The best restaurants serving British food in East Lindsey East Midlands

My partner and I were enticed in by the performer outside. The drinks were fairly priced and the staff were friendly. The outside area was quite littered, with rubbish on the tables and the floor. This wasn't an issue as perhaps it had blown in, however the male toilets were filthy. I've attached a photo to show I am not exaggerating, they did look as if they had not been cleaned for some time. This isn't a bad pub and I'd call for a drink again if proper cleaning was in place.

Sadly, this place has gone downhill. The lady behind the counter tried overcharging us & was perplexed when we mentioned it to her. Chips are the only thing worthy of being rated as, in my opinion, nothing else is worth my money being spent on.

Order a Mexican Loaded hot dog £7.50, absolutely dire. Can't remember the last time I'd wasted so much on terrible food. It was basically a tray of sloppy crap over a white sub roll and a hot dog sausage. Made all the bread soggy, couldn't pick it up to eat and struggled to eat it with the available wooden fork, ended up just eating the sausage Totally waste of money and unfulfilled

Service was terrible. First time coming here and won't be going back. Me, my partner and daughter (8 years old) had breakfast here, we were polite and said thank you etc The lady who served us food practically slammed our food down on the table. She was polite to every other customer that had walked in after us but not us...she said "enjoy your food/coffee to every other person or regulars but not LIS or my daughter even though we had been poliet first. The food wasnt the best. The size potions were big l'Il give them that but the food was awful. My beans were cold. My partners tomatoes were cold. He didn't like his eggs. He got a coffee which the lady didn't even asked how he liked his coffee for a start...when he got his coffee he said it tasted disgusting and tasted bitter. My daughter's food she was fine (cheese burger and chips) but the breakfasts was awful. The mugs were disgusting and had not been cleaned properly and had grime all over the handles. The place was freezing and felt like they had no heating on even though it was cold outside, My daughter left her coat on as she was cold. Do not recommend.
