The best restaurants in East Lindsey East Midlands

I have had fish and chips from you in the past, probably 6 months ago, and loved them, fresh fish, very nice batter, but tonight we ordered fish and chips again, And am a little disappointed, the batter was nice but the cod had little taste and wasnt as thick as in the past, and it was very firm, as if it was cooked earlier in the day. Not as tasty as before

Really diabolical and hopefully no one else goes here. Food was stone cold, really small portions (of cold stale fish and chips) and the "restaurant" was filthy. Toilets were the worst I've ever seen. Walls crumbling, floors sticky. Tables unclean. Please don't read good reviews. Stale cold unclean establishment. Rip off.

We were here for a snack lunch- 3 adults and 2 children. Great choice of fresh food- we had bacon rolls and coffee/apple juice then ice cream - mint choc chip. Staff friendly and helpful. Food fresh and tasty. Best I've had in Sutton on sea.

I have died and gone to heaven. We had seafood linguine, spaghetti bolognaise and margarita pizza. Digestivo and crème brûlée for dinner. If you are debating visiting this place then please don’t wait any longer. The ambience is relaxed as well as elevated and the portion sizes are perfect. The staff are attentive and friendly and very patient with young children. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Dropped in.for evening meal with no knowledge of the place before. Well what a charming country pub with excellent attentive staff. Food was absolutely amazing . And despite the good quality was surprisingly good value. We dropped in at a busy time..And was told there would be a long wait. Well it was well worth that wait. Often a gamble dropping in on an unknown place. But this gamble.paid off would thoroughly recommend. And will definately be back .

Managed to squeeze us in for Sunday lunch which was a bonus to start with! The food was absolutely amazing. Broad menu which caters for all. We had the Beef Sunday roast, the red cabbage and the cheesy leeks were delicious. All of the veg was so fresh and the meat was beautiful. My son had the quorn buttermilk chicken burger which came with fires and salad, he ate everything on his plate and commented on how nice the fries were.

Couldn't rate the rooms as I car camped but the hosts are brilliant the location is lovely And the food is amazing .

Absolutely amazing breakfast! The cappuccino is spot on! We will be back soon.

Lovely little restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff . The food was beautifully cooked and presented. A memorable night. I doubt this culinary experience would be beaten by any establishment of its type in Lincolnshire.

Visited for Valentine Night Out, excellent food, lovely staff and nicely spaced out tables , nice not to be able to hear your neighbours conversation. Lovely staff presented me with a rose at the end of the evening, lovely gesture.

Visited with family and friends on a lovely warm Saturday for lunch. We have been before pre- Covid and had enjoyed it and were very happy to discover it is just as wonderful. I was the designated drive so had a soft drink but the others enjoyed a white Rioja which they loved. For the food we had a mix of olives, bread, sea bass, prawns, ribs and mushrooms. It was all excellent. Highly recommended.

The women working there on the 18th April at 3:30 was very rude and disrespectful, didn’t seem like she was trained very well. Made us walk out as she was so disrespectful. Wouldn’t return when she’s there

What a lovely venue great atmosphere, ambience. A busy Saturday lunch and deservedly so Great service from a very attentive team full credit to the kitchen food was exceptional main course and deserts were amazing Highly recommend We will return for sure *****
