Food cold, ciabatta stale and not toasted. Manager non apologetic, almost rude !!

Very busy place had to wait to be seated seemed like forever .. I had the deep fried chicken the main part of the dish the chicken was over cooked and consequently made it very dry .. and £3.50 for a small bottle of diet coke a bit steep to say the least ..

Yet again no Prosecco….. New Years Eve. Toilets bogging!!!! Close the place for a refurb, and get staff that can pre order enough fluids…

This place is currently really good in its category. Family friendly, with a big children's book shelf and a chest full of crayons and stuff, many couples having a romantic dinner out, friends celebrating and plenty of friendly staff always helpful. My kids enjoyed all their food and i managed to read two books to my 4 years old daughter, my wife enjoyed her favourite cocktail and I could find a cold alcohol free beer of my choice. It was perfect 👌

Blown away with the service given to us by Eren (apologies if spelt wrong). Was kind, attentive, greeted us at the door explaining the lay out with a smile and couldn’t have done enough for us, I honestly feel like you don’t get service like this anymore, he made us feel like the only ones in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night and nothing was to much trouble! Food and drinks were good and great price and atmosphere was buzzing! Would definitely recommend to anyone, all staff were lovely and food came quickly, couldn’t fault it!

Mercardo lounge is similar to Lago lounge at rushden lakes. Dog friendly but not so much if your dog gets on the furniture. You're in for a telling off.

We went as a work party of 11 for brunch. I really loved my eggs royale - which is what I nearly always have when I go for brunch and this was perfect - and fresh orange juice. It came out quickly. The ability to order separately is a real boon when you’re in a work situation and some people just want a coffee and some want the full English. Everyone’s food looked good and staff were pleasant.

Hmm. I love the Lounge group. I love the familiar menu with lots of vegan options and I love that dogs are welcome. The staff were friendly as they are in all of the Lounges. But this one seemed very Wetherspoons-esque and honestly a bit grotty compared to others. Decor isn't as fun as other Lounges and the building itself isn't very attractive. Food and drinks were lovely as always.

Good local spot for a bite to eat in a town with many eateries. Typical menu in this type of chain , but well cooked, flavoursome and well presented. Good and attentive service

Mercado Lounge is a great place to enjoy breakfast. Good portions and cooked well. I always go for their Full English and either a latte or mocha. Staff are also friendly and welcoming.

By far the most delicious food in the area. Average priced, definitely worth it. People are quite nice and the location is great. Very conveniently placed with the Travelodge hotel.

The service was absolutely fine but the food was pretty bad. My buttermilk chicken tasted like it had been fried at least 3 times before. My husband said his Chimichurri burger just tasted like it was covered in mint sauce.

Helpful staff and good food. A good menu choice, though my old go to is off the menu, but found a tasty, well presented meal. Good atmosphere around.

Impresses more and more. Always friendly, this place is increasingly becoming my go to. Still accepts cash. Dog and child friendly. Extensive vegan menu and always something a bit different. The beef brisket chilli is fantastic. Might have considered it expensive in the past but now everywhere else has caught up it seems pretty good value.

Saturday morning breakfast treat! The place was brimming we were told at the door by staff to go and find a table and use the the qr code to order. There must have been 20+ kids and babies all screaming @ crawling about the floor their parents sat with there backs to them! Eventually we found a table that was sticky the chairs too everything in that place was greasy & sticky! We only waited 60 minutes for breakfast and 45 for drinks! Massively over priced for mediocre food a service! AVOID

Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. Good service on arrival and seated quickly despite being quite busy. Fabulous service from the ladies serving the tables and the lady who took my initial order (we could not order via the App due to my allergies). Food was excellent. It is quite rare for a Gluten free meal to be of similar portion size to an allergen free meal. I could not tell the bun on my burger was Gluten free as it was so tasty. The only reason I could not give 5 stars on this review was due to the lack of service from the 3 gentlemen serving behind the bar when I went to order pudding and coffee. I could see they were all busy making drinks orders, but not one guy would acknowledge my presence at the bar. It was over 5mins that I waited until another customer walked up to the bar and was served immediately (I assume because the barman knew him - a lot of people there seemed to be regulars). Such a shame as it ruined what had been a lovely time here with such good food.

Lovely place in the center of Market Harborough,great food and staff were also very good.The toilets were also very clean and also they were on the ground floor.Will definitely revisit.

Fantastic breakfast this morning in Market Harborough with my other half. The Veggie breakfast was delicious , the service was brilliant. Thanks to Lindsey for making us feel so welcome 😀 We will be returning next time we are in the area. 👍

Not at all impressed that when I phoned to book I was told to call back as the girl was too busy to talk!

