I had a very nice ploughman's lunch and the staff were all charming.

Fab fab fab!!! Love this place, it's not local to us unfortunately as I would be there more often!! Fantastic farm fare , excellent choice throughout. Cafe !!?? What's not to like!!

Went here with family and had a lovely meal. Lincolnshire poacher cheese and balsamic onion quiche with salad and paprika wedges. Absolutely delicious, followed by an orange and poppy seed cake, so light and fluffy, very moreish. All home made. Lovely hot coffee to finish.

Food is a little pricey for what you get, however it was tasty. My coffee was served but had cooled down and was finished by the time my food arrived, which was a shame as I'd prefer my drink with my meal. I had what is supposed to be a smashed burger. These are meant to be heavily squashed or smashed onto the griddle to create an ultra thin and caramelised burger, my burger had none of these characteristics. Overall it was nice however a little misleading.

Very nice place. Excellent selection of fresh fruit, veg and meats all of which are fresh from the farm. The restaurant is also excellent. Good prompt service and very tasty food from the menu. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area.

This place is a real favourite and we always stop for coffee and cake after doing a bit of shopping!

Such a fabulous place. Delicious food at all times of the day. Brilliant service and a great atmosphere. You can't book, so you may have to queue at busy times, but the wait is worth it! Very highly recommended.

Popped in for afternoon tea after a particularly bad day. Staff were lovely and food and service wonderful

Called in for breakfast and it was pretty good. Great tasting produce well cooked. FOH were as professional as ever. The only downside was the beans were cold but this was rectified quickly and did not spoil the visit plus we had and extra coffee and black pudding taken off the bill which was a nice gesture. Oh and the black pudding is awesome 😎. Perhaps chef could serve breakfast on warm plates as cooked breakfast does cool fairly quickly. Will deffo go on again .

Myself, partner and 14month old arrived for breakfast as a treat as we hadn’t been for 7/8 months. We were sat down quite quickly but getting served for drinks and food was another 20 mins, only to be served with the most awful attitude, little comments about everything as well as the looks she was giving my child when he was getting upset. Both of us had farmers breakfasts with black pudding and extra scrambled egg which were so disappointing, toast was cremated, black pudding was forgotten and hash brown was also forgotten on my partners plate. Once again we couldn’t see anyone to let them know, by the time we had the chance to mention anything our food would have been cold. When we let them know she sighed and said “oh really” like she didn’t believe anything we were saying. Getting the bill they tried to charge us for the black pudding and a child’s meal which neither we had. The main lady who served us was appalling no sorry or correcting herself, she asked for someone else to deal with us. It’s so sad how downhill it’s gone, I used to love coming here for breakfast and having lovely service. I really hope it gets back to how it used to be.

Utter shambles of a place. Arrived at 11:30 am for breakfast (which is served until 12:00 - according to their menu and website), only to be told that we can't order from the breakfast menu because they have to prepare for their lunch menu. Ok. No probs, we'll order lunch then..... or so we thought! Sat for 20 minutes waiting to have our food order taken. Eventually we managed to attract the attention of table staff, only to be told that we actually had to wait until 12:00 - as they can't take lunch orders before then because the kitchen isn't ready yet?? Errrrrrm. You what? When we pointed out that the system is floored - as there's a 30-40 minute window when apparently NOTHING can be ordered - we were arrogantly told that "we can't change the process". A wasted trip for us then - and until someone with half a business brain realises that this *ahem* 'system' is ridiculous - we won't be returning.

Lovely warm and friendly place to have lunch. The savoury afternoon tea is fantastic too!

Came here for the first time at the weekend, and got the full english as recommended, and it did not disappoint. A lovely farm shop and attached restaurant, busy, but well spaced so didn't feel cramped. Lots of blue badge spaces at the entrance, which was good, and feel confident that if I were needing to use a chair, I'd be well accomodated within the restaurant. Getting round the farm shop was also easy, with plenty of space to be able to get around, and whilst it was busy, it didn't feel stressful. Some really nice things all round!

Nice place, good lunch as always

Went for lunch - decent plate of fish and chips with an equally decent pudding. The other food choices linked OK too, and ir was as usual busy.

Great place, it's expanded considerably since the early days, service was excellent.

My first time here and we were very well looked after. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the open fish finger sandwich which was made from lovely big goujons of fish and was absolutely delicious, as were the accompanying chips. My tea came in a large pot so I got 2.5 cups of.tea which is great value. Overall a great visit and I will certainly be visiting again.

Bad attitude, poor service. Didn't care that they made mistakes, no apology, food missing. Just awful service. Burgers tasted good when we finally got them.

My first ever visit and an excellent experience, with top service from the staff. Apple pie and custard will now be a firm favourite!

Expensive but a good farm shop. Restaurant has weird sandwiches if ur posh I suppose. Nothing like a ham or cheese salad sandwich. Had burger in hard bun topped with chutney 🤢. Rather tasteless and greasy (zero seasoning) I'm afraid. Dry chips too and small salad covered with honey mustard dressing (does anyone really like it!) Other dish was sausages (sloppy no taste) and reheated sloppy mash. Shame

Great great value for your money

Great food in the restaurant, very reasonably priced. The shop has some amazing fresh produce as well as some exceptional luxury goodies.

