Absolutely delicious food and very reasonably priced with helpful friendly and informed service. Every time we visit Mablethorpe we make sure we book a table at Gerardo’s - just fabulous!

Booked this meal for a birthday had a wonderfull three course meal all our choices were executed in full brilliant service We had lovely service with prompt attention at all courses. Will definitely go again eating in side as. It was evening meal getting cold outside. Enjoy. Always book very busy restaurant.

Living in mablethorpe me and my family have used this place a few times and always found everything good, but today we went 28/9/24 and was served by a very young girl who at first forgot half of our order and i had to go back in after waiting half hour so my son had nearly finish by the time the thing i ordered finally arrived, when we had nearly finished, she then came to out table and said she had to clear it even though she knew we had not finished eating and could clearly see that she was taking everything off the table with no appology for her actions which i found very rude, I really hope this is not something they have now put in place as i thought it was a resturant not fast food to be rushed with time limits on tables, as there were no people waiting and empty tables around us so can not understand the rush.

Excellent. If there is a better word than that then that’s what it is. We were a walk in couple and I am a celiac. Couldn’t fault the choice service or food. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back.

Wanted to try this place for two yrs very disappointed after my visit , the garlic mushrooms were very bland and very watery with very little taste , king prawn in garlic we’re also tasteless , spaghetti cabanora lovely and creamy spaghetti undercooked ham well over cooked service terrible ran by kids no one seemed to care about anything , 1st and last visit ruined my day cheers guys better food at the other Italian go with what u no guys

We seated ourselves, had to ask for a menu, and found the table to be sticky. Decided not to stay to eat, since the service was non-existent!

We had been told by friends that this was a good restaurant and that we should try it whilst we were in Mablethorpe. We went on a Saturday night with friends and the food was amazing as was the service. There was nothing we could fault and can’t wait to go back and try more of the delicious food.

I've been coming to Gerados for several years and it's always been good but not on my last visit. I had a meal with friends on a Saturday evening for my Birthday, the food was good but the service was appalling. There wasn't any service. I might as well have cooked and served my own meals and got my own drinks. The two guys waiting were just not interested. We didn't get any desserts though I was looking forward to one as a treat. We decided to just leave because it was clear it was too much effort and probably the staff didn't care less. Will avoid an evening time from now on.

This has to be the best restaurant in Mablethorpe! We have been here 3 times this week and every single meal has been outstanding to say the least. I can’t wait to visit the area again and come back to Gerardo’s - we will miss you 😊

Absolutely spot on food, best garlic bread I've ever had....and I'm 64, the family also were saying spot on food, highly recommended.

Staff at Gerardo's look after 11 of us for my Uncle's 80th Birthday party. Friendly & attentive and I can endorse the recommendation for having chocolate; coffee & Ferrero Rocher ice-cream in your Banana Split!. Thanks to all the team at Gerardo's for helping make the family birthday party special.

Sat outside with dog. Ordered 3 full English breaks and 3 coffees £27.50 Definitely value for money: 1 sausage 2 bacon 1 hash brown 1 egg 1 toast Beans Tomato’s Mushrooms Food was served with a smile, hot and fresh. Will return again.

Called in at the weekend with family and friends for a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary We sat outside in the sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, had banter with the staff and owner who was lovely. Food looked great but we had already eaten. Highly recommended

Popped in for lunch and ordered lasagne and hot dog and fries. Hot dog and fries were excellent, proper hot dogs, proper hot dog buns, proper fries. Lasagne was amazing, probably the best lasagne I have had in years. Full of meat, mozzarella, full of flavour with Parmesan shavings as well.. Decent size portion, I have paid a lot more for a lot less and lower quality in many places. Staff were brilliant, smiling, chatty and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Just one word of wording in view of recent reviews, please don't order this for children, it arrived red hot and bubbling, so could be dangerous! No chillies though, although my grandkids would have been disappointed as they have eaten chilli from being extremely young !!

