Stunning food served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a bit of a hidden gem within Market Harborough, well known within the town for offering very high quality food at great value. There were five of us eating from the Christmas menu and not one dish was anything less than perfect. Over lunch they only have one sitting and so service is relaxed but attentive; we stayed for over two hours enjoying three courses. Sublime. Booking advised though.

Amazing lunch at the Yard, really lovely space and incredible food and coffee!! Great menu and specials Only a few minutes off the M1 and a million times nicer than a stop at the services, would really reccomend! Lovely friendly staff and great value Editing to add, got a brownie to takeaway for the rest of the drive, and it was the best brownie I've ever had, and I've had a lot of brownies, wish we'd brought more cakes now!

Great Bowden is a great place to visit on a dog walk, shame that Bowden Stores isn’t. Food was okay, if not a little basic. Service was slow and the prices are on the higher side, but this is probably to make up profits for the lack of seating. There are several better places to go for a light bite or coffee if you’re in the greater Market Harborough area, most of which won’t make you stand by the door or sit in the rain if you have a four-legged friend.

Superb quality food with a very modern presentation but with amazing old fashioned flavours that reminded me of my Yorkshire Nanas ones . Deserts were also on point great Sunday lunch venue in a very Harry Potter esque beautiful old fashioned village . Staff could not do enough and squeezed us in for a late and last minute dinner . The photos I saw when looking for somewhere to eat were spot on too .

A great find, Splendid food with generous portions. Extensive menu with tempting specials. Will be back. Unfortunately did go back with family a few months later on a Saturday night. couldn't have been a more different experience. Waiting time for food was outrageous. Food was a shocking standard for the price, at no time were we asked how our food was by serving staff. make no mistake this establishment was not full and more than enough staff were working. I have no clue how a place can be so different on a second visit. worse of all was the fact we had family members from out of town with us, it was embarrassing. "Have now revised my stars for this review"

We have been here a few times now and the staff are always so professional and friendly, one young lad on the front (unfortunately I forgot his name) always seems upbeat and happy to be at work. The chips are great quality and excellent value for money and the food is consistently good throughout the week. Highly recommend going here and it’s so nice to actually find a decent chip shop locally again.

Great little coffee shop. Wonderful selection of homemade cakes that change regularly. Some interesting menu choices…. Scrambled eggs with cheese and chorizo. Cheese and marmite on toast are the kind of comfort foods that help this place stand out from the crowd. Along with the usual Faye you would expect to find on a varied menu. Service is friendly and attentive. I’d urge anyone looking for a break from walking/shopping/browsing to pop in but I fear this would make getting a table even harder!
