One out of 5 disgusting behaviour Had my children in car bought a voucher for£20 of wowcher in March 2024 and took it . Firstly was told it was 24 hour notice . So then visited 24 hours later to be refused the £20 box and it was £50 ! I have 3 very upset children . They told me to blame wowcher . I will inform everyone who uses this company. Ruff staff and don’t go or what they say

Just been to little desert shop, to buy my daughter a dessert for her birthday, and the rest of the family, family of 5! my daughter and her sister have coeliacs disease and require a gluten free diet. When asked what desserts they had gluten free was told they don’t do gluten free, do vegetarian and vegan! I am absolutely astonished in 2024 we continue to face dietary requirements for a multitude of diets, some which are lifestyle choices, but gluten free is a no! Sorry but you have lost any future business from me when requiring cake that does contain gluten!!!

We have been here several times for afternoon tea as it's good value through Groupon. The afternoon tea is great food, however we continue to find the customer service & general environment poor. You get unlimited hot drinks, but we've never managed to get more than 2 drinks. You have to go back up to the counter, queue up & ask for them & they take about 30 mins to arrive. It always takes a really long time for them to take your order & they won't ever walk round and check if everything is ok or ask if you want anything else. As my daughter doesn't eat much we have afternoon tea for 2 and ask for a 3rd place setting, they never do it & although it's obvious there are 3 eating we always have to go and ask for a 3rd set of cutlery. The toilets are a farce. You have to walk through a storage area, the door doesn't lock & the light doesn't work. I know the shop can't control the general public, but there is nearly always someone swearing & complaining about the service whilst your trying to enjoy your visit, which isn't what you want with an 8 year old.

Came for afternoon tea. Have been a few times before but I think this will be our last. Staff seem to want to stay in the back kitchen area. When finally got seated and served and ordered our desserts told the coffee machine was broke. Our desserts were lovely as usual. Our sandwiches were not. The floor was dirty to say it had only just opened . Before we left we went to the toilet Not good door handle broke and toilet didn't flush. Shame.!! you got a 3 average for the fruit and desserts

Arrived at 11 as that is the opening time shown on the door and their website. Doors were locked and member of staff behind counter scowling at us trying to get in. She eventually came to the door and said not open until 12 now. Politeness costs nothing and on first impressions of this place and attitude of staff member we won't be going back.

A couple of us decided to pop in for coffee and cake as we'd both passed this shop so many times and were curious. Dark and unwelcoming when we went inside, no cheery greeting or any indication how to order, whether at the counter or table service. We asked for menus and chose a table to sit at whilst we made our choices. First bad sign, chair was stained and dirty, next menus grubby and sticky, water marks on the plates on the table. We were then approached by a different member if staff who asked if we had a booking? Explained that we were just choosing from the menu. Apparently the table we had chosen was reserved. No reserved sign but was told the plates on the table indicates it's reserved. Unfortunately I haven't passed any clairvoyant tests?? Decided to leave and go elsewhere, not welcome, extortionate pricing from what we could see on the menu and needs a good clean. Won't be in a hurry to try again.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We had a dipping box between four of us. There was plenty of scrumptious desserts and fruit to choose from. We couldn't eat it all, so we took it home for later. This was our third visit and we'll definitely keep visiting.

Best food ever I go at least once a week,staff are lovely very welcoming give them a try you won't be disappointed

While we enjoyed the food we had, I'm afraid the staff need extra training on customer service which was sadly lacking with the person who served us.

We HD the lunch to take away and it was lovely. The sandwiches was fresh and tasted devine. But the most amazing thing ws the waffles wow amazing. There were more then enough even had more delicious delights for the day after

Just been to The little desert shop for a treat for the family… And my my what a treat. We ordered two waffles and a shake. The waffles was packed with a good amount of topping with an exceptional taste to those taste buds. Definitely will be visiting again… 10/10… it’s a must go desert shop 👌

This was fantastic value and the sweetest tea with a non alcoholic bottle Prosecco, tea or coffee. Delicious sandwiches with amazing fruit and pancakes and fudge squares with ice cream and waffles. It was presented beautiful and the 2 ladies Tracy and Abi were absolutely fabulous, had time to chat, nothing too much trouble, they ensured our every need was taken care of thanks ladies you smashed it !!! X We would definitely come back and the staff kept the place immaculate. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon time out with family.

I’m not usually one to leave long ranty reviews on establishments, but I didn’t see much other way to express my disgust and frustration. I visited the shop in early June after hearing a few of my friends rave about the place. (And I must say that the service staff held up that reputation fantastically. I was greeted with nothing but smiling faces and positive friendly conversation) but in terms of positives that’s just about where it ends for me. I wanted to order the lick your lips cookie dough I do believe only to be told they didn’t have it in stock at the time. So I ordered alternatively as I felt quite on the spot. I understand stock runs out and mistakes in orders etc occur. But from what I’ve heard they regularly run out of most stock… anyway I wouldn’t say the desert was bad. But I wasn't convinced the cost was worth what I received. That however is not the main reason for this review. No. A few days later after deciding at home perhaps I just didn’t order the right desert for me, and wanting to give it another try I looked at ordering off just eat. But I made the mistake of reading a few reviews before I ordered. Big mistake. Not down to the actual feedback of the customers, but from the feedback from staff at the desert shop. It’s most likely one manager or the owner replying to the reviews but some of the replies, sarcasm, and outright bullying replies to some general feedback was enough to stop me ever handing over more money to that establishment. I think if you are ever deciding to go, or to order in, read the reviews on just eat beforehand. As it seems the management are extremely welcoming until you leave them even the Tiniest letter of negative feedback. It’s disgusting to read. And really soured my whole outlook on the business.

This must be the best place to have the most enjoyable meal/afternoon tea, in Nottinghamshire, do try the 🍓 sensation waffle

We were hugely disappointed with our experience at the Sutton-in-Ashfield branch.