First visit to this restaurant, disappointed. Good selection of gluten free options and our food was nice. Unfortunately service let it down, we were seated straight away which was good and told someone would be back to take a drinks order, which didn’t happen, we ordered drinks at the same time as food. Drinks took 20mins to arrive despite us asking if they were coming several times, food arrived 2mins later. No offer of a second round and no offer of a dessert menu, we gave up waiting, paid the bill and moved on elsewhere.

Omg, I can’t explain how good it was. And during high season please book in advance, in fact, book in advance during low season We went for our 17th wedding anniversary on 23rd March We had the best brochette we have ever had for a shared starter For main hubby had one of the chicken (pollo) dishes, and I had the spicy meatballs A couple of meatballs and we were back for lunch I was mildly disappointed that they didn’t have soup, or pancakes or strawberry jam, but it is what it is But it did make me turn to trip-advisor because we have always known it as a great place Then we came across the most strange report ever If you had a 1 year old you would ask for a child’s menu If they said (in a place you had used for years) that they didn’t have one, or didn’t offer you one, and you ordered a dish, but what came out was clearly not what you ordered, you would say so But even then, you would, as a parent try the dish to see if it was the right heat hot for the child You wouldn’t scream, get your sister to buy icecream, swear etc You just wouldn’t!!!!! And I just wouldn’t want anyone to think that a parent would do that and not call 999, because as a mum, that all sounds wrong to me I also used to own a restaurant and I know what stupid people do! Sadly she is one

We came upon Gerados by chance on a day visit to Mablethorpe. I had the antipasta starter board of mixed italian meats, cheeses, olives, salad and bread, it was delicious and plentiful. My husband had the Tropicana pizza which was so good he said it is the best pizza he has tasted for a very long time. Great friendly service. We would highly recommend this restaurant

Booked a table for four adults early evening on a Saturday. We were seated straight away, no waiting and staff were super attentive even though they were all very busy. the food was astounding, I cannot recommend the Antipasto enough, would make a lovely lunch outside in summer. We weren't rushed at all but weren't left waiting either. The portions were huge and everything we had so so tasty, nothing in the four starters, four mains and two desserts could be faulted. my father wants to give a special mention to the mushroom starter. For the first time in years my husband and I asked to speak to the manager to show our appreciation for an amazing night. Only one point, they don't have another restaurant in Basingstoke!

Just visited this amazing restaurant. If you want AUTHENTIC italian cuisine then this is the place to go in mablethorpe. Waitresses were very attentive, kept checking if we needed anything. Then the food arrived.... the portions sizes are huge. The starter for one could have easily fed two. Amazing flavours and selection of meats on the antipast. Then for the main course... Again, massive portion size. Steak cooked to perfection and the gorgonzola sauce is to die for. Every other person that ate with myself felt the same about the service food. The manager should be proud of her team of staff. Will be returning next time we are in the area.

