Had Sunday Roast around 2.30pm in the pub which has a lovely dining area and have been trying out a few places recently along the coast for sunday roast. The service was very good and friendly but the dinner when it arrived although nicely presented was luke warm at best and tasted as it had been sitting around for a while. As a result both me and my companion requested it was reheated and after a approx 15 minute wait we were served with a new hot dinner.

Brilliant value for money and the food is epic. Service flawless. Atmosphere is lovely too. Visited here several times now and have never been disappointed. Happily will recommend and will defo be returning.

My father passed away yesterday, so I rang the Woolpack to arrange for a funeral tea for fifty people. The initial call with a young lady was pleasant enough, but she wasn’t sure about being able to pay and have the menu upgraded (currently £9.95 per head) She asked us to wait whilst she spoke to the chef - ‘Richard’ - to see if this was possible. We overheard their conversation. The lady told him what we wanted - a funeral tea - and that we’d like to know if we could upgrade. He said to her “You get what you get. That’s it”. She asked if he would talk to us and he said no, but after she pleaded with him, he came to the phone. He was awful. We won’t be having our wake there, nor will EVER use this pub - our local - again.

Owner is quite rude, selection of beer is fairly average. The food is quite obviously defrosted and overall it’s nothing to get excited about.

Would be a lovely place if the people that worked here actually put in the effort. False advertisement. Says it’s open till 5pm online but can’t order any food after 2pm? When questioned about it the “boss” just brushes it off by saying it’s “changing” but no one that lives there even knows this? He seems to not care at all about his customers. This place used to be nice but it has just got worse and worse. Something needs to change, this is where people live and they can’t even order a decent meal after 2pm. Terrible!

Después llegó ayer como residente, me quedé muy impresionado por el memorial de guerra. Es un recordatorio del sacrificio fuerzas conmovedores británico sufrió.

We've been coming to the Wiveton Bell for a number of years. We hadn't been since it's new ownership. We had a big family meal, and it was pretty shoddy. The food was outrageously priced for what it was. My wife had what was essentially quarter of braised cabbage on some beetroot. We paid £19 for it. The macaroni cheese for one of the children was undercooked stodge with no cheese in it. Cod for the fish and chips wasn't fresh, the potatoes served as part of the main meals tasted as if they'd been sat under heat lights for hours. In fact nothing tasted fresh. The food took 70 minutes to arrive. Despite their being very few people in the restaurant. It used to be such a lovely place to eat, but we won't be returning after this afternoon.

Popped in for lunch and my partner chose “Wings, bites and strips” only £7.49 for three options and never seen so much chicken. Served quickly with a smile and very tasty. I ordered the new “Sticky Korean Fried Chicken Bowl”. Only £10 with a pint of really lovely JBH ale (so nice I just had to have another one). Large helping of really tasty chicken in a lovely spicy sauce sitting on a plentiful supply of chips. Hope this dish becomes a permanent fixture on the menu.
