The best restaurants in East of England

Came for a lunch for my partner’s birthday. We had the set lunch menu, as I had been the week previously for my mum’s birthday & the food & service were both great. However today the food was really disappointing. The tempura prawns were greasy, the steak medallions were over cooked and the French fries were undercooked. We didn’t say anything at the time as it was was busy, and we didn’t want to make a fuss. Definitely not as good an experience as when I’ve been previously.

Top full English breakfast from this lovely lively restaurant. Cannot fault it, plus a nice hotpot of tea served in traditional pot with warm jug of milk. Definitely going back soon.

Xmas lunch with our walking group - food was excellent, particularly as the restaurant was very busy. Great venue and as always, very friendly and helpful employees. Well done.

Good value for money, especially the Aperito offer. They also have a deli corner now, after they close Mercato, which was locate inside the Grafton Shopping Mall. They sell nice Italian products, some as well from Greece and Spain. While for drinking and eating is great, the deli is a bit over priced.

Good food and good service but it is usually very noisy so conversation can be difficult.