‼️‼️‼️‼️Disgusting service today at Gerardos. We’ve been coming here as a family for years without any issues, however today was a completely different story and I urge anyone to think twice about visiting this restaurant. Visited today with my mum, sister and my one year old daughter. There wasn’t a children’s menu (if there was we weren’t given one) so I ordered my daughter a ‘pollo chicken pasta’ from the adults menu which they agreed to do as a children’s portion. When the food arrived my daughter wasn’t given what she had ordered but instead a sausage pasta? I didn’t kick up a fuss as the rest of the tables food had arrived and it appeared to be a tomato and sausage pasta which she would normally eat. After a few minuets her face came out in a rash and she was screaming with pain. My mum who was sat next to her tasted the pasta to find she’d been served and extremely spicy pasta and upon further investigation there were fresh chillies in the pasta. Again not wanting to cause a fuss my sister went to the till and ordered her some ice cream whilst I tried to calm my inconsolable child down who by this point had a mouth full of blisters and ulcers. When the waiter came over I fed it back to him and asked him to hand it over to the rest of his team.. a few moments later the young lady at the till who took the order came over to apologise (whilst also trying to justify her error) and with a refund of my daughters meal. I was cold towards her as I was trying to calm my baby down who had come to physical harm. As we were leaving an incredibly rude waitress who looked like a child and with a face full of collection 2000 asked ‘was everything ok with your meal’ in an obnoxious tone whilst smirking. My reply was yes apart from the obvious. To which she told me it wasn’t the girls fault who took the order. This ended up as a full on slanging match where I may have swore. She then went on to tell me I was disgusting for swearing in front of my child who by this point had been taken out of the restaurant by my sister. However, had my daughter of been there I think the fact her mouth was covered in blisters and ulcers was far more damaging to her than using a swear word but there we go! I won’t take parenting tips from a caked up child waitress who clearly provoked the situation by asking if everything was ok with our food (with a smirk) when clearly it wasn’t. To make matters worse a scruffy looking chef appeared from the back to ‘calm the situation down’ by telling me it was ok because his nephew eats chillies. Huge red flag that a chef thinks it’s acceptable to serve a baby fresh chillies. He told me we were banned which really wasn’t any skin off our nose as you couldn’t pay me to step foot in that place again. Incredibly rude, no recognition of their error apart from the waitress who took the order. Had that of been another restaurant, not that I can imagine another restaurant serving a 1 year old fresh chillies I’m sure they’d apologise for their error and ask if there is anything they could do to help. I accept that the waitress taking the order made an error which is human nature, however as a chef wouldn’t you question or check that the person ordering was aware that the dish contained chillies knowing it was for a baby as a baby portion was ordered (not that I had ordered the dish in the first place). Huge safety issue, and his justification is that his nephew eats chillies. How unprofessional. It is not within my character to make such a scene in public, or leave negative reviews, however when my poor baby has come to physical harm I feel that it is utterly justified. I will also be taking this much further.

Booked for evening meal. Atmosphere was nice. Food was amazing and portion sizes big. Ordered a bottle of red wine (valpolicella) would highly recommend. Very friendly staff. Down side was table water not brought after ordering, guy who brought food didn’t know what he was bringing so place the food down wrong (we switched) specials not very well advertised. Overall good experience and probably would return.

Disappointing visit today - gruff counter assistant, chocolate powder discovered on my takeaway latte which was too hot. No biscotti with the latte either and the cup was 3/4 full. I won’t be back.

We had an excellent meal here great pizzas and lovely banana splits for dessert. My husband is part Italian and a very keen coffee drinker he thought it was the best cappuccino he had ever had. They had lots of choice on the menu and the restaurant itself was nice and bright with lots of space. Very enjoyable.

We visit here every time we come to Mablethorpe and it never disappoints, excellent friendly staff quick efficient service ,amazing coffee choices ,best coffee in Mablethorpe, actually tried hot chocolate today which was excellent, great value panni choices are fab ,fresh hot tasty a very enjoyable visit will be returning, also they are very dog friendly which means alot when you can go sit comfortably with your dogs and enjoy a nice lunch ,

I’ve been to Mablethorpe four times this year and fined at Gerardos three times. Last night was my husbands first visit. We foolishly ordered starters which were huge as well as delicious. I had the calamari which was nice. My husband had the mushrooms which came in a big fish and were absolutely delicious. Our mains were fabulous. I had the spaghetti carbonara and Hubby had the king prawns. We’ve never seen such large, tasty prawns and the portions were very generous. So generous that we had to have our garlic bread boxed up to bring back to the lodge. The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and cozy. The staff were absolutely lovely. This is going to be our regular go to restaurant.

We have been using the restaurant for about 10 years and food/service has always been lovely. The youngsters & family have always been so welcoming but yesterday at around 4.20 we popped in for a coffee & light bite only to be met by a chap who asked have you booked, all of the tables are reserved for people who have booked for tonight! He then turned on his heals and ignored us, so obviously we walked out. We have never seen this chap before but he is loosing them custom! The table layout consisted of cutlery wrapped up in paper napkins. I could have turned a table around in less than a minute and I'm sure evening bookings don't start anywhere near 4.20pm. This was so disappointing! We will certainly not be visiting again if that chap is there! So rude!

