My partner and I were enticed in by the performer outside. The drinks were fairly priced and the staff were friendly. The outside area was quite littered, with rubbish on the tables and the floor. This wasn't an issue as perhaps it had blown in, however the male toilets were filthy. I've attached a photo to show I am not exaggerating, they did look as if they had not been cleaned for some time. This isn't a bad pub and I'd call for a drink again if proper cleaning was in place.

Plates cold, veg cold. The chicken and mushroom pie was OK and the filled Yorkshire was OK. Had to ask for chips and pot of tea because they had forgotten them. Could do with a deep clean and stop the staffs child running about the place. After reading other reviews won't go again. McDonald's might be cheep and cheerful but it's definitely better and clean.

We were visiting Skegness for the day and stopped here for a carvery. As we lined up for food someone had to shout for the chef to come which took a couple of minutes. While waiting it was hard to ignore the amount of flies hanging around the covered food. The chef finally appeared and uncovered the food. The meat looked well done and when I opted for pork, he couldn't even cut through the skin. He even said that the meat was overcooked so I changed my mind to Turkey. This turned out to be so dry it was inedible. While getting our food we were still having to contend with the flies which the chef was batting away from the carvery, the electric fly trap obviously not doing its job. We all attempted to eat some of the meal but soon gave up as the veg were tasteless too. We did complain and get our money back but I would recommend avoiding it like the plague.

Booked in hotel down the road, don’t know Skegness so this was one of the first places we came across. The staff were really nice and very helpful. Nice wine and food was ok. Could do with a bit of tlc . Looked really tired. It was ok on a cold day . Free WiFi so that was me settled for another glass of wine.

We opted for the Sunday Carvery and wished we’d walked passed. The food was only luke warm, roast potatoes were frozen to start and finished inedible, the beef was like leather and nowhere looked clean. Give this place a miss otherwise you are throwing money away.

Looking tired and dated inside. 2 medium wines - £9.90! How do they justify the price as nothing special in the brand of wine served! Yet meals very reasonable!

Although competitive in its food pricing we have had better and cheaper elsewhere. Portions were quite small and the place mats well used and should have been binned a long time ago. The main thing that was very off putting was the state of the carpet which looked like it hadn’t been hoovered for a week. The times we went in it was quiet so there was more than enough time to make the place respectable for diners. One thing in its favour was the chips, home made and and well cut, sadly there wasn’t enough. Staff were very helpful though and attentive.

We initially popped in the Jubilee Bar for a coffee but decided on a bite to eat. We ordered two jacket potatoes, but after almost a 45min wait and a couple of others getting served before us, we decided that we'd give the food a miss and get a refund! The staff gave a half hearted apology but couldn't offer an explanation as to why it took so long to prepare a very basic meal. We ended up going up the road to our trusty Wolfie's who never fail to deliver great food.

Just come back from yet another lovely weekend in Skegness the only thing that spoilt it was the meal we decided to have here tryed the carvery before and it was terrible but thought that we would give them a second chance but oh how we wish we had not I chose the steak & ale pie which I would not have fed to my dogs really disgusting half baked pastry floating on top of which was supposed to be gravy but looked like coloured water and tasted like it 4 pieces of meat about 1" square and must have been cooked to death & the veg was no better. My wife had lasagne which was edible but the chips and salad with it horrible chips almost raw salad had some disgusting dressing on which was of indeterminate flavour sorry will not been eating here every again

Nice big double rooms which was a bonus and they let a 4 year old stay with no additional charges as he slept with us so that's nice of them. Huge bar with massive space for seating and breakfast was cock on as its a buffy type one so not skimping on the food there. The price outside for breakfast said £2.99 but they have charged £3.99 on both occasions but I didn't query this as it was lovely. Got no complaints here really apart from smokers coming outside and polluting the air when you're eating.Friendly staff and would go again.Toilet smelled but that's down the drainage pipes.