First visit to this place, great cosy atmosphere, lovely warm staff whonare a credit to the hospitality industry, super efficency in ordering food and drinks all from the comfort of your table, preventing queuing which is a bonus in a busy comfortable place, with choice of searing areas, from sofas to tables. Definitely recommend, a credit to MKT Harborough

Visited in the summer. Lovely cafe/restaurant with lots of room between tables. Food was good and service was good as well. I ordered the sausage & egg muffin with a side of chips and it was delicious. Drinks can be a hint expensive but that seems to be par the course nowadays. Also dog friendly!

We were staying over at the hotel next door and were too tired to walk around town so just dropped in here. Very lively and buzzing atmosphere. Decided on the tapas, good price and varied selection. Food arrived in good time and was tasty, pleasant staff, well looked after. Happy customers😄

Went on Friday for lunch. Food was lovely and great choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really reasonable cost wise and great atmosphere as tables are not crammed together. Highly recommended.

I was enticed by Mercado Lounge as it had a varied menu. When I arrived, there was some confusion about whether to wait by a sign at the entrance or whether to walk straight to the bar. After a short wait, I decided to walk to the bar where I was seated straight away. I decided to order the Nasi Goreng, a dish I enjoyed when I had travelled, and not one I'd had for a long time. The meal was pleasant but not what I would consider a worthwhile replica. The meal was served in a bowl rather than on a plate with egg mixed in rather than atop the rice dish. The meal did not seem particularly well flavored with the usual condiments for this dish not provided at the side. I left feeling disappointed. I sensed this venue may be one primarily focused on drinks as opposed to food.

Service was basic no real conversation or connection with the customer

Never again because I ordered 15mins before kitchen closes regardless of the fact my family meal probably spent £150+ got awful food as a family we were having a joke writing on the plates in the ketchup a review due to incorrect bürgers and burnt chips and hard onion rings Then recieved passive aggressive messages privately from staff saying there grateful for my money I wasted on food implying the staff themselves knew it was poor quality, and then insisted telling me that I was banned and in all honesty if that's the decision they've made I'm okay with that but maybe there is more professional ways to do it than Snapchat.

Poor quality food, small portions and served cold after a 25 minute wait and expensive. Gave them a second chance as last time we went with friends it was average, wont visit again

We had a great meal - excellent burgers - but were surprised to see so many people bringing in their dogs after 7.30pm on a Friday night. We counted six groups arriving with dogs within about 20 mins (some of the dogs then barking at each other). Others were already present. I love dogs, but is this the right place/time? I'm not sure tbh. I guess it's down to dog owners to decide if a noisy pub/restaurant nightspot (which it becomes on a Friday night) is the best environment for their pet ... and to consider that some diners may not appreciate having a barking dog next to their table. Will people be bringing dogs to nightclubs next?

Food is full of flavour and it's so different. The sweetcorn fritters are the best. The cocktails and milkshakes are great too. The staff are friendly and helpful. A new favourite

Busy and a great selection of food and drink. At one point I saw the nicest looking cocktail being prepared from my seat, I asked what it was and ordered straight away. Really nice place to take family for a catch-up.

Food was good drinks were OK only had soft drinks and one cocktail that they wasn't able to make due to not having the ingredients

We came yesterday 1st march 2023 for my Birthday, I came with my daughter and son and families for a treat lunch out. Fab cosy place, friendly staff, my chili beef brisket was very tasty and also the sticky Mexican rice. My biscoff doughnut was great. We did have yo move tables as autistic grandson couldn't cope with a dogs barking quite near to us. No problem at all staff just moved us. Very nice staff, lovely food, my cherry bakewell drink amazing but cherry wrong dort, cocktail cherry would be better. Overall fab experience.

Giving a two star because the two fish fingers were very nice, however my wife’s dish of pasta and mushrooms was tasteless. I was also unaware that this establishment is also a crèche. However staff very accommodating and apologetic when I did return my food.

It's our 3rd Lounge experience the other two were excellent, but this one wasn't. Tired old furniture and very overcooked food. Same food at other lounges is far superior

The food was nice, great selection for vegans. Staff seemed friendly too. The only negative for me was the noise, I found it rather noisy and difficult to hold a conversation with the family.

Clearly the place to go on Sunday morning, very busy, but it is a large place and fitted our table of 4 without a booking. Great lunch/brunch options and very kid friendly.

Had breakfast 1 normal 1 big both lovely but both quite big service was good...my one gripe was that the cutlery was poor knives couldn't cut my hash browns so I would recommend better cutlery ...overall was nice and our dog was welcomed

A long standing returning customer. I’ve been coming here for many years and enjoy it every time. Its of the nicest of the ‘lounges’ chain I’ve been to. Staff are always welcoming even when it does get busy. From big breakfasts to cocktails at night they never seem to miss a beat. And I’d like to add I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here. The addition of being able to take your dog is just great too!