We arrived at about 3pm to meet a family member. Even though it was busy, we managed to find a table with no issues. Got my daughter an ice cream which was reasonably priced and very delicious!! Once you’ve chosen your flavour, you get to choose your type of cone and can also add a variety of sprinkles for a little bit extra. Ordered coffees and they promptly came, and it was easily the best coffee I’ve ever had! Once we’d finished our drinks, we ordered pizza and cheese garlic bread to takeaway. It was made fresh, but we didn’t have to wait too long and it was brought to our table, bagged up ready to go! It was the first time we have had any food from Gerardo’s, but we’ll definitely be back! Tasty, fresh and packed with toppings!! 10/10!!

Every time we come here, the food and service is always second to none. Every dish we have ever had has been amazing, the attention to detail and the flavours are outstanding. If you're staying in Mablethorp, this is the place to eat. Grazie Mille

This restaurant is a hidden gem, nothing to look at but amazing fresh food and fabulous service. We had fresh pizza & chicken in Stilton sauce, I cannot fault it!

I took my grandaughter 29 August 2021. We sat inside the restaurant and wanted to order a full meal. It was not busy and many of the staff passed our table and looked at us but did not come to take our order.After sitting there for 15 minutes with no staff coming to us to take our order, we got up and walked out. There was no notice to say that it wasn't table service and if that is the case, surely someone from the staff could have come to the table and pointed us in the right direction!We were looking forward to this meal as we had been recommended to visit. Customer Care is paramount in the hospitality business getting back on their feet, all it needed was someone to ask if we were okay.

The food was amazing, real quality Italian cooking, also the coffee was great, really quality coffee perfectly made, I am I admit a bit of a foodie, so if things aren’t right I generally have something to say about it, but at Garardo’s the food and drink were spot on I have been going there for years with my family on days out and it is by far the best food in Mablethorpe, that’s if you are after quality. I think the only thing that needs updating is the decor, bit dated, although the toilets are spot on, very clean and modern.

We were on the lookout for a light bite during a brief stop on Mablethorpe and Gerardo's looked interesting - an 'all things to all punters' corner spot that is a shop, an ice cream parlour, a takeaway spot and a cafe/restaurant.I decided to take a chance on what was billed as a special salad and turned out to be a giant platter of all sorts of goodies - it could have fed two.Service seemed a little stretched but the food went down well.

I’ve previously left a good review after we’ve visited on numerous occasions which were of a high standard. Not sure if there has been a change of ownership. I bought coffees, 3 breakfast buns and 2 full English this morning. The full English came out with no sausages and I had to ask where they were. I also asked for baps and got baguettes. Anyway, the beans, mushroom, toast and the bacon were stone cold. I tried the sausage which was boiling and my son said the hash brown was hot. I informed them some parts were cold and The dark hair lady said she’d go and sort it but the blond lady came back out saying I was wrong because they’ve temperature checked them. Hmm… think you need the thermometer testing. I said I wasn’t interested in another breakfast due to their attitude but my son was hungry. My parents couldn’t eat the bacon in theirs as it was stone cold and the quality of the sausages was extremely poor. We asked for the bacon to be taken back. I received a 20p refund for that but full price for the English breakfasts. We waited 20 mins for the breakfast snd asked where it was but Couldn’t wait another 20 mins for the sons breakfast as everyone had finished. We went elsewhere for him. We’re been coming here for years and the worst I’ve ever had. Even when I spoke to the manager he was unapologetic and said I was wrong too because he had cooked it!! The only person who apologised was a dark hair girl. The blond hair girl with false lashes just laughed at everything!!!This has put my whole family off going here again. Other people had issues with their lattes and food too so maybe they need to look within rather than blame all their customers!!

