The sunday roast was poor quality the turkey wasn't real carved turkey the pigs in blankets were not cooked had yo send back there wasn't good veg on the plate all in all will not go again . In total I paid 50 pound for 4 meals that were poor .

I'm sorry but the Sunday dinners was really bad pigs in blanket just came out the fridge sent them back to be cook the veg was spare turkey if it was turkey I couldn't eat it the stuffing ball was as big as a marble 3 slices of carrots smash potato's . WE usually ask for a doggy bag not this time didn't want to make our dog poorly.

What a disappointment again, the service & bar staff were 100% as always, I’m not one for leaving reviews but after being a regular here for 15 years it’s now hit & miss if you get a decent meal in good time & not cold, we ordered on “burger night” 3 meals which took 45 minutes to arrive bearing in mind the place wasn’t even near half capacity, when meal’s finally arrived 2 of them were incomplete with missing extras, the only one that was complete was one ordered with bacon( see photos ) the first photo is the excuse for bacon that turned up on the meal & when questioned the staff there was a bowl of what looked like a few burnt pork scratchings brought out to rectify ( second photo) which was an absolute insult after having to complain in the first place, then when we eventually began eating the meals they were all cold, eventually complained again & asked for a refund as we didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes for the same standard to be served, unfortunately had to travel & pay a little more at the broomhill inn but well worth the travel & 25 mins serving time Again bar staff 100 % but food service needs a big review by green king, you only need to lol at all the previous reviews speak for themselves,

On ordering the food we were asked by Sam if we had any allergies that she needed to made aware of. We were asked if we wanted mushy peas or garden peas and also if we wanted any bread and butter. Great up sell. Sam came and asked us if everything was okay with our food. On clearing the table, Sam asked if we wanted a desert Food was lovely. 4 of us had the Fish & Chip Friday deal. Food was hot and the fish was really nice. It was quick to arrive. Sam was friendly and attentive even though she was training and supporting a new staff member. At one point it was really busy and Sam kept her cool and took it all in her stride. Thank you

Perfect pub for families came here last week with my partner and 2 kids. Great family feel. Our table was clean and everything on their that we needed staff was amazing too they found some colouring stuff for kids to do. Wasnt waiting long for food or deserts. Couldn't fault it at all will definitely be coming again and bringing friends :)

First time visiting, won't be returning.Food is reasonably priced however the quality of the food is cheap and bland didn't enjoy my meal one bit. There was also things missing off my dinner that was on the menu, when I told a member of staff she said sorry we haven't got any that's why its delivery day today. Surely you should be telling people when they order to give them the chance to order something different. Shocking.

We came for our fourth year for Christmas Dinner. The dinner was horrendous the veg was rock hard my dinner was freezing I had to send it back we sent the veg back twice and it still wasn’t better. We had to wait a hour to get our first course then another hour to get our cold dinner when we were the first sitting this shouldn’t have been an issue. The front line staff were very apologetic but it actually spoilt our Christmas Day and made me cry. After such a rubbish year we were expecting our family of 10 to have such a lovely day like we have each other year this year was supposed to be even more special we foster and one of our children we have his brother who’s only 13 is in residential home so we had him for Christmas so he could witness what a real family Christmas is like but this was spoilt by a horrid dinner the children didn’t eat theirs and the amount of wastage was awful.

A splendid "Turkey and Tinsel" event. Friendly and helpful staff + excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere too.

We use the Nabbs often as my mum lives nearby. Always a friendly welcome! The food is always fresh and hot and the staff are very attentive.

Ordered food which came out cold then the staff tried to argue we had ordered the low calorie version even when we showed the order! The food then came out reheated ( hmmm cardboard fries always a winner). Prices increasing is tolerable but not when quality is severely impaired. We have come to this pub for years and unfortunately the food and general customer service from management has massively deteriorated. It’s a shame as the bar staff are absolutely lovely.

myself, husband and two good friends came for tea last night (16th February 2024) we had a table booked for 6.30, which was reserved on arrival for us . The service was excellent even though it was extremely busy. We had a lovely young lady named Noelle who took our food and drinks order, she was extremely patient with us as we had a problem with our blue light card. She was very polite attentive and helpful. You are very lucky to have her on your staff. We will definitely return and will recommend to anyone, as the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I came to the Nabb Inn a week ago and the food here was amazing especially the chicken wings which I come very often for!! The service was great by Katie Y, she's a brilliant server, additionally she was very polite and efficient. Chloe was great on the bar as well, she was very quick and helpful. She pours good beers with the right head I prefer on my peroni! Will be coming back to the nabb more often.

