We stayed here as a group of four friends and had drinks, dinner and Bed+Breakfast. The rooms were lovely - spotless, comfortable and well-thought out. The bar staff were welcoming and helpful, the restaurant team were fantastic. Food, drinks and service were 10/10 - thank you for a lovely stay.

Chicken was abit hard! Curry was nice and tikka sizzle was absolutely delicious! Service was amazing was really quick bringing the food out. Chelle was really pleasant. Really friendly excellent customer service with a big smile on her face! A better experience since the last time we went where there was loads of flies!!!

I’ve known this lovely place for almost 50 years and celebrated many special occasions within its walls, the last being a significant birthday 2 years ago, the chef provided us all with a feast. Having eaten there again recently I wish that chef was still there her food was amazing. Shame and the young children were a bit noisy too.

We visited Market Harborough for the first time today and there were a plethora of coffee shops and the usual high street chains from which to choose. We found this gem down a little alleyway and what a find! A lovely little coffee shop with great food options and pots of tea and cafetières of coffee. It was cosy and busy with friendly service. I would definitely recommend and return.

This was a really lovely little place to have morning coffee, we had done a lot of travelling this day, stopped off in Lutterworth & superb morning coffee & cake was on offer here. The staff were so nice & very very friendly.

Many of my friends have raved about this restaurant and we had never been. So after realising it was closing, we just had to book. It was not what we expected - bright lights and bare tables. Not our thing. The arrival greeting was ok but not special and no explanation or interest in us as 1st timers. The food was good and very tasty but it was expected at the price. The wine choice was a different matter. We order one red and one white, not cheap. The white wine arrived by a very young waiter who poured the wine with no option to taste and it was NOT cold. Unbelievable! When asked why it was not cold he said there was ice in the ice bucket. Not a good start to the meal, The waitress leaned over me every time to serve my friend and they didn’t offer new cutlery for each course. Maybe they have lost interest now it’s closing, very sad as we had heard such excellent reviews.

Hadn’t booked but called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch, found us a table for the two of us in the lounge by the window which was perfect. Homemade broccoli and Stilton soup to start was delicious, followed by Sunday lunch (pork) which was equally good. Big portion. Service great. All in all, definitely recommend.