Called in on the off chance of a table Friday teatime ,we were given choice of 3 tables. Service good despite them being very busy.Food was really nice we both had a pizza shared some chips and had 1 drink each.Hubby asked for bill but waited ages so he went up to pay. When we were outside I asked him how much the meal was ...£42.20!!!I went back and stated it sounded a lot. As the waitress was checking the bill the girl at the side of her said oh yeah I've just done that bill ,I did it on my phone so it's probably wrong!!! Yes it was wrong £14.20 overcharged ! No apology from the girl but quick sorry about that from waitress sorting it out.Check your bills throughly! Such a shame really as won't be returning .

1st time visitor on back of Trip Advisor recommendations. Have been staying at Haven, just up the road. Food and service was top quality. Super cold Draught Peroni was icing on the cake

Was on the hunt for a late breakfast when we arrived in Mablethorpe, and happened upon the lovely Gerardo’s!The staff were pleasant and helpful, taking our order and showing us to a table just inside the window. We didn’t have to wait too long before our tasty breakfast wraps were served, filled with a generous portion of perfectly cooked bacon, savoury Lincolnshire sausages and a lovely fried egg. The similarly perfect hash brown was left separate on the plate, which was a good choice as there’d have been no room in the wrap itself!Breakfast was enjoyed with a delicious bottle of fresh orange juice, served with a chilled glass which was greatly appreciated on this roasting hot day! Overall a delightful meal and we look forward to visiting again in future.

We've been going to Gerardo's for years for our ice cream and milkshakes but this year we had a couple of meals there and they were were delicious. Pasta dishes full of flavour and the pizza is excellent

We have eaten here several times and have never been dissapointed. We called in for lunch yesterday hubby went for the Gerados special salad it did not dissapont!I had the Chicken Pollo Valdostana with chips delicious.The place is lovely and clean and the statff are lovely, great service too.We can definatly reccomend it. Great value.

We visited here on Wednesday with friends, and we all have been before. The quality of service was exceptional, the food was as delicious as ever and the price was competitive for such outstanding quality. Every time in Mablethorpe eating at this restaurant is one of our "must do's" and we have never been disappointed. The staff could not do enough for us and the professionalism shines through If every restaurant adopted the level of friendly service that Gerardos provide they would be on a winner. Don’t waste your time or money, worst experience we’ve ever had. Waitress put menus down on a table outside, didn’t communicate until I asked if that was our table.Didn’t know what a Birra moretti was (even though it was on draught) so ordered a peroni for ease.Bland food, informed waitress - from that moment our food was no longer placed down with care, it was almost slammed in front of us.Not attentive, didn’t check our meals were okay, especially after they knew we weren’t having a nice time.Slop, watery foodFlat strong bow, informed waitress, no apology, no “I’ll get you another one” or take it off our bill.Head of house apologised that food was bland but didn’t offer any alternativeMenu doesn’t state shell on prawnsMy main was the exact same as my started mixed with some spaghetti. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said “no it’s not, it has more prawns”. I obviously wouldn’t have ordered this dish if I had known it was going to be the same with “more prawns” and pasta added.Rude manager, confrontational, wasn’t wearing a mask/visor & entered our personal space, when I asked her to keep her distance she stated she didn’t need to wear a mask because we were outside despite me explaining social distancing.Told my partner he was being aggressive when he asked for the bill minus the two dishes containing slop.Manager stated we were just trying to get a free meal, we said this wasn’t true as we had both had one mouthful of our meal so therefore weren’t benefiting from this outing.The manager stormed off & said she would have to ask the chefs to see if we didn’t have to pay for the meal - she was the manager so I don’t really understand. She never came back & sent a waitress out with a revised bill. No apology, no update, just a bill with our two mains scribbled off. Such a bad experience.See photos attached..

Everytime we come to mablethorpe this place is our go to. The full English breakfast, the breakfast wraps and the breakfast muffins are all lovely. The coffee is a good blend and I love it. I drink lots of coffee too so I know my coffee lol! I highly recommend this place.

This place doesn't look particularly attractive externally but they cook some wonderful home cooked dishes. The lasagne was beautiful. The steak great quality and cooked to perfection with a Stilton sauce. The take away paninis which we got at a subsequent visit were also too quality and deep filled. Efficient and friendly service. Much better than expectations that we made a return visit for take away paninis.

