Nossa Restaurant in Harborough

Fabulous Sunday lunch today in Nossa. Amazed it was full. It should be! Scallops were perfect, all mains were great. Delicious light deserts. Wonderful!

We recently used Nossa for a ladies morning networking event. The team were very flexible and accommodating, providing a wonderful selection of cakes, tea and coffee. Everyone was very impressed with the venue and the service. We will all be returning!

Family celebration and the food was delicious - they kindly decorated the table including balloons and communication booking the table was easy and straightforward, have dined here before and the quality of food and how it is presented has kept to the high standards we had previously experienced, book it you won’t be disappointed!

A warm and welcoming atmosphere, with attentive staff and lovely food. We've found the desserts and cocktails are particularly good and the welcome is second to none. It's a bit of a hidden gem - if you don't know the area, do plan ahead for parking, there are a few public car parks in easy walking distance, parking on the road outside the restaurant is limited.

The food here was fantastic I was really impressed. Unfortunately they didn’t have the Lamb dish so I had the waygu burger which was beautifully cooked juicy and delicious. Lovely glass of wine as well. The bread and butter pudding was gorgeous. The waitress was really friendly. Prices were reasonable and loved that the menu was carefully done with a few great dishes. We all thought the food was very good Would only say that they missed out by not asking if we wanted more drinks or coffee after our meal. Will definitely revisit and would recommend

I had a sunday roast and i was not dissappointed i picked the lamb roast and i was amazed at how much flavour the food had a combination of ratatouille on the top with a lovely creamed leak on the base this combination was exquisite following this the triple cooked roast potatoes where nice and crispy and the cauiliflower cheese was very tasty the chef adam really outdone himself even making a personal appearance to make sure my food was satisfactory i would highly reccomend this place for a nice sunday day out

First time dining here despite being local. What a superb experience; from the service to the quality of the food! Professional, helpful waiting staff (Saskia) and a visit to our table from the owner who was most charming. A small intimate restaurant that really packs a punch with its cuisine. Had a family celebration dinner at Nossa. Friendly attentive service. The menu is extensive and our party of seven all enjoyed their starters, mains and desserts. An excellent restaurant for all occasions and I thoroughly recommend it. Although it was all super, we thought the curried vegetable soup and the scallops were the star starters. The fish and belly pork mains were excellent and our favorite puddings were the sticky toffee and the lemon posset.

Harborough isn’t known for great restaurants so I welcome Nossa, which was exceptional when I visited on a Saturday night. The food was fresh and delicious, beautifully presented. The service was very good, with lots of staff and good attention to detail. Both the manager and the chef came to check on whether we were enjoying ourselves and I felt truly welcome. The menu was so varied and tempting, it was painful choosing what to have, so I plan to visit frequently to sample more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nossa - it offers a high end dining experience for very reasonable prices.

We found this restaurant online for a birthday celebration for my mum. And when we arrived the table was decorated and waiting. Making mum mum feel so welcomed. The food was fantastic, it surpassed my expectations. And the service and welcoming atmosphere made this an easy five stars, in a review I feel well deserved. We will be back!

9 of us went for an evening meal. We informed the restaurant of a birthday in the group and arrived a single half inflated balloon on the table. Ordered the Malbec from the very limited wine list. We were told because someone ordered 3 bottles there was none left. Ordered the Shiraz to be presented with a bottle of ‘Jam Shed’ which anyone with limited knowledge of wine will know is a very cheap supermarket wine. This was returned and we went for the only other red left on the menu, a very poor screw top Merlot. We also found we had to poor our own wine all night which you wouldn’t expect in what was supposed to be an upmarket restaurant. Upon reviewing the menu, it was obvious it didn’t reflect what was on the website. We had a gluten intolerant friend with us which meant he had very limited choice. I ordered the scallops which were ok and had the lamb for the main course which was quite flavourless and uninspiring. My wife had the steak which was quite tough. We requested the desert menu to be informed the chef had already gone home. In spite of the above we were still hit with a £30 service charge which we informed the staff we weren’t happy to pay. We were told we HAD to pay it which was quite alarming given the service charge wasn’t displayed anywhere on the menu or website, nor is a legal requirement to pay it. Eventually this was removed from the bill after a very awkward conversation with our waiter. Overall a very poor experience

