If you eat here you will be transported to China! What an absolute gem of a place, this is real authentic Chinese street food! Absolutely delicious! I had the chef special and I especially enjoyed the crispy pork. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu!

Worst behaviour of staff don’t deserve one star also

I recently visited Jamel's Lebanese Food whilst out, and was impressed with the service by the staff. The staff were friendly, approachable and welcoming. There's a range of different Lebanese delicacies which you can choose from. The restaurant is quite cosy. There's lots of lovely art displayed, and even a mini library so you can have some food and drink whilst reading a book. It's a lovely restaurant and I recommend trying it out if you want to try something different.

We booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday night. The restaurant itself is really cute, the interior is very nicely decorated and they even have some outdoor tables. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The menu is limited which we quite liked. For starters we had the shrimp which we were really impressed with and then the bacon wrapped figs, these were a little underwhelming. For main we all had the crab pasta, the portion was a generous size, there was a good amount of crab and you could taste that the pasta was homemade. We were too stuffed for dessert! I’d say that it was all very delicious, my only drawback would be the prices of the pasta dishes. Overall, it was lovely and would recommend a treat and homemade pasta!

I’ve been wanting to try something new for a while and I saw this place and I decided to give it a try The food was lovely the lamb was perfect and tender and the lady young lady at the counter today was lovely and had a great work ethic she was very patient with my order since I wasn’t to sure what to try and I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Hi everyone most of you will probs know me but worked at the hideaway for a few months now and couldn’t say how much I love it as a job great venue and great customer love ever bit of my job and it’s a great environment to be in and also the manger is great and thanks to everyone that comes in 😀

Popped in for drinks Friday evening, totally amazed will be going back ASAP

The place has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful décor. I had the Sunday roast and opted for the beef, which was tender, juicy, and delicious. They also offer lamb, chicken, pork, and a vegetarian option. The vegetables were excellent – I especially loved the spring onions! The service was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. For dessert, I tried the sticky toffee pudding, which was incredibly soft and tasty, and the lemon tart, which was the perfect finish.

What an amazing Friday night I had at the restaurant. Totally not what I expected. Lovely restaurant and we couldn’t fault any of meals we had, the food was amazing. The owner singer made the night. His voice was great and really created a lovely atmosphere. Service was also amazing. Best place I have been in Northampton for a long time.

Fantastic breakfasts. Quality ingredients and properly cooked. Cake to absolutely die for. Highly recommended!

Exceptional service from Charlie's on the hill, big thanks to both Charlie and Deborah who supplied the sandwich platters for our dad's wake. They also delivered to the venue which saved us a lot of stress on a difficult day for us. Sandwiches exceeded our expectations being very fresh and plenty of varied fillings which suited vegetarian guests also. Very good value for money, would certainly recommend.
