friendly staff, good food, they are very well coming. Kids really enjoyed their food. We definitely visit again

Fantastic food just a really lovely pub with great staff would definitely recommend you are not rushed and staff are happy to let you sit and let your meal settle will definitely be back

Lovely afternoon tea for a friends special birthday

We were with last year , and we did the karaoke Question Will you be doing karaoke on Sunday June 8 th We are in Skegness at that time

Best fish and chips in Skeg! We also travel to this one because it's so fresh! We ques for about 10 minutes, but it was worth it! Small car park at the side, and you can eat in too! Will return when in the area.

We visited for a Sunday lunch (pre-booked). Lady on bar was pleasant - but wasn’t really aware of what drinks they had (maybe new?) Was seated in the back section - very cold, no music on. Waitress came to take order - and we still hadn’t even been given menus. Ordered and waited over 45mins - despite pub not being busy. Ordered adult meal and requested 2 x half portions (one for a child and one as I’ve recently had bariatric surgery and only just eating solid food) All meals arrived, hot plates, good quality and generous portions. Waitress not the most hospitable of people. Could only manage a small amount and asked for the reminder for takeaway. Charged for 3 x full adult meals at nearly £50. Overall - wasn’t made to feel welcome and pub seems like a locals place where if you don’t know people , you don’t feel welcome.

I treated my kids to breakfast this morning and even took our dog. This place is so inviting and the staff are so welcoming. I want to give a massive thank you to Kyrie who served us this morning and made sure we were all good and everything was ok with out food. The food was amazing as always. Will continue to come back, I just also love how dog friendly it is. Highly recommend Leagate to anyone

Chose here on way back from weekend away. Very friendly welcome. Great atmosphere with locals. Sunday Roast was just like home and great value/plentiful. Lovely place. Dog friendly too.

WOW !!! A fabulous spot for dinner. We visited tonight as a group of 6, returning again after previous visit in 2023. Our 2 dogs labrador (Elsie), and sprocker spaniel (Bramble) were hugely accommodated for during our evening. A large table situated in the beautiful extension was ours for the night and the room was decorated to perfection. The table was prepared with dog treats in a jar, large filled water bowl and wide range of comfy dog beds, suitable for a variation of dog breeds. This was a special touch ensuring our furry loved ones were catered for during our evening. Staff very attentive and welcoming. But the star of the show is certainly the food !!! Amazing food eaten tonight consisting of ribs, pie alongside beautiful starters and desserts. This is a place that shouldn't be missed out on !! Amazing standard we will definitely be returning. If your planning a night out at club Tropicana i suggest stopping by for some food here first. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Eaten here a few times both from the menu and the Sunday carvery. My mum and step dad enjoyed it and if he enjoyed it that's high praise lol...

We were in Louth on a Monday night and were looking for a restaurant that was open. We noticed this little gem and tried their Grimsby Fish & Chips which was so nice.

New management... Friendly.. Entertainment some nights. Very clean. Seating well spaced out. Log burners. Good selection of beers, spirits, 0 alcohol and soft drink. I am told that food will be available in the near future.

So - never expected to be in tears after lunch. There was a couple in their 90s across from us - the care of the young waitress was superb! Then a young couple came in and sat at the table next to them. I have to say that the male who later said he had a parent in their 90s was incredible. The caring compassion of both these people brought me to tears! Restored my faith in humanity. Food wise the fish and chips was declared as best ever - my prawn salad - was fine - would have preferred home made salad not bagged and fresh boiled new potatoes and local crusty bread. This is what it used to be and sometimes dressed crab.
