The best restaurants in East of England

Went yesterday for a family meal and thought the food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly. The decor in the room was breathtaking too. Would definitely go again.

Great food and quick service considering there was also a large family party in the restaurant at the same time . Very good value for money. Eaten in this excellent restaurant many times before and will again.

Celebrated my mums 70th birthday with 18 of us in total the service was excellent made to feel very welcome on arrival, the food was amazing, very relaxed atmosphere, staff were amazing given the large number of us, service was not compromised at all, will definitely be back again.

Love going here and is our local pub. Great selection of beers to choose from. Also our furry friend is allowed to join. Food is easy and tasty also. They offer great deals depending on the day.

I celebrated New Year’s Eve at Mangiare and it was outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was seamless despite the busy night, and the food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and the drinks menu offered a great selection. Naty was our waitress and she did a fantastic job! A great experience overall - although I am not local, if I came back to Newmarket, I’d definitely return here!

Eaten here a few times and it’s always been delicious. Highly recommend the beef massaman curry, it’s creamy and rich and perfect!

Naturally quiet on a Tuesday night in November but relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and solid classic rock playlist! Enjoyed my Moving Mountains vegan burger ... with, umm, Stilton because I'm not a vegan ... 😋

Paula the waitress was very friendly and kind, I ordered a sausage bun and it came very quickly and was tasty thanks to the chef Shannon! Would definitely come again.

Fantasic customer service from everyone working tonight. Both the young girl and lad were brilliant! I believe even the owner came to chat and found out it was my birthday and Surprised us with some drinks lovely touch! We’ve eaten at Olive Garden many times over the years and always had a lovely meal with friendly service. This week we visited for a family birthday and one member of our party had some unusual dietary restrictions due to a health condition. The staff were very professional and patient in their approach. The chef was happy to come out and discuss the dietary needs and talk through items on the menu that could or could not be amended to meet the needs. Unfortunately, due to their health issues, the member of the party needed to leave not long after ordering. All staff involved were incredibly patient and kind in dealing with a dynamic and challenging situation and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. The food was great as always. But to receive the level of service we did is greatly appreciated and stands head and shoulders above what passes for service in many other restaurants.

Always great food and plenty of it. **However be aware that if you order online for delivery they use go-getters to deliver and the price per dish is increased substantially. Example half duck is £23.00 but online £31.00. or spicy noodles £12.00 in restaurant but over £15.00 online. This put us off ordering online as think this is just excessive and took our business elsewhere**. But would recommend restaurant
