Just finished a walk nearby and we dropped in for lunch. Friendly welcome. Great atmosphere and a lovely old bar. Food was good and very generous portions. We shared a large ploughman’s. Have been before for dinner one evening and ate in the restaurant.

Ebrington arms was just down the road from where we were staying. Wished we had discovered it earlier in our holiday ! There was a lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Food was of high quality, well cooked and with great service. We will definitely visit again on our next holiday to the area. Thanks to all the lovely staff.

Called on the off chance that we could get lunch. My husband went in to ask if we could get a meal without having booked as it was by then 1.30. The young man was very helpful and sorted a table straight away. At the moment I’m in a wheelchair which wasn’t a problem here at all, the young man moved a chair to allow me to sit there. The food was amazing and we would definitely visit again to try some more choices from the extensive menu.

We come regularly to the Woodhall Spa area and had noticed the Ebrington Arms whilst driving. We much prefer old style places which have plenty of character so it was on out list of have to visit. We booked a table for 2 couples as we passed on Saturday afternoon and found the barstaff most helpful and friendly. On arriving for our reservation we were offered drinks at the bar and taken through promptly to a very nice clean dining area, clean tables and chairs with spotless cutlery. There was a wide choice on the menu and a seperate specials section on the same menu so the table wasn't littered with lots of paper to sort through. Our choices were, Prawn salad, Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce, Steak pie and Chips and Tiger Prawns with White wine and Garlic sauce, all were nicely presented and great tasty food. The staff were friendly, polite and there to help when needed but not pushy or rushing you. The time from ordering to being served gave the opportunity to catch up and converse and the food well worth waiting for. We will certainly go back again, top marks to all the staff Thankyou.

Turned up to be rudely spoken to by the bar lady. We wanted food, checked the website and board outside which states open for food and rudely told not serving food and signs have been up. Put signs up and on the website that you are not serving food...🤬

Turned up having checked website for food. Very unhelpful welcome and sharp reply when asking for a table. We were told there have been signs up for weeks that we're not doing food. I replied with we aren't from here and checked website and the board at front of pub. No apology just plain rude again. Will not return.

Fantastic to see the ebrington has reopened after such an awful time with flooding. We visited tonight for the famous cajun chicken. It is delicious the best i have ever had. We love this pub, we moved to the area 3 yrs ago and this is one of our locals. The pub is has a warm friendly atmosphere, excellent food, drink, friendly staff, we are always made to feel welcome. Hope all goes well for the coming season and this summer is kind to you. Well done on all of your hard work getting the pub reopened.

What a fab find! Dog friendly pub in picturesque village. Stopped for lunch with our pooch halfway along our hike. Warm welcome and excellent choices on menu....even had a menu for the dog! Both opted for the steak pie, me with veg and hubby had chips and peas. At £14.95 seemed a little pricey, but boy was it worth every penny! Shortcrust pastry, packed with masses of slow cooked steak, which melted in the mouth, simply fantastic! Definitely recommend a visit particularly for the food!

Have been coming here probably once a year for the past 12 years (generally come when we want a place to take visitors as it’s reliably good) and it is always excellent - it has never let us down. This time was no exception - absolutely superb food, wide variety to choose from, everything we had 4 different mains and desserts were brilliant. Service friendly, polite and efficient. It is known as a ‘dog friendly pub’ which is not something that we require and our only criticism is that some dog owners don’t keep their pet under proper control which can be very irritating!!!

The Ebrington is a very charming, traditional British pub which does good quality food. In the winter you'll find an open fire, in the summer it's lovely to sit outside and there's a play area for kids which is always welcome. The menu is quite large and varied, but my only minor criticism would be that it doesn't seem to change - we've visited over a few years and, specials aside, it's been the same throughout that time. That said, the food itself is good value, generous and nicely cooked, and service is good.

The Ebrington Arms has always been a little of the beaten track and has had its fair share of landlords over the decades but it has never previously enjoyed the success of its current landlords the Moncreiff family. They turned what had been a half decent pub into an outstanding venue for a casual drink or dining out. Be aware that with this level of success you are advised to book well in advance for a meal. The bar is regularly voted outstanding by the good folk at CAMRA and there are always a solid selection of real ales available accompanied by good lager and cider. As you may expect from the Scots a solid selection of Malt whisky and some interesting gins. The food is always well prepared in large portions and represent great value accompanied by a consistently high standard of service. Hence the popularity and requirement to book in advance particularly weekends. Some years ago I was chatting with the landlord (sadly departed) and suggested it was quiet for a Wednesday evening; Yes he agreed, We have only had 85 covers.... This is for a Sixteenth Century Pub in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the week, astonishing. I cannot recommend this Pub highly enough, if only there were 6 stars available.