My wife and I decided to check out Nossa for our 21st Wedding Anniversary based on reviews and recommendations, we were not disappointed from the get go, welcomed warmly by Josh with a glass of Prosecco to start our lunch and celebrate said anniversary. Starters of Scallops with Apple, Parsnip & Sage + Blue Cheese, Poached Pear and candied walnuts (WOW!), mains of Grass fed Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection by Chef Tim and the best Belly of Pork I have ever tasted (yes really), perfect crackling and melt in the mouth meat, paired beautifully with new potates, cabbage and an amazing sauce. A hidden gem off the main high street, but worth the small walk for big flavours and warm hospitality. We will be back again, thank you Josh and Tim.

Our family recently dined at Nossa Restaurant in Market Harborough, a perfect halfway meeting point. We loved the seabass on chive mash, cod loin, and pork loin. The high-quality, delicious food exceeded our expectations, and the attentive staff ensured our gathering was special. The desserts are highly recommended, especially the indulgent triple chocolate brownie. Paul, our blond host, was really friendly and welcoming, as was the entire team. The atmosphere was lovely, making the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely return.

We met friends there, small restaurant up a side street, Hmmm could be a bit dodgy. But no this is a gem of a place. Four of us had a great meal at a reasonable cost that would have been twice the price at a fancy location. New Manageress and chef working their socks off to please customers, high quality ingredients, great cooking, presentation and service, what not to like. Just wished I lived near there to go again. They deserve to succeed, go there and you will not be disappointed.

Spent a quiet Saturday lunch time at this lovely restaurant - excellent quality food, attentive service. All that's required is a few more fellow customers to add to the atmosphere. Few restaurants have such a refined music soundtrack - a favourite Ella Fitzgerald track came on an made my day!

Came across this restaurant through social network advertising,it looked very tempting, so we decided to visit. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the waitress and shown to our table, we then received a personal welcome from a general manager Fernando telling us all about the restaurant. The food was amazing (we went on Sunday so we had Sunday roast), everything cooked to perfection. Very attentive staff, really enjoyed it and will be back soon.

We traveled from London to try this restaurant as we heard it recommended from several of our friends. I don't usually write reviews but this time I just had to give my appreciation for such a pleasant experience. This place is ticking all the boxes! The food here always amazes me. Had a lovely time with my friends. You should definitely try the Pana Cotta here.

Having visited for a dinner previously, we decided to pop in for a lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! There were a few new exciting dishes on offer (vegetarian meatballs being one of them!) and plenty of choice. It was difficult to choose but I went for a traditional fish and chips. It was a beautiful bit of fish and I would definitely have it again! We felt well looked after by the staff and it was a lovely lunch. Will definitely be returning! Thank you once again Nossa!!

Having returned for a second visit since our previous visit last November, we were obviously very keen to see whether Fernando and his friendly and attentive front of house team were still dishing out the 5* Customer experience, underpinned by some wonderfully tasting and innovative dining cuisine. Have no fear, nothing has changed, maybe if anything, the menu and wine options have actually grown in range and temptation. So yes, the return visit was very much a great success, and now Nossa has become our new ‘go to’ restaurant in Market Harborough. Enough said.

Very friendly and helpful restaurant with superb food. I am on a special diet and was very restricted with what I could eat, but they went out of their way to create very delicious dishes for me. My friend can eat what she likes and she absolutely loved her dishes too. The owner and wait staff are cheerful and friendly. We would definitely go back again

We had a big family lunch and had the upstairs restaurant which was perfect for a big group . The food and service was marvellous. It was that good we are having the room again this weekend with close friends who are coming up from London .

Worst meal out we have had for a long time. - Poor service - Bland food - Unknowledgeable disinterested staff - Kept waiting for ages arrived early for our 7.30 table, didn’t get main course until 9.30 and they shut at 10.00.

The restaurant experience was excellent from start to finish, complemented by very attentive and welcoming staff and outstanding wholesome fare. I loved the panacotta which was not the pan-o-concrete I once attempted to eat at Malmaison, Oxford and was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Thank you.

