Love these lounges, we go to the one at Fosse Park Leicester and the one in Hinckley regularly. This one is similar and doesn't disappoint. Good atmosphere, food and drinks. Plenty of seating, much bigger than it looks when you get inside. Definitely one to include on the pub crawl!

This was a really lovely little place to have morning coffee, we had done a lot of travelling this day, stopped off in Lutterworth & superb morning coffee & cake was on offer here. The staff were so nice & very very friendly.

Can't fault it in any way! Vegetarian option not run of the mill veggie. Excellent! Update 7 August 2024. Delighted to say the Chandlers is still excellent. Thank goodness we live within 15 minutes drive. October 2024. Can't fault the Chandlers, if you haven't been you need to go. Thanks to all the friendly staff for the lovely atmosphere.

Wow! What an amazing roast we had. The service was second to none too, Ben in particular was great, who we now know had only been there a few days. He did amazing. Since the new manager and staff took over it really had improved ten fold. They we all so accommodating with me taking the pram in too made sure we had enough space and were all comfortable. And the food itself was yummy, best roast dinner I have had out in a long time so tasty and great portions too. We will 100% be back.

Many of my friends have raved about this restaurant and we had never been. So after realising it was closing, we just had to book. It was not what we expected - bright lights and bare tables. Not our thing. The arrival greeting was ok but not special and no explanation or interest in us as 1st timers. The food was good and very tasty but it was expected at the price. The wine choice was a different matter. We order one red and one white, not cheap. The white wine arrived by a very young waiter who poured the wine with no option to taste and it was NOT cold. Unbelievable! When asked why it was not cold he said there was ice in the ice bucket. Not a good start to the meal, The waitress leaned over me every time to serve my friend and they didn’t offer new cutlery for each course. Maybe they have lost interest now it’s closing, very sad as we had heard such excellent reviews.

My family and I came for Mother’s Day and we were all really disappointed by our experience. There were actually too many negative points to mention but I’ll summarise. Our party of eight were separated across two tables. The tables were dirty when seated. Really limited menu for Mother’s Day. Plates weren’t taken away before mains came out. Weren’t offered any more drinks after starters came out. Service became so slow and the food so disappointing we left before desserts. The food itself was really disappointing, lacking any flavour and imagination, the meat was obviously not cooked fresh and I was embarrassed for the chef who made it. I felt incredibly sad and upset for the young lad waiting the tables. He didn’t look flustered at all and did his job incredibly well despite zero support from management. I wish I was that confident and capable at his age. The management should be ashamed of themselves for using him as a front to shield themselves from genuine criticism and appalling management. He barely looked like a teenager and yet waited on at least 8 tables by himself on a busy day. It’s truly shameful from management to put that amount of pressure on someone so young and yet he carried himself so well, a credit to himself. Should be noted that he is at no fault at all for the negative service. I understand that it’s recently been taken on by new management and quite clearly this isn’t the venture for them. Such a shame as we came for Mother’s Day a couple of year ago and were delighted with it. I also suspect that the management’s responses to negative reviews were written with AI so I hope that they take the recent poor reviews more seriously.

We had Sunday lunch and it was so nice, the first in ages, where the price matches the quality. Great Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes which I feel are the main event no matter what meat ha ha, cauliflower cheese was amazing, just all lovely and service was great too

Lovely atmosphere and setting. Went for Sunday lunch. At £34 for three courses, we thought it very good value for money. All the starters looked very tasty. W both had beetroot with smoked salmon was delicious. The roast beef was tender and succulent, accompanied by a lovely selection of winter vegetable. Both desserts were great. The service was excellent