The food was really nice, but the service was so slow that I had to get the waiters' attention for everything. We needed space for a pushchair, and the reaction from the waitress ( not sure of her name as name badge was smudged) was so rude!!!

It's very pricey for what you get. Not great portions and at nearly £13 for a bit of bacon and sausages it's not worth it. Staff were very nice.

Fantastic place, food, and staff are absolutely wonderful. It was so good when we stopped for breakfast on the way to Yorkshire that we stopped for late lunch again on the way home. The farm shop is also stuffed with tasty goodies to take home too. There is plenty of parking space too. The staff are very friendly, and really make your visit a very enjoyable one.

Excellent range of quality fresh food options. Lovely cafe serving breakfast, coffee, lunch and cake options. Has become a little expensive of late. Good seating options inside and outside. Clean facilities.

Service was so poor today. Got 3 orders wrong on our table. Food was not that hot. Very disappointed as normally very good. Never checked back on us. I wanted to order more drinks but nobody came near us.

Stopped for cake and coffee on our bike ride. Staff arranged for bikes to be taken to se ure area. Cafe was excellent, and the farm shop stocked with everything we needed. It's a real gem of a place and thoroughly recommends it.

Brilliant customer service today, we had afternoon tea which was amazing, the staff were attentive and when one of our party became Ill just before they closed they couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding, especially one lady member of staff who provided ice and water and eventually a wheelchair. Thank you 😊

Food was delicious although couldn't have my first choice as they're changing the menu tomorrow so had run out of it. Looking forward to seeing the new menu

A really nice place for a lunch

Sadly the past few times I’ve visited I have felt rushed - the waitresses are very quick to say that they are closing at 4pm (even though we turn up way before then for a quick drink) and they then race to us with bill before we have even taken a sip of our drinks. Not really welcoming and a real shame as it’s such a lovely restaurant!

Did not find staff friendly or welcoming. Rushed to get drinks order then had to wait sometime for food order to be taken. Vegan option for breakfast very limited and didn't look appealing. Considering lovely looking vegetables etc in shop this was disappointing. Sausages in Farmers Breakfast were not what I expected chipolatas rather than proper sausages. Poached eggs were also disappointing. It wasn't clear if we should ask for the bill or go to the counter....we eventually asked. Staff again not friendly or engaging.

Always great food; indoor and outdoor seating. Table service. Booking is advisable as it can get busy. Dog friendly outside.

Nice little farm shop, excellent cafe, little garden centre and gift shop with supermarket. Great for treats.

Went for coffee and scones for my sister's birthday, they didn't mind waiting for everyone to arrive. Service was quick and food great.

We have been here having breakfast. They hadn't too many options of breakfast but everything was really tasty. The staff working here is so kind and professional. Service was quick we didn't had to wait long.

Great food, quality ingredients, Butcher has everything, fresh and top quality. Best go to Farm shop around.

Went for afternoon tea at the weekend. Was busy but only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table as there were 7 of us. Food was delicious, would definitely recommend

An excellent and popular restaurant adjoining a wonderful shop that deals in fresh produce, interesting confectionery, and amazing preserves.

Yet again another lovely visit, highly recommend.

Chris our waiter, went out of his way to look after us on our mother's 87th birthday lunch. The food was good - as always! And needless to say, the walk through the shop area was too much to resist the tasty fresh fare.

Had the full farm breakfast it was all very nice well cooked but fried egg was over cooked not worth the £13 Staff are always polite and helpful

Disappointed to get here, after checking it was dog friendly, to be told it is not. The produce in the shop and the items on the menu look very nice but, on this occasion, we were unable to test them.

Lovely brunch menu, food and drinks were great, but can be very busy, especially for larger groups. Book in advance!

Lovely warm atmosphere very friendly welcoming staff, plenty of options for all, well versed for dietary needs! Disabled friendly for seating but can't say about toilets at the cafe. The farm shop is wonderful, lots of fresh delicious produce that I couldn't resist purchasing some of and it tasted just as amazing as it looked, juicy fruits and Lovely veg. There's lots to peruse through here just as you would expect from a farm shop from the fresh produce to little home nick nacks.

Food was good that we had in the restaurant but a little disappointed with the two small cheesecakes I purchased to take home. One lemon, one raspberry. Both had lovely chocolate decorations on top. Both were placed in one card box to transport home. I put them flat on the back seat of the car so they weren't in the shopping bag in the boot. When I opened them up the lids had crushed the decorations, breaking them and pushing them down into the cheesecake. It ruined the whole effect. Tasted lovely but looked awful. Why can't they put them in slightly taller boxes or dismantle the decoration so it can be rebuilt when home?

Beautiful chicken & stuffing sandwiches on mixed grain bread with crisps & salad. Coffee was not very hot & friend's tea was luke warm by the time her tealeaves had brewed. Good seating & service, a fresh, hot, teabag tea was brought to replace lukewarm tea.

Just had Coffee. We were asked at the entrance if we had booked. Cafe was fairly empty so was surprised to be asked that question. Came across as a barrier! for our custom. It was a Wednesday mid morning traditionally a quieter day in Market Harborough. They perhaps should keep seats free for casual users. Coffee was good.

Just love popping in here for afternoon tea and great place to have a browse before snacking on the fresh produce and trying to sneak out without buying anything calorific! Well situated, big car park and best looking veg around!