Myself and hubby visited this place last week while we were staying close by. This has to be the best place to eat in Mablethorpe. While it was outside only seating due to Covid restrictions, the seating area was pleasant, service was good and the food and coffee even better. I felt like I was in a street cafe in Naples, although I suppose the sunshine helped. Really couldn't fault it. Food fresh and plentiful and staff were efficient and friendly. I would return in a heartbeat.

Visited here in April 2021 during a little holiday the week the restaurants were allowed to open with outdoor seating. We sat outside and ordered inside. I ordered the cheeseburger and chips special for my son. It came on a chopping board the portion was so big, all for only £3.90!! My partner ordered the chicken legenda also a big portion, chips had to come seperately as couldn’t fit on the plate all for £4.90 and I ordered a very stuffed panini which came with a lovely salad at £4.50. Absolutely beautiful food! Quality and quantity here, what more could you ask for.

Oh wow! We stopped by here in Oct half term for a late lunch. All covid procedures followed well and the young lad who greeted us was so welcoming, upbeat and friendly. He seemed rushed off his feet but met every single customer with a smile and friendly conversation. He's a real asset to the restaurant and I wish we had taken his name, well done! We weren't sure what to opt for and were recommended the special managers burger, we were not disappointed. It is huge and not at all greasy as you can get in some restaurants. We would travel here for the burger again and highly recommend trying it. Well done team Gerardos

Really enjoyed our lunch at Gerardo's. We chose salmon fillets and pizza. Fillets very well cooked. Pizza flavoursome with a nice base. Also had really nice iced cappuccinos. Excellent friendly service. Well recommended.

Living near the Town for the last 18 months I have often walked past this restaurant and said I must give it a try.We visited at lunch time and we were not disappointed. Absolutely friendly and competent staff, prompt efficient service, and exceptional food and wine at reasonable prices. Starters of mushrooms and bruschetta the tastiest we have had and mains of chicken and pizza gorgeous. Even though the restaurant was very busy the service was swift and efficient with a friendly atmosphere and a smile all ways on the staff faces.Will definitely be returning, just wish we had not been sooner.Definitely 10 out 10!

6 family members had a fab meal for my granddaughter Daisy's 7th Birthday, freindly staff excellent service, every meal was delicious desserts were excellent too. Staff made a special ice cream for Daisy and they sang Happy birthday to her which was so lovely.Covid regulations were explained on arrival. Would definitely recommend Gerados x

We went to the Eat Coast for a day on Weds 2/9/20 just to stop going stir crazy. We first of all went to Skegness for a good walk on a nice day which gave us both a good appetite. Looking around Skegness we decided that we wanted something more than seaside fish and chips which were not that cheap. So we drove up to Mablethorpe and went to this restaurant that we had been to a long time ago. It was so well worth the drive.We both had only a very large starter each ansd shared a 12 inch garlic pizza bread. The two dishes were superb and so was the garlic bread along with some exremely nice Pinot Grigio. Incredible value for money, superbly cooked food, attentive and friendly staff and management and full Covid guidelines. A pleasure to have visited!

Quality restaurant experience, food was traditional Italian. Good choice of drinks available, outside seating was cosy. Lovely food, would return.

Mixed review with this one folks! We normally eat breakfast at the Cauldronn just next door but was closed and with 2 hungry young children thought we would try here,staff very obliging and showed us to a table by the window and back door (sealed off for covid) ordered 5 breakfasts which came out in good time,portions spot on couldnt fault it especially as it was wednesday and there was 50 % percent off for the government eat in scheme,...HOWEVER the next morning was completely different,after getting our usual back door table for 5 seats,the staff seem to take ages to take our order,it wasnt as busy as the day before,we noticed that the male chef stood about talking to staff rather than cooked anything,when an order was ready its placed on the top for the waitress to take to your table...well sometimes hot food would be stood for a short while before collecting it,same happened to my little girls Bolognais we adults had got our meals and my youngest waited almost an hour for hers so when it eventually was put up ontop for service it just sat there,the staff was aware of our frustrations and said nothing,eventually my husband offered to take it from the top and bring to the table but the waitress spied him and said she would do it,sorry guys not a great review from us,we go to mablethorpe every year and will never return here,sad really as the day before couldnt fault you!