It’s a while since we visited this pub but it’s just as great as ever. A real country village pub with a fabulous friendly atmosphere and community feel. The choices on the menu were vast - all the normal starters and mains plus specials AND a Christmas menu too, or if you preferred just light lunch snacks. Even though we weren’t there for a Xmas meal, there was a very festive feel with crackers and table decorations. The food we had was fantastic and we were delighted to find that the pie was a proper shortcrust pastry pie - pastry too and bottom with meat cooked in the middle. The pork loin was also delicious with a wonderfully tasty sauce. Service was very good and nothing was too expensive. Since our last visit the toilets have been revamped - good improvement. I note that some older reviews mention problems with telephone bookings being denied - this has happened to us too in the past. We were interested that on this occasion the person who took our telephone booking was very particular in repeating back to us the day, date & time and also even checked we were booking the correct pub!!! Maybe someone has learnt from past mistakes.

We wanted to have a good chat before a visit to the pictures and decided to try here as we'd been before in the evening, and enjoyed it. We opted for a main course and dessert each, and finish with coffees. My friend had a chicken in sauce which had a very appetising dish of vegetables, I went traditional with Scampi and chips, but we both enjoyed our food which came piping hot and delicious. Our desserts were raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, I went for warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream (am a chocoholic). Again we were very happy with the choices. So much so that I didn't want any nibbles when we arrived at the cinema. The only downside to our visit was the parking. The pub has a car park but even at lunchtime it was full. We live in the village and had booked to eat in the Eb on a Friday evening in June. After a 9 hour journey from Devon, hampered by weather and traffic we arrived at around 6.30pm. Had our normal table in the bar by the fireplace. Our starters were fine and the waitress very accommodating. The chips with our main course were anaemic and soft, we mentioned this to our waitress when she cleared the table and she said she would pass the comment on to the chef. When we came to pay the bill, I mentioned this again and was informed by the waitress taking the payment that when she had "checked" our table this had not been mentioned and it was too late to complain now. She had "checked" prior to us eating our main course, at which point we had no comment to make. We run a business in the village and reccommend the Eb to our guests as a " Destination Pub/Restaurant". After our recent experience we now would not be able to give this credence, to our guests

We called in for a drink after our walk. We might have had a meal there but the lady on duty was not welcoming so we moved on elsewhere after our drink.

Whilst staying in the area we came across the Ebrington Arms. A proper country pub in the Lincolnshire countryside. The pub has a nice beer garden with plenty of play equipment to keep the children amused. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we knew the chances of getting a table for an Saturday evening meal within 24hrs of booking were non existent. My partner and I decided we would call in on the Saturday lunch for a lite bite, a bar snack. On arrival we were a little early and the pub was only just being opened up. There was a queue of customers forming at the door, clearly a popular place. Anyhow to the point. Once inside we enquired about bar snacks and was asked if we had booked a table? Now I maybe wrong, but who books a table in a pub just for a couple sandwiches? We were given menus and told to order at the bar in the restaurant. The food was nice. The ham in my sandwich was proper thick ham cut from a joint and the side salad dressing was nice. The price of the food was good and within keeping of other eateries in the area. All in all a nice lunch. Maybe next time we will book!!!

We were on holiday in the area and with family visiting us we fancied a meal out together. We opted for the Ebrington Arms and very glad we did. We received a warm welcome from the bar staff and waitress. The food was delicious. I had scampi,it was very well presented and there was plenty of pieces. Other members of the party had sirloin steak, mixed grill and steak pie. All of which were given a thumbs up. The food was piping hot and came out together. We took our 7 month old Grandson who sat at the table with us. The pub itself was lovely. Comfortable dining and very clean. We parked on the road which wasn't a problem as the car park was full (Tuesday evening) that says a lot about a place! The next time we holiday here we would definitely visit again.

On a visit to the Ebrington Arms this weekend which we have visited many times as we live in the area, we were told on our arrival they we had no booking. The telephone booking had been made some days before as we had friends visiting us for the weekend. Annoyingly the Ebrington Arms had made a mistake on our previous visit to the pub which I pointed out to them. Instead of apologising and trying to make amends, they tried to tell me I must have made a mistake and rung a pub with the same name in the Cotswolds!! I pointed out that we had eaten here many times before and lived in the area so that wasn’t a sensible thing to say, but this didn’t seem to change their stance that the mistake was ours. I also pointed out that their telephone number was in my contacts list which I had used many times but this didn’t change the situation either and they insisted that had we made a booking they would have written it down. I asked who would have answered the phone and was told it could be anybody who worked there which didn’t fill me full of confidence that the booking would be addressed properly. At this point their stance was still the same that the error must be mine. Eventually they insisted that I ring the number in my contacts list it to see if their phone rang, I did this and of course the pub phone rang. At this point they looked a bit sheepish and said they would move some single tables together to try to fit us in. Did we get an apology? No not really which was quite disappointing. After this the waitress who dealt with us went out of her way to try and ensure we had a table in the area that had been requested in the first place. The service thereafter was good and so was the food. It’s a shame that our custom didn’t seem to be of any significant value and soured the vist with our friends siomewhat. What should have been five stars became three because of the way we were treated.

My Husband and I were holidaying at Tattershall Lakes and wanted a trip out for a nice meal. We chose The Ebrington Arms after reading about it online. It totally lived up to the fantastic reviews. Gorgeous home cooked food in a cosy environment with friendly staff. What more could you ask for?! Highly recommended!

