Love this pub, I come every week for a social drink and just started coming for dinner every so often. Each time I've eaten here it's always been good food, good drinks and really good bar staff. Absolutely love coming in and always feel welcome. Lovely local, yet to try the Sunday menu but I know from talking to other people it's really good

Me and my partner stop off here .most Fridays after shooting range nextdoor. The staff are attentive happy and very kind and friendly and always welcome my friends and make them too feel part of the atmosphere the place is spotless toilets smell wonderfully clean although it's very busy the staff are always friendly and make sure your wait isn't too long. The Breakfast is delicious as well as lunch and very affordable they also have disabled facilities too the manager and sister are very friendly especially with my partner and the rest of the customer's looking outside in which I like very much my friends my partner always say how much they have enjoyed the day out after visiting the pub and ha ve also took their friends in the evening so yes needless to say we will be coming here for many years to come 👍

Found this place when passing it earlier in the day as we were staying at Eastwood Hall. Having dog in the name we thought it would be a good dog friendly venue which it is. The food service was on the slower side but when it arrived it was obvious why; everything was cooked fresh and piping hot. We were a family of 6 and ordered a real mix of food types. The Indian food was really good, full of flavour and rich in colour, spices and texture. Extremely friendly service and very affordable prices. Kind of a weird mix of menus, British; Indian & Moroccan which usually means not great at anything but the burgers were very good and the Indian dishes pretty amazing and much more the sort of thing I’ve experienced at some of London or Dubais “high end” Indian restaurants. If you’re local or staying in the area give this place a go, the richness in flavour isn’t what we expected but certainly very pleased with what we had.

Food was cold, The Sunday lunch considered of one table spoon of potatoe, 2 very over done hollow roast potatoes, a spoon of peas, 2 tiny pieces of carrot, and 1 piece of over cooked broccoli and a cold Yorkshire pudding. The meat was cold on one dinner and the other inedible. When it came to leaving we noticed the food star hygiene label on most of the menus had been covered over. When we asked why, I was told they had lost the rating but wouldn't tell me what the rating was. I'm not surprised with the temperature of the food and the cooked standards. Very disappointed. I wint be returning.

Went for the rugby. TV turned off and no one came to fix it. Very upsetting experience. I won’t be coming back for any important occasions…

We went there on our wedding anniversary as we had been recommended it, but in all honesty I think our friend might have been drunk when he ate there, because our food was nothing to shout out about. The starters were like something from the frozen section in Iceland. I had steak and chips while my wife had braised shin of beef and chips instead of mash. The chips were awful they had a really bad taste like they had been cooked a while, stored and then fried up again. My wife’s braised shin of beef came in a bowl and with what seemed to her like left over veg from the Sunday dinners menu…it was like a beef chunky soup. My wife had a desert from the menu but by this time I was completely done and was feeling a bit dodgy with the after taste of the chips. She said the desert was the best part of the meal. The lad behind the bar who served us was very pleasant tho and was no fault of his own. This would have got 1 star but the steak was nice and so was the birra morretti. It’s been an hour since the meal and we can still taste the horrible chips. We won’t be returning. Overpriced as well for what we got.

Afternoon meal in the Billy Peverel before a T20 match at Trent Bridge later that day. The Billy P is one of several thousand Wetherspoons establishments dotted around the UK. If all the lights were turned on in every Wetherspoons in the UK at the same time, when viewed from space, an outline of a sausage and a fried egg would be visible. If you squint, apparently. Still, back to business... It must have been a busy day in the pub by the time we arrived. Most of the plates and glasses were still dotted around the place, waiting for the Wombles to arrive and tidy them away, seemingly. The dreadful carpet was exceptionally tacky in parts and the pub just felt like it needed sterilising. Our food arrived after a medium length wait, a chicken strips meal and a wrap with chips. It was almost hot, but reasonably well cooked. The chips were a tad stodgy but passable. The meal filled a gap and we headed out the door, cricket bound. Nothing to write home about but we've been in FAR worse places.

Absolutely disgusting prices , we ordered two sandwiches one bacon and egg on normal bread and one bacon and sausage and was charged £19.68, we could have a bacon sandwich in the Ritz for this . After ordering the sandwich we were asked to stand outside on a very cold windy day. How rude after robbing us with the prices of a normal sandwich . This is daylight robbery and we will never ever eat here again .They also advertise a breakfast sandwich on ciabatta at £5.75 ?????? . Why was we robbed