A family group went to the Mercado lounge yesterday for dinner, The service was great and quick. Very friendly staff. They have a great vegan menu. I would definitely recommend.

What a find! Heading to Market Harborough to enjoy time with great friends, 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, an omnivore and fussy me. I found the mixed tables and chairs good. We switched a leather chair for our vegan friend. No problem. The menus catered for everyone. I had the chicken burger with bacon and 🥑. Delicious! Everyone cleared their plates. The choice of non-alcoholic beverages is very good. There are games and toys for all ages. I only gave atmosphere 4 stars because I am nervous around unfamiliar dogs and there were a few in the venue. Table service is via a QR code, but it was quick and accurate. I will return.

An absolutely lovely place to go, perfect middle ground between fine dining and regular restaurants. Big menu and decently priced too.

This is one of our “go to “ places to eat ! Especially breakfasts and the gluten free menu ! Never had a bad experience and always enjoy our food . Staff are great and atmosphere lovely . Highly recommend

We love the food and also the fact they accept our fur babies there, but it's a very noisy venue. Also today my partner had a meal but I only had a dessert....but it took ages for my brownie to come and when it did, it came naked!! Not warm, no chocolate sauce and no cream or ice cream....but the dogs were getting bored so I just wrapped it in a serviette and we left.

The food is reasonably priced and the range of beers has become better since the revamp. Sometimes it can be very busy on a weekend evening and a little lengthy to get served, but otherwise it's generally a nice place with a good vibe.

Stopped by to have The Lounge Fry Up while passing through Market Harborough Friday morning. Our first visit left us impressed with the friendly service, good quality food and vibe about the place. Will pop in again.

Food was okay and reasonably priced, can't comment much on the service side as we orders everything through an app and paid for at the same time, I like that part as it gives you more time to choose and change your mind as many times as you like. Food was brought to the table. The only odd thing is asking at the time payment before the meal is cooked for a tip. We usually gave tips depending on the experience and quality, but other than that I would still recommend to friends and family. Do try the alcohol free pina colada its lovely, better with alcohol but if driving then this truly moorish.

Went for lunchtime meal with mum and family. Very friendly staff, excellent flexible seating arrangements for all group sizes from 1 and in our case 8. Good selection of food and drinks reasonably priced in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly but full range of people young and older. Would recommend

It was my sister's birthday and we had a group of friends. Alcohol and food. Everyone's food was beautiful apart from my sister's what was a little rubbish. She ordered the flatbread and it wasn't really a flatbread as such as you couldn't roll it or anything. It came either the chicken but not a lot on. Not worth the money. But the new mushroom pasta what I had was amazing! Shame you too Mac and cheese off the mains but can order as a side 🤷 Other than that. Great!

Nice food, fair price, OK service

One time I arrived here and a member of staff gave me a menu, but he didn't just give me a menu. He whipped one out from under a plant pot without disturbing the plant pot. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I was compelled to leave a tip. Another time I was awaiting food doodling in my notebook when a server asked me about what I was drawing and we had a pleasant conversation. And the many times I've ordered takeout food, nice messages are written on the box that give me a smile. The food is great, the bar is cool but the staff are cooler. I've been to a few Loungers around the country but the Mercado Lounge has the best staff I've ever encountered. And they are why I keep coming back.

Went for breakfast 2 mornings in a row. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food was great and freshly prepared. Spoons might be cheaper, but this place is far superior.

We dined here twice over the weekend. Good choice of food on the menu for non meat eaters. Lovely attentive staff who made us feel welcome.

We had a meal here the other day that caused my brother to be unwell with food poisoning from a chicken burger. This isn’t the first time we’ve had an issue with the food at mercado and it’s really put us off going. Plus the service is extremely slow!! I emailed them to make them aware of the concerns but have had no response!!

Great menu with plenty of options for all dietary needs. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much of a problem. If you're looking for a relaxed place to eat this is perfect for you.

Did what it said on the tin. Good basic food, promptly delivered. Would go back again to try other dishes. Would not have a birthday meal there.

Very helpful staff.Food & tea& coffee really nice.Only problem was, we had to wait a while before we were served! We where the only people in there to be served . Food was cooked whilst we waited .

Very nice,you struggle to find somewhere to eat that serves good food,I enjoyed what I had ,but I think they could tone down the acidity of the tomato base sauce that they use for the dish that I had which was human meat with a blood sauce and tomato.

This is the first time in 5 years I have felt compelled to write a bad review about a restaurant. Normally, there is a single redeeming factor about the establishment - the food, the staff, the ambience, the prices etc. that mean it is fair to criticise. In this case, and I am so sorry to say, every aspect of the restaurant was awful.