While on a short break with three friends we popped into this lovely family run public house for a pint and a bite to eat. Immediately upon walking in we were very warmly welcomed and despite not having reserved a table we were quickly seated by the friendly staff. There was a decent range of drinks on offer and an equally good choice of food. Three of us had the steak and ale pie and the fourth had rib eye steak. The portions were very generous and the food was great so the price was very fair. Service was top notch throughout. If we visit the area again this will certainly be a pub to come back to.

In arrival a very warm and friendly greeting, it was clean and nicely done out. The menu had something for everyone, and was most reasonably priced. On arrival the food did not disappoint... absolutely fabulous, portion sizes were huge with absolutely no room left over for a dessert..

Called in on Friday lunch time to make sure of getting in with our friends for the following Sunday. We booked our table and also had a round of drinks ( sat outside as it was a nice day) We had the roast Pork X 2 and one Beef and also one Vegetarian, each person had their own dish of veg. Everything was hot and served by a nice young lady with no waiting for our meals. Everything well cooked and presented.

A very popular local pub - opens at 6pm and there were people queuing to get in (so book a table if you want to eat). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was extensive and everything we had was well cooked, presented and tasty. Recommended if you are in the area.

This is a place I've passed a few times but not had the opportunity to try out. I went for a tea time meal with a friend on a mid week night. I arrived at 6.10pm and by 6.30pm the car park was pretty full. We both decided to skip the starter and ordered main courses, we both had the chicken breast which was cooked to perfection in a delicious Stilton sauce. We also enjoyed delicious desserts and coffee. One tiny hiccup was that my cappuccino was served without milk but this was soon replaced with a fresh cup, and they were very apologetic. The staff were very polite and we enjoyed our meal out and expect to visit again soon.

Here for Sunday lunch with friends who visited. Food was good, staff friendly. But be warned your table is only yours for 90 minutes!! Very shortly after eating our meal we were reminded the table was needed and asked to leave. We quickly finished our wine as the pub was packed so didn't allow us to move elsewhere. I appreciate hospitality is suffering at the moment but not sure we will be back due to this restriction.

I have some very bad news for you!! I knew that the Trop will be imploded on October 9, 2024 at 2:30 AM, very early in the morning. I heard that the implosion date changed twice, initially it was October 2 at 2 AM, then changed to October 8, also at 2 AM. Then it changed once again to the final date! Prior to the implosion, there will be fireworks and a drone show. On April 2, 2024 (right after April Fools' Day), the Trop closes its doors for good (not an April Fools joke) at noon, 2 days before its 67th anniversary. I know the Trop was a 67 year old hotel. The Trop is the third oldest casino on the Strip and also one of the few remaining casinos during the city's mob era. The Trop is my favorite hotel. Before the implosion, the demo crew took about 5 months to dismantle the hotel, leaving the towers' frames behind for implosion. The reason why the Trop is getting demolished because they wanted to build a new $1.5 billion Major League Baseball stadium that will be the new home of the Oakland Athletics. Construction of the stadium will begin sometime in April 2025, one year later after closure and it will be completed by sometime in 2028, just in time for the 2028 season. Before the construction, you will just see an empty lot where the Trop used to stand. If you like the Trop like me, you will think something is missing, "Hey, where did the Trop go? This doesn't feel right at all!" I have also heard that a new Bally's will be built along with the stadium. Why do they wanted to build another stadium, at this location by destroying the Trop, just why out of anything. They should build that stadium in an empty lot or something instead of destroying the Trop. We stayed at the Trop for 2 nights, right after Christmas Day in 2022, not knowing the hotel will get demolished 2 years later. Before we went to Vegas, we stayed in Los Angeles for 2 nights. We left LA at 11 AM, making our way to Vegas. It supposed to take about 4 hours to drive to Vegas from LA, but there was a very bad traffic jam, lasting into the night time. We got stuck in traffic for many many hours, before getting to Vegas. We even tried to bypass the traffic by exiting random roads and finding our way back to the freeway. At 11 PM, late at night, we have arrived in Vegas, checking in to the Trop very late! Our parking spot every time was in front of the bungalows. The doors that leads right into the bungalows are key carded, so we had entered through the front entrance the first night and check in. We stayed in the winter, so that the pool is closed. It was very sad that we did not experience the pool area at all, that this was our only time visiting and staying at the Trop. We are very lucky that we picked the Trop as the hotel we would stayed at. I am very sorry to see the Trop go! Farewell, Tropicana! I will miss you a lot!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I just wanted to see what they are building in the land where the Trop stood in the years coming! I really wanted to know!

The Barge is located right in the centre of Grimsby, if you are here drinking then it's a must visit place. The barge itself was being painted when we got there which will end up looking good and giving it a nice refresh. Inside is nice, good jukebox and nice service. Beer is on thr pricey side but worth it - there are a lot if dives in this town so you get what you pay for. Ample outdoor seating which was nice in the sun. Would recommend.