I have reviewed the excellent food and service at Gerardos in the past and always like to see if things have changed when we visit again each year.This year I am pleased to say that everything is GREAT and as expected.Great staff and food are on the menu here permanently at Gerardos.I was particularly impressed with one of the severs I had a nice chat with whilst she cleared our table. She is one of the chefs partners and also owns a local hairdressers. She was hard working helping out and clearly excellent with customers. Her reccomendation to visit the local Russels Circus was spot on.Try the Gerardos Special for a hearty lunch. Have a Meat Feast pizza for your dinner and wash it all down with a refreshing Peroni on draft.I love eating at gerardos and was pleased to see they have extended the restaurant where part of the gift shop was.One observation and suggestion would be during the covid restriction I would only serve ice creams from the counter on the main road as this would leave the restaurant customers the only ones lining up outside trying to get orders and seats. Thanks again Gerardos we look forward to visiting again soon.

We come here every time we visit our caravan. This place never disappoints whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner or a quick coffee and cake. The food and staff are lovely. Make sure you visit on a Friday or Saturday evening when the restaurant is open late. Their pasta dishes are the best I’ve tasted outside Italy. Would definitely recommend

Found this on Trip Advisor as we were looking for a nice sit down restaurant during our weekend away. The experience did not disappoint! We booked in advance, thankfully, as it was very busy by about 7pm. Felt comfortable with their COVID-19 procedures and the distancing was good. We had bruschetta and caprese for starters and two pizza rusticas for our mains. No room for pudding, I’m afraid! All freshly prepared and delicious. We will be dining here again on future visits to the area!!

Visited today 14/08/20 for lunch with the kids. Staff were very friendly and the food was fab, 3 different pizzas, 2 sides of chips and 5 drinks came to about £35 and fed all 5 of us. 5/5 for us we will definitely visit again next time we are here.

Went for lunch it was beaut and the staff was so polite and Lovley will be going back next week for tea. X

Only called in for a snack and a coffee before starting our trip home. Coffee was great (as expected, Italian) , so was the cake. Only wish we had spotted the place earlier during our stay.

Was pouring with rain and we took refuge in the first place we could for some lunch and coffee. So glad we stumbled upon it as the food was delicious! Fresh pizza, hot chips and yummy ice-cream and coffee. Shame there isn't a sea view but the food and service made up for it. Would return.

5 of us dined here. The garlic bread starter was great to share and the calamari was fresh and a good size portion. the meat feast pizza was delicious, very flavoursome. the chicken salad was large, the chicken breast on top was a good sized portion not like in other restaurants whereby you only get a sliver. the kids had spaghetti bolognese and pepperoni pizza. the pepperoni was too spicy for them but luckily the spaghetti bolognese was a large portion so the kids could share. there is no kids menu but all dishes can be made smaller. theres no baby change and the toilets are too small to change babies in. there was a small discrepancy with our bill but it was quickly resolved. hubby didn't like his pasta, thought it was too plain. the restaurant is fairly priced and the portions are good. we would visit again if in the area

We went to Gerardos for our Valentine treat. Wow! The food was superb, Lemon gin and Limoncello to die for! The staff and hosts were fabulous, attentive, cheerful and happy, and very efficient. The atmosphere was great and the decorations of hearts and roses and fresh tulips on every table made it even more special. This is our first “special” meal here having only visited for lunch previously, which is always fabulous too! We will definitely come again and will recommend to everyone! Perfect, welcoming. Pancake with strawberries ice cream and chocolate sauce was wow. So was the lemon Drizzle muffin.

