Excellent, good food, good rooms, good staff, my first choice in that area

Warm welcome on arrival with great staff always happy to help, I know that is their job, but they show that they want to help. The food is amazing. The choice of drinks is great and the pints are always perfect, crisp and clean. Very refreshing.

The room, food and service were all fantastic and we'd happily return. We had dinner and breakfast here - the full English was particularly good! It's a fair drive into Market Harborough but local taxis were happy to take us both ways.

Went for lunch to this lovely place: well decorated, well run by a friendly team, food was great! I would definitely go again!

Stayed here for 1 night. Room was very good. Had a evening meal which was excellent and the same for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and polite. Will be staying again.

A really lovely English pub/inn that feels luxurious and has that air of quality about it. Great staff, the restaurant looks amazing.

We went for Sunday lunch at the start of March as a group of 6 adults and 1 toddler. We were seated for around half an hour without any menu’s being given, which is surprising considering we were sat in front of the bar. we asked and the response was a simple ‘yeah they’ll be with you soon’. The wait for food was even longer and I wouldn’t of minded if it was of it’s usual quality but the lamb was dry and tough and seemed like it had been sitting under a hot plate for a while before being served to us. It’s a shame because I’ve been going to the white horse at Stoke Albany for over 5 years, solely for the food, but I feel the quality has gone downhill. I can put up with a slow service if the food is worth the money but nearly 2 hours for one plate of pretty average food I feel needs sharing.

We had dinner here midweek. Food is wonderful. A little pricey, but worth it.

I'd heard good things about the White Horse and wasn't disappointed one bit! A really tasty lunch, in a lovely atmosphere/environment. Our large group was no problem at all, everything was prompt and we still had a varied range of course choices. Definitely will be visiting again and recommending to family/friends!

We visited The White Horse Inn for lunch on Friday and were incredibly impressed! The service from the bar staff on first arriving and the waitresses attending to us was impeccable, being extremely attentive and polite throughout our meal. The choice of menu was very good and the meal itself was absolutely delicious, so much so that I had to order a sweet, when normally I would be have been happy to settle for two courses! Will definitely be revisiting soon and will be recommending to family and friends.Thank you all for such a lovely lunch!!

When we arrived the staff noticed us and continued to play on their mobile for 2-3 minutes. We waited patiently at the bar to be told the pub was booked for food (I hadn't asked for any) and the place was virtually empty. After going out the back she confirmed there was no room at the inn! We weren't offered to book at a future date or asked if we wanted a drink. If your nose is less than a 34 degree angle or you don't have 6 fingers probably drive on past to Rockingham, Hallaton or Great Bowden where there is good food for everyone.

Went today for a meal with my partner and my dad, food is amazing and the belly pork is the best I have ever had, thanks Mark and Jane , cannot recommend this place highly enough

I have to change the add to this review after I read trip advisor it gave me the impression that you let well behave dogs which mine is always on my hand and very well behave but I tried to come in today and was told by the owner you do not take dogs that's fine as I will not use the restaurant again.

Spotless little pub in beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff and excellent service. Had club sandwich with fries and dressed salad - a huge plateful and it was delicious. Lovely waitress greeted us as we sat down and was attentive but not intrusive. Totally recommend. Cant wait to go back.

Food was excellent, no wait time and came out quicker than expected. It was steak night and the rump was cooked perfectly to my liking! Glass of wine aswell and it was a brilliant meal.

Perfect accommodation with car in Middle England

Lovely stay, rooms very clean and recently updated. Bed very comfortable, lovely linen. Special feature of shower gel and hand wash all made in uk. Breakfast beautifully presented and delicious. Definitely will be returning as want to have dinner. Staff extremely attentive and friendly

Visited for lunch after doing some ancestry at St Botolphs Church. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We had scampi, skin on fries, peas and tartare sauce. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. Dogs not allowed inside but we were offered water for her and she was made to feel welcome too. It's so very clean and tidy and some of it is undercover, which is handy because there was an utter downpour whilst we were there. It looks like it's been recently slabbed and was a really nice place to sit and eat. If we visit Stoke Albany again, will definitely return. Thankyou

Food ok, no where near the standard it was offering a few months ago, however the biggest problem is the staff. Inexperienced waitress and a very abrupt lady serving behind the bar. A much looked forward to meal out ruined. Will not be returning.

We visited the white Horse for Sunday lunch . We have eaten here on many occasions because we know the food is excellent.

Absolutely delightful to stay here. The rooms seem to be all newly upgraded and renovated, and they are very comfortable. The restaurant/pub is relaxed, cosy, and again, comfortable. The staff made the stay my main reason I want to come back - excellent service! They were kind, lovely, and personable. A great stay!

Booked a table with ease at this lovely pub. We were in the newly refurbished dining room on New years day. The decor was beautiful with the stunning chairs and layout. The food was excellent and the hospitality was perfect. Would highly recommend a visit. We will be back for sure when next in the area. Real gem and have told friends and family they have to try here! Keep up the great work! 👍☺️

Classy pub with dining. Area for dogs and good seating outside. Can get busy so you might need to book a table. Prices to match, so don't expect a cheap beer price but a good range of beers.

This place is getting worse. Was part of a table of 14. The meals came out over a 45 min period and took over an hour. Wasnt even that busy. Ran out of alot of the menu. The chairs are filthy and covered in stains....
