First and LAST time eating here. Nearly had an accident in the car park as lunatic woman just missed us in her haste to take our parking spot before we had manoeuvred into it. Ordered the steak &kidney pudding but the meat chunks were hard chewy and inedible. Asked for the pie to be changed and was told a few minutes. By the time the replacement arrived everyone else in my party had long finished even after staggering their meals. Noticed lunatic woman was a regular chatting to staff in her filthy clothes and pushing past customers eating at tables. No discount or apology from staff. Toilets unclean. Reviews donโt look great here. Wish Iโd read them beforehand. Not the best very expensive experience and will not be repeating thank you.

This is the third time weโve stayed at this hotel in recent years and it hasnโt really improved much. The staff were very good, considering the poor quality hotel. The public areas and rooms were dated and below par considering the cost. Travelodge and Premier Inns are far superior The hotel is in need of a complete renovation, being somewhat tired, dark and grubby. The bathroom in our room, 51, was small - no problem with this - but the sink was a cheap plastic affair (similar to that found in an old caravan) which was stained and chipped. All four taps in the bathroom require changing, being old with worn washers. Turn them on and nothing happens until the seal releases and water comes out in an uncontrolled gush. Very difficult to gently control the temperature, scalding to cold with a couple of degrees of turn. Not good for children or the elderly when showering. Although we turned the radiator off in the room and opened the window, the room was too hot. This is because the piping supplying hot central heating water still flows uncontrolled through the pipes supplying the radiator. Food was only average. The Best Western hotel in Shaftesbury, The Chase, was of a similar standard, quite awful, and therefore it seems, a common theme throughout this chain.

Beautiful spot to have a cheeky breakfast watching the wildlife and world go by out of the massive windows. Excellent hot hearty breakfast and decent value. They have a huge deck on the water that I look forward to coming back to try out in the summer.

Firstly our waitress was really friendly and took time to explain what gluten free options were on the menu for my friend. Despite being busy the service was good. The food was ok, but nothing special. There is a good choice of food on the menu. It is definitely worth going here before a show at the Cliffs Pavilion but do book as itโs very popular.

Food was poor. Ordered pork loin, with parmesan potatoes and seasonal vegetables Pork was so tough and dry, not sure how long it had sat before it was served, I'm guessing by the look of it at least a couple of days. Seasonal vegetables were a tiny portion of cabbage and 2 shavings of carrot, hardly any gravy. I did complain, will not be back again.

Three night stay at this hotel. We had a large room on the front but were not bothered by the traffic noise. The room was very comfortable and clean. The decor was outdated but they are apparently in a refurbishment programme. Breakfast was super, plenty on offer and hot food excellent. The young girls that run the front of house were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Good value for money.

This place does an excellent Sunday lunch, good value for money, very well presented and extremely tasty. The cauliflower cheese was very good, best I have had, we went as a family group and were very pleased with the food and the price is very reasonable can certainly recommend. Will definitely be going again as it is so good, well done Chef

This is the best Greggs ever! The one in March is the Greggs to go to. ๐๐ the staff are so friendly here! The tables are always spotless! They are always cleaned as soon as someone has finished at their table. We travel up from Peterborough and I'm Autistic and will only eat the kids cheese sandwiches and they are always available in this Greggs. I can only eat the soft food because I have poorly teeth. I also love the Tottenham Cake because it's soft food. Also the icing is delicious! The Peterborough Greggs does not have it. Which is one of the many reasons we travel up to March. Thank you to all the staff at Greggs in March! Wonderful and Polite every time we come in! ๐๐ Kind Regards. Ashley ๐