We have visited this restaurant twice recently and on both occasions we were really impressed. The decor is simple, the food is superb and the staff are brilliant. We were very impressed with the level of service and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We visited for a bite to eat, very warm welcome and friendly service, all the food was cooked fresh, we had pizza and pasta dishes. Very tasty fresh food. The baked mushrooms starter was delicious, Pizza dough was made fresh, could not fault the meal. Absolutely 5 stars, highly recommend

I will say that they really need make the place a bit warmer, despite being sat near the radiator I had to put my coat on!The portions are massive, I would prefer it if they cut the size down a bit but they are very reasonable. There isn't a massive choice on the menu compared to other Italian restaurants, especially if you dont want pizza or pasta.I had a special of chicken and broadbeans but the ice cream is the best part. Service is excellent.

The food is always gorgeous and their coffee is known as being the best in Mablethorpe. Today though they went above and beyond to rescue two damsels in distress (details not disclosed to save our blushes) and then gave us the most attentive service and a bespoke pudding to make us smile.

This place is amazing, the food is to die for. We had chilli garlic bread to start, then seafood pasta. I had the gerardo's special pasta which was full of meat. The staff are lovely and it's really reasonable.

We had a wonderful family meal here. The burgers and pizzas were amazing and staff are lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely homemade meal.

Absolutely wonderful staff couldn't do enough for us.food fantastic.catered for the kids everything they wanted Helen and geraldo on the floor working along side their staff .recomend to everyone have been loads of time and will go again and again without a doubt. Brilliant

Just been out for a Italian in mablethorpe, absolute gem find. Food was pukka. Its like being in Italy.

Lovely little place, very friendly staff and good quality food at a reasonable price. We visit this place every time we come.

Popped in here got a table outside as it was a lovely day ordered our food spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread you got good size portions and very reasonable priced quick service highly recommend if you are in mablethorpe

We live this restaurant you can get fantastic coffee and pastries, brunch, wonderful lunches authentic Italian gelato and wonderful meals. It is open in the evenings Friday and Saturday with longer opening times in summer. The quality of ingredients is fresh and great and the prices are so reasonable. It has a lovely outdoor area to sit in the sun and there is water for your dog too! We always visit every time we come from Lincoln

This was my 1st time going here for something to eat with my husband and son, we wasn't disappointed. We go to Mablethorpe every year and like to try different restaurants. Shall be returning for sure when we are next there on holiday, food was lovely and worth the extra wait as they were busy but all cooked fresh.

Popped in when passing, great friendly service, food was out pretty quickly and tasted great. The ice creams to follow were amazing, highly recommend the rum and raisin! Will be back again next time we are in town.

Just returned from a few days away in Mablethorpe. We had walked past this restaurant many times and always thought it looked nice. On the last day we thought we would treat ourselves to a slap up meal there. After spending a very relaxing day at the beach we walked around to the restaurant only to find it was closed despite it saying that they were open until 7pm and the time was then only 5.10. We were very disappointment as we had been looking forward to it all week and had packed up early to get there before the rush.

We had a very tasty lunch here, ordered 3 pizzas and 1 spaghetti bolognese, all very good. Ice cream for dessert which was delicious. The only negative was we occupied a table just inside the door but a couple of tables outside were smoking and so it was blowing straight into our faces. However, would definitely return if back in the area.

Decided to have lunch here with the in-laws. The food and drinks were all lovely. One thing I was a bit miffed about though was that my order was taken to the next table and the lady sat there with it in front of her for a good few minutes, then a waitress came out and took it away from her saying that she had been given her the wrong order. I saw it, thinking that looks like what I’ve ordered and our order was placed before theirs. A couple of minutes later out it came and was given to me. The lady said she hadn’t touched it. Had I not seen it happening in front of me, I wouldn’t be any the wiser but to see it happen was quite annoying.

Lazy summer day, and neede a watering hole and a light bite. Dog friendly added to the positives this place had to offer. Had a great value salad, almost a house special, which was great value for money, with a good variety of different cheeses and hams, we also had a cheeky 10” garlic bread. All in all delicious.

First time here and very impressed I had the specials burger and totally superb presented lovely will definitely return when in mablethorpe really lovely food