We went there to celebrate my son’s birthday. From the outset there was a warm welcome, with great food and service all the way through the meal. You can tell the chef cares about what diners think of the food because he came out personally and asked all the guests. He even took the time to talk about the ingredients for one of the dishes my daughter asked about. Fernando and his team looked after us and we will certainly be revisiting.

Can't fault a single thing, the food was lovely and appropriately portioned, flavours were fresh and the presentation was clean. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This restaurant hasn’t been there for so many years yet. But they are doing an excellent job! I loved the ambiance. They already started with Christmas decorations. And the three courses were incredible. The creamy carrot coriander soup for starters was perfect for the rainy day. The homebaked bread is truly a 10 of 10. The rosemary, slightly oily oven warm bread was my first culinary highlight. The wine we got was really reasonably priced and went down easily that we nearly didn’t recognise how the two bottles were gone through the evening. Then came the main dish. I must recommend the Tomohawk steak. We shared it with 4 people and it was so, so good (1.3 kg they said and we couldn’t finish it). Medium, juicy and the flavour of the meat was something else. They didn’t cover the original meat taste with spices but somehow brought the taste of the meat out of it in a really powerful way. Still the French peppercorn sauce (a personal favourite) is a beautifully matching addition to the steak even though you could eat it without sauce as well. Since we shared that huge steak together I ordered a vegetable dish as my main. Wow, that looked beautiful. I don’t know how they arranged it. But the colours and different textures on your plate were marvellous. Dried mushrooms, tasty beetroot potato salad, roasted mushrooms and I could go on. I was really happy with that meal in combination with the big Tomohawk steak. The chips were homemade and you could feel it. Also the cheese cake is highly recommended. Being from Germany I am used to high quality cheesecakes. This one was particularly outstanding for the set up of creamy, naturally fresh cake and then the raw and sweet honeycomb pieces on top. The cheese cake felt very light and healthy which was combined with a naturally explosive strawberry sauce. Smooth vanilla ice cream at the side made an extravagant finish of this inspiring desert and evening. Well done Nossa, it was a great time with friends. And I love to come again. Secret Menu - Tomahawk Steak - Comes Highly Recommended! It's been a quiet evening so we, a party of four, have had full attention of everyone of the wonderful and friendly staff. The beautifully arranged dishes, not something that we usually see in many restaurants these days, were not only pleasing to the eye but also very delicious. The huge Tomahawk steak was a sight to behold, succulent and with a couple of tasty sauces - it didn't feature on the menu but came highly recommended and was the party piece of the evening. I understand that the menu changes from time to time, so it is worth to revisit the restaurant occasionally and to let the team at Nossa surprise and spoil you with their new creations. Thanks to the Nossa Team for giving us an evening to remember!

The Sunday lunch was cooked perfectly, looked and tasted amazing. There was plenty of variety on the plate and the vegetables were cooked exactly how I like them. An utterly inspiring cuisine delight.…….. Having visited the Nossa restaurant in Market Harborough for the very first time last night, I still can’t decide whether to display a smug facial expression of huge satisfaction that we choose a local establishment with such amazing food and a wonderful varied selection of fine wines, prepared and served by very attentive, efficient and passionate staff in a most relaxed and welcoming environment, or be totally annoyed with myself that it has taken so long to realise that there was such a fantastic and inspiring ‘eatery goldmine’ right on my local doorstep, that I foolishly had not experienced before. For someone who loves his steaks, the ‘Steak Aux Trios Poivres’ sirloin steak topped with three peppercorn sauce, was cooked to ‘medium/rare’ perfection, and was by far the best steak I have eaten for a very long time, and only part rivalled by the Cornish Seafood Chowder starter that proved to be a total gastronomical delight. My wife usually struggles to finish any chosen course whenever we visit a restaurant, but on this occasion completely demolished her deliciously looking selections of Steak Pica Pau, Hen Breast Wrapped in Parma Ham and Honeycomb Cheesecake. This was most definitely a great evening of experiencing such wonderfully creative and passionately prepared cuisine delights, and yes without doubt, we will be returning real soon.