Had the misfortune to eat here last night. Only had a fish finger sandwich and a side of chips but it was slop!! Grey fish fingers and undercooked chips. The fact that it came out so quick should have been a warning. The drinks are expensive!! Had two large glasses of rose came to £16.40 in total (food was approx £6.50, couldn't find price for chips but I would think no more than £2.50 sandwich was £3.95) which means two glasses of wine £10. Over the road at 'Wellis' two large glasses of rose was £6.50!! Won't be going back and would strongly advise against it. Looking around other people's tables we weren't the only ones to leave food!! One positive the bar staff are friendly

We stopped here for food whilst staying at another nearby hotel. It's not the cheapest place to eat but I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. My partner and I both had a cheeseburger and was surprised to see that the burger was handmade, it was perfectly seasoned and melted in the mouth, the chips were 'fish and chip shop style' and very tasty. My daughter, who is normally an extremely fussy eater, also cleared her plate. Very enjoyable!

Went on to the Jubilee Bar for dinner, all I can say is I will not be going back again. The food was of very poor quality and the chef who sent it out should be ashamed of themselves.Had the mixed grill, the Chinese ribs were almost raw and the rest of the meat was of substandard quality. The staff were extremely friendly but the place is looking tired and in need of refurbishment.

Last year we had a war time sing along in the Jubilee so this year on our visit we wanted to see if it would live up to our expectations! Did it, you bet it did, with Them 2 Ladz playing and a Hen and a Stag party in, we all had a fantastic time. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful night of entertainment, loved the tambourine, see you next year!

My wife and I had the worst meal we have ever had in the jubilee bar. We opted for the Carvery " Big Mistake" the majority of the food was either cold or barely warm and this included the meat. The carrots were slimy, the green beans resembled shrivelled up sticks and the yorkshire pudding could have been used to build a bar bq it was that solid, Needless to say we left the meal and walked out after informing the bar staff, A total waste of money and the next day both my wife and I felt ill and it could only have been down to the food. There was no apology for the food and the staff did not seem to care less. This is definitely not a good place to eat.

We were having a drink in Wellies and decided to go this eaterie, slight mistake as we opted for the steak pie and all the trimmings which i may add was good value at first glance but unfortunately the steak was the toughest i have ever been served.I sent it back to the kitchen via a real nice waiter called Stef, he gave us a free drink and presently brought another helping of steak pie etc, it was even worse than the first. The owners were outside in the beer garden and asked what was wrong, i explained and he was very apologetic and insisted i come next night for a free meal, which i was going to but left Skegness unexpectedly before Dinner. On reflction i was not offered a refund but did have a few drinks in lieu. Overall would not visit this place if i am ever in Skegness again therefore no recommendation.

Service in the restaurant was appalling. Went in and you'd have thought I worked there. 3 members of staff on and no one lifted their heads to say hello. I was bright and breezy and greeted the staff but my cheery disposition did not warm them. I wandered about a huge very old fashioned room with tables set for meals. I was unsure as to whether I sat my self or had to be waited to be seated. The lady drying things just watched me. At this point I asked whether we seated ourselves. My answer from a scruffy looking lady was 'yeah'. I said hello to a man by the bar polishing cutlery. At least he managed to respond although at first I thought him to be a little 'special' and he seemed very vacant.I sat and waited, and waited and waited... No one came over to see if we wanted anything or tell me to order at the bar. Is still don't know if this is what I should have done? The place was empty bar one guy slumped over a cup of tea staring in to space. We left and I don't think they noticed. All staff bar the woman had their backs to us and we're absolutely in no mood for a customer. Had someone died I wonder. It seemed like they were all in mourning? Had I paid a visit to a haunted house? Were they really there at all?

We had not visited for 1-2 years (used to visit regularly) so booked a table one of us had never been here yet, so we had to share the great food experience.... It was at 19:00 we arrived, but it was still fairly busy, not too busy though. A friendly welcome, after which we were shown to our table. Shortly after we purchased our food tickets at the bar, as well as our drinks. After having put the drinks on the table we queued (a very short queue) to get our meats, red cabbage, fried potatoes, sprouts, etc. I opted for gammons, pigs in blanket, turkey and beef, as everything looked nice. As expected I also took everything else. To end taking some gravy, no sauces (ketchup and/or may). I tried the turkey 1st, but it was tasteless white meat. So, I took some beef, but this too had any taste... The gammons however tasted very nice, but then the 'pib's' were too fried and tasted strange. I unfortunately was kind of disappointed, it was not like I remembered. The very small sprouts were boiled too long and were very soft (no bite), the carrots were nice, but then again the potatoes tasted greasy. No nice fried potato taste. They had a thick, hard , greasy crust. My apologies for a review like this and I hope next time will one better, like 2 years ago...
