Called on my way home from work and decided to call here for tea . Wish I hadn’t bothered wasting my money . 2 donner kebabs on pitta ordered . £18.00 plus for the privilege . Got home opened and it was the size of a 5 year olds tea . I’m totally disgusted with the food and price of what I had paid for . Will never revisit this place again. One very unhappy customer. I would not recommend to anyone.

Ordered food which came out cold then the staff tried to argue we had ordered the low calorie version even when we showed the order! The food then came out reheated ( hmmm cardboard fries always a winner). Prices increasing is tolerable but not when quality is severely impaired. We have come to this pub for years and unfortunately the food and general customer service from management has massively deteriorated. It’s a shame as the bar staff are absolutely lovely.

The Dragon is a very spacious and clean pub. The owners are very friendly and welcome everyone and the regulars are just the same. They have a large selection of beers, spirits and Hardy's wine on offer. The Sunday lunch is very nice and worth a return visit. Most nights there is some type of entertainment to be watched or to take part in. A very good pub.

A group of us have just had a lovely Christmas lunch, it was excellent. Right from the initial booking to eating and paying for our food and drink everything was excellent. We all received our food at the same time it was great quality and the service was excellent too. Thank you so much we will all be back soon.

I visited the half moon with a friend on a girls night out. On arrival to the half moon my friend went inside while I finished my cigarette. While waiting a young man was being escorted out of the building to which he then punched the pub window and then a girl. I looked at the doorman and ask if he was going to help her to which was replied 'no it's his girlfriend' I continued to smoke my cigarette to then be approached by another doorman that rubbed both his hands up and down my LV handbag that I was holding!! He then walked away saying 'that's a fake!!' To which I replied 'there is nothing fake about me' he then called me a racist which I found highly offensive and he took a picture of me on his phone?! I am sincerely disgusted in the experience of my 5 minutes outside this 'family' pub. We was finally given plastic cups to carry drinks my friend had gone inside to buy and drank them walking down a road which again I'm not sure is professional or even allowed in the uk law. I have tried to contact the manager of the pub but the contact number on google does not work so hopefully he can see from this review what customers must be experiencing if these ordeals all happened in such a short space of time.

Popped in for some dinner from staying at the hotel across the road. Scampi, salad, jacket and pepper sauce was all lovely. The only reason it’s not a five star review is because the steak wasn’t a great cut - every mouth full I had to spit some of it out due to the gristle but that’s. It the chefs fault. Service was good and the meal was good value.

First of all this place stinks of frying cooking oil , it’s really off putting, when I left I stank of frying cooking oil and so did my hair and clothes …yuk ! The toilets weren’t very clean with the toilet in particular being covered in yellow wee stains, again yuk ! We had to wait over 30 minutes to be served. Despite this , the staff were very friendly and welcoming. But if you are after a traditional afternoon tea this isn’t the one , it was cheese / ham sandwiches with a lettuce garnish and that was it for the savoury selection, no crisp or sausage rolls just poor quality sandwiches. The waffles of choice were good along with the pancakes, fruit, ice cream and melted chocolate. If you want afternoon tea in a stinky grubby little cafe then go for it, if you want traditional afternoon tea then avoid this place.
