroot halwa, that was served with soya based ice cream… just delicious. Please don’t just take my word for it, go and experience a culinary journey like no other.

The customer service was good and the staff was very friendly. The food was not as good as you would expect from the reviews and the amount of main dish options was very limited. The curry I chose tasted bland and I did not like the vegetables choices. I did however enjoy the garlic butter naan and the mango lassi.

Really lovely curry, would say we felt slightly rushed and the drinks arrived after our food did but overall a great curry!

Went as family of 6 to celebrate a special birthday and Mother's Day. Fantastic meal, tried lots of different dishes to share and had a great evening. Service excellent on a busy evening and a free curry as Mother's Day present from the restaurant. A lovely surprise! Highly recommended.

The meal at Namaste Village was superb. The starter Chit Chaat platter was delicious as were the disaster and Paneer butter masala . As ever the service was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend.
