Went for the rugby. TV turned off and no one came to fix it. Very upsetting experience. I won’t be coming back for any important occasions…

Dropped in for a pint. A nice-looking, traditional pub, with some history behind it. The signage needed repairing, though, because 2 letters had dropped off, and for a moment I assumed it was called "The Three Wheat Heavies". Not a good look. External appearance is important. I asked for an Amstel, which was £4.20, a decent price. But the barman said they had a £5.00 limit on card transactions, so I paid by cash instead. That malarkey is so annoying. If the banking industry's determined to move us to a cashless economy, then card transactions have to be free, however small. Most pubs don't have minimum card limits, I guess because they sell a lot of pints singly. The other annoying thing was that multiple screens were blasting out horse racing with the sound on, when the pub was fairly empty and no one was watching. So though the bar rooms were cosy and pleasant, I couldn't relax with my own thoughts and left after one pint.

Had a phone call with one of the staff members and couldn't hear what they were saying as the line was breaking. Asked them to re-iterate it and they refused and arrogantly cut the call !

Such an amazing atmosphere went here on Friday as it was karaoke night had such a good night and the place is spacious and also

Service was quick, cheap pints, good music, friendly staff - not a single thing to complain about. :)

They don’t give free tap water which is not only illegal (as they are a licensed bar) and moreover medically dangerous

The revamp of the outdoor area was definitely worth it - it looks amazing and it great for groups of friends. There is large TV screens outside to engage with the activities inside of the pub which was lovely. The drinks are on the steeper side depending on what you have and this isn’t helped by the £5 minimum spend to use the card machine. However the burger van in the outside is absolutely brilliant and so fairly priced and delicious, a cheeseburger for £3.50…bargain!

One of the best student pubs in Notts. Good atmosphere and cheap drinks. Staff are lovely too and covid guidelines are enforced. 10/10

Went to this pub today for a casual drink with some friends and the service and hospitality was nothing short of disgusting. The staff were rude, abusive and most unwelcoming. Especially the ageing old witch/jag that served us, she should be banned from all hospitality estaishments. Please beware and do not visit this pub.

Fantastic place for drinks manager is so good will always help you find a table, so friendly, prices on level with wetherspoons, drinks very quick.

Manager was disgustingly rude to all of us. Bought about five drinks in an hour and was kicked out after a bottle was spotted in my bag which I was planning on using for afterwards. The drink was taken for me even though it was not being used and we were screamed and and swore at until we had left. Awful embarrassing behaviour

Excellent food very tasty washed down with a nice pint of Guinness would recommend a Sunday roast kids loved it treacle sponge is very good staff very friendly Just come from the pub up the road flaming grill was very busy and like coming on here as always Drove passed but from now on will be driving past the flaming grill to this one staff very friendly

Under new management now with the same cheap prices, seems like a very nice guvenoress and there is good music on now too!

Este es un pub de varias habitaciones ubicado firmemente en el "sendero de estudiantes" en Lenton. Pasé por un miserable final de la tarde de octubre y me hicieron sentir bienvenido.Las habitaciones del bar de la parte delantera no han cambiado mucho desde la última vez que entré (1978?). Hay varias habitaciones que conducen a una sala de billar / dardos en la parte posterior. También hay una zona de jardín al lado.Me gustaron las fotos antiguas de Nottingham, y no solo tus fotos de la Plaza del Mercado Viejo. Sherwood estación de tren a alguien?No comí, pero tenía una pinta de los mejores de Theakston muy bien de precio (sub tres quid). Largos pubs pueden sobrevivir así.

As ever Sue is on hand to serve the pints! Good service and with live TV, they do keep a good pint and a good saver menu.

¿Qué puedo decir, 2. 10 por una pinta en un buen local antiguo, no se puede pedir más. El único inconveniente es que los rasguños de cerdo y las patatas fritas son un poco caros en comparación con otros pubs. The Three Wheatsheaves on Derby Road is a little bit dated on the inside but does very reasonably priced drinks and there’s an outside area which is ideal for when it’s sunny.

Was asked to sit on my chair properly by a clearly drunk manager, which I respected. The manager then harassed me and my friends on the way out! Would recommend the Rose and crown or white heart instead, much more friendly atmosphere.

Sadly, if I could have given zero ratings I would have done so. As a large organisation we unfortunately chose to have our Christmas lunch at The Three Wheatsheaves this past week. Firstly, there were only two waiting staff to deal with our large group & although these girls worked extremely hard it became a complete fiasco & drink orders took forever to arrive. We were charged almost £13.00 per person but the portions were tiny and there was not enough food provided for the entire group. Hot food was served way before cold food so we were not able to enjoy eating our Christmas lunch together. When people began to complain about the lack of food & small portions the owner came in shouting & obviously had no care or concern that everyone was unhappy. We paid these people almost £800.00 in cash for our lunch and the majority of our group went home hungry and thoroughly disappointed. I will be reporting their disgraceful service to the brewery and other relevant authorities. You may not care about what we write here but sadly you have alienated every single one of our group who live in your community and had to unfortunately endure such a despicable shambles. PLEASE consider very carefully before making any group booking or contemplating Christmas dinner at this establishment.

We had our wedding reception here on Saturday what a big mistake we were charged £160 to decorate the room all we got was a few table cloths and 4 plants the food was a variety but not what we had asked for the welcoming drinks was stuck in jugs on a table nobody knew they was there my husband had to go round collecting glasses so we was able to have our toast our Grandson was charged £100 to watch the boxing on the TV then told he had to pay another £50 when he offered the extra money the landlord turned his back in a huff both landlords were very rude we paid for a extension until 2pm only to be told at 1pm they stopped serving and at 1.15 we was ordered to leave in a very loud ignorant manner to a siren which he pressed whilst outside waiting for taxis the police arrived went in and spoke to the landlords came out we asked what they had been called for and they didn't know the only good thing I can say is the little lady that works there and the gentleman that cut our cake up was very helpful without being rude

Was sold Kronenburg that was clearly off and the manager refused to pour new pints or refund us - despite impartial people at the bar tasting and agreeing that the beer had turned. Instead of being apologetic, he was snide and obnoxious. Won't be back.

Se trata de un pub británico fantástico que sirve comida adecuada a muy buenos precios y servicio impecable. Sinceramente, yo estaba sorprendida de lo lindo la comida era y cómo la porción era generoso. Lo mejor es que estaba servido con una sonrisa. El único problema era que había siete parecía que había un problema con la comida en el mismo tiempo, pero todo lo demás era perfecto.

The food is great, and the staff were friendly. Excellent value. This was a really nice pub serving good, honest food.
