London prices in Brentwood, burger and chips and steak bun and chips, 2 coffees was £43 Coffee was ok Chips were overcooked and burger greasey .. won’t be returning

Excellent family pub, all staff friendly and efficient, food is new venture but great quality, great live music 2 or 3 times a month, look forward to many more enjoyable times in here.

I must say it is a lovely venue and booked after the great reviews and at short notice The service lacked a bit 3 people seemed to be waiting on several tables and had a long wait between courses Great atmosphere but my partner was a bit miffed when my glass of wine was topped up and his wasn’t Oppps TBH my beef dish was a bit chewy and our sides were delivered after we had eaten most of our mains The fish dish was amazing said partner so 50/50 review

Very good service was willing to do something a little off menu for my daughter, she likes sweets for breakfast, good for the whole family

Massive shout out to Bev. I chatted to her about chilli jam and ten minutes later she had found the recipe we spoke about and had come over to our table to share it with me! On top of that, the overall customer experience from everyone was excellent. Breakfast was spot on and we spent more money on cakes, as they all looked so tempting! Make sure that you visit this amazing farm shop and café 10/10

Absolutely amazing. Me and my partner took advantage of their Sunday sleep over in one of the Shepherds hut with a hot tub. We had a 3 course meal, the nights stay in the shepherds hut with hot tub & breakfast all for only £130. The food was absolutely delicious and the Shepherds hut was brilliant!! Spending the night in the hot tub staring up at the stars was the icing on the cake. Definitely be doing it again, and again!!

Do not order soda water with lime cordial as my daughter and I were charged £18 for two large glasses. We were not told when ordering that it was so expensive and didn’t think to ask as I drink this all the time and have never ever been charged even half this amount of money. When I complained I was told that loads of people complain about it. Then why don’t they warn you when you place your order? Very disappointed with this service and price. I have given 2 stars as the pizza was really nice.

We'd been a week previously and couldn't resist returning. The 'Full Nelson' breakfast was enormous and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Stayed recently, and I did like being there other than the staff refusing to accept scottish money saying. we have had a scottish forgery so we dont accept any scottish money (really). The most commonly forged currency in the uk is a bank of England £20 note. There are many ways to verify if money is genuine pens and machines. This prejudice needs to stop. Post office state Scottish money is accepted but not given back out except in Scotland. And all banks will accept Scottish notes.

My wife and I stayed in a local pub where the food was nothing great and overpriced. We decided to try the chippy on our second night. Best chippy dinner we had eaten in years. No frills top fish and chips. Not the healthiest of menus, but a rare treat nevertheless. To paraphrase McArthur, ‘We shall return!’

I am a regular visitor to this Restaurant/Bar and would highly recommend. I recently had an accident here, no fault of theirs I may add, they have bent over backwards to look after me and welcome me back after a stay in hospital. First choice for me and encourage everyone to pay a visit to experience the fantastic service and food/drinks x

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing gammon cooked to perfection. Certainly looking forward to returning again soon.
