Visited for a coffee and snack to eat waited for around fifteen minutes to get served asked for fruit scone told there was none left asked for almond slice to be told there was none of those either settled for shortbread millionaire and chocolate brownie. Coffee was tasteless could not taste coffee it was like hot watered down milk did not drink it. On leaving spoke to young girl to let her know about the coffee and she said they were changing between two different coffees and hadn’t got the strengths sorted out. Very dissatisfied

Unfortunately the afternoon tea was a little disappointing for the price you pay. I’ve experienced many different afternoon teas and if you are in the area you are much better going to Wentworth Woodhouse. The service was excellent and the staff were lovely. The tea and coffee was very good, but the food itself was disappointing.

Wine list is far too big and grossly overpriced. Bottle of Rioja Crianza is £6 in a store. They list it at £48 but actually over charged us, £52. The waitress had no idea how to remove the foil cap from the bottle so I opened it for her. Then they add a service charge!!! So a VERY ordinary bottle of red was 60 quid. More than Hambleton Hall down the road that has a Michelin star. Food is mainly bought in catering/pub standard at restaurant prices. The room is very nice but the staff are untrained & so avoid interaction with the customer. We were the 1st people in for lunch yet I had to ask to be served more than once. The worst overpriced establishment in Rutland by some distance.

the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic! best decor in northampton! service went above and beyond to cater to our needs- couldn’t have asked for more. food was amazing, i got a sirloin steak- cooked perfectly to my preference. my friend had a lamb cop shish and enjoyed it a lot. was a needed trip. cash only which limited rounds of drinks unfortunately but overall amazing.

An impressive influx of people at Breakfast club - my colleague even set the flippin tone at 10am! Well what can I say, yet another steady breakfast, a little more pricey than the young vanish but nevertheless just as tasty! I went old school with a sausage and bacon bap which was delicious! There was a few full English which is a set menu by the way! If an establishment lets you have a beer with your brekky then that’s automatically bonus points ain’t that right JH! We had a great view of the tele which we watched the first half of some boring St mirren game. This breakfast sorted us out nicely in preparation for our important match and even more important big night out! Kudos to Mary and the gang!

Just bought cod and chips from here. Batter was thick and uncooked in places…..inedible! Fish was very thin (probably why they need the thick batter) and chips were nowhere near as good as they used to be. This used to be one of the best chippies around but is now under new ownership and no where near as good. Won’t be using again 😣😣

What a shame that they do a lovely breakfast but charge £2.25 for a slice of toast We had two breakfasts x 2 toasts a coffee and tea for £27.75 Surely toast at least one slice should be offered with a breakfast For us pensioners (just pensioners) it's an expense we will just be having a coffee or tea in future Lovely staff and meeting point but totally out of order with the toast prices Opening at 9:30 is also late for us diabetics whom need to eat and don't want two breakfast and also after the school drop off not ideal as we were waiting about for it to open Please take these as positive comments but the service is not the same and their appears to be very short staffed in The kitchen area