Wow, I cannot even begin to express my overwhelming gratitude for the absolutely incredible experience I had at the Nabbs Inn! This place is a true gem, and I feel incredibly blessed to have discovered it. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that made my heart sing. But the true star of the show was our server, Laura. Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Laura wasn't just a server; she was a guardian angel sent from the heavens to ensure our evening was nothing short of magical! Laura's attentiveness was out of this world. She anticipated our every need before we even realized we had them! Her knowledge of the menu was encyclopedic, and her recommendations were so spot-on that I'm convinced she has some sort of psychic ability to know exactly what would delight our taste buds. The food... oh, the food! Each dish was a masterpiece that brought tears of joy to my eyes. I've never tasted flavors so divine, and I owe it all to the culinary wizards in the kitchen and Laura's impeccable guidance in helping us choose. I cannot thank Laura and the entire staff at the Nabbs Inn enough for this life-changing dining experience. My gratitude knows no bounds, and I will be forever indebted to them for creating memories that will warm my heart for years to come. If I could give more than five stars, I would give them all the stars in the universe! Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over to Laura and the Nabbs Inn. I visited the the Nabbs Inn, and immediately incase greeted by the lovely smile of of Laura whom was on shift. She attentively served myself and my family and nothing was touch trouble, she took time to learn the the kids names and helped them to choose their food . Laura made sure that all our needs were met, I can safely say I and my family will definitely be back, thank you Laura.

Lovely pub and a great meal on the 2 for offer. Fairly busy for mid week but still got a table, bit of a queue at the bar but there was only 1 person so looked a bit short staffed, although still did a great job and didn't wait too long.

Enjoyed our first visit to the Nabb Inn. Very busy outside with it being a sunny day. Only disappointment was that there are several chargers and bays for ev's .... but when we arrived one bay was occupied by an ev that WASN'T CHARGING, and by the time we left all the other bays were occupied by either petrol or diesel cars, despite other spaces being available.

Just had a lunch break there with partner. Lovely clean pub with friendly staff and good 'pub' food. I had pie slice and it was deeelish! Lots of screens for the sport and lots of space between tables. Lovely experience and would recommend 👌

Went to the Nabbs Inn for my brother's wake Terry Hart on Tuesday 4th June it was Terry's local went there on his 65th birthday on 27th march.... .Staff was so nice and helpful and kind ..Thank you all so much ..

Chloe, our barmaid was absolutely awesome. Friendly, helpful and cheery. Bex our waitress was nice, though only saw her very briefly. The food was well presented, though 2 onion rings, whilst technically plural is a bit of a pi$$ take. The beef burgers were of good quality, though over cooked on top, and slightly burnt all round the edges. Kitchen understaffed? maybe, the food was edible, and looked lovely, though more care is required, and a more reasonable sized portion of onion rings would leave me satisfied, not feeling ripped off and tricked. Also, the onion rings and hash browns, why are these not vegan? Missing a trick there green king. Also, some more vegan deserts, rather than the usual, oft trotted out apple pie. Please, you can do so much better! Violife vegan cheese, dissapointing. Is it made from plastic bags and palm oil. Cathedral city vegan cheese is far, far superior. The chiuce and quality of Gin was lovely though!

Lovely Sunday lunch here, great little pub and I would definitely say best in Hucknall. Always great service from Chloe and especially Noelle, the barmaids. made me feel very welcome and accommodating. Hope they both get recognition for their great customer service as they are a credit to the business. 10/10 would definitely recommend and return.

Came to eat food, watch sports on TV and have a few beers. 1st choice dinner wasn't available but 2nd choice was great. Fantastic staff very helpful especially Noelle who put the Rugby on!

Swearing adults children about not good enough.

Went on Quiz Night to participate ,and was very disappointed that ALL bar one of the tables had reserved on them. The one with no reserve on it, my partner and I sat down to and we were asked to move into the bar area were no quiz could be heard. I do not agree with reserved seats in a public area, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED

Shocking service, came for drink with hubby and son, bar staff were awful didn’t know who was next to be served, one lad ordered and then 4 of of his friends came and ordered before others in queue, bar staff chattered while people waiting to be served, we left as was very disappointed, do not think we will return

Been coming to this pub now 49 years and it's still a friendly pub. Staff are brilliant specially Nula which is probably not how it's spelled well done.

For the type of pub your visiting here (A local) it's a very nice one... It's not snooty gastro establishment but they serve good food, well priced, freshly cooked. (Pub Grub). The staff were lovely, the establishment is comfortable, clean, warm and welcoming. I'm not local so chances of coming back are slim, however, if I'm in the area I wouldn't hesitate.

We played a pool match on a Monday evening and it is a fantastic warm venue with very friendly staff. The food looked that tasty that a few of us ordered the steaks and they were excellent value and quality. In particular special mention to Abi, the waitress and colin the chef and the bar lady. Would definitely recommend this pub 10/10.

Another visit to The Nabb Inn and again it was brilliant .Took advantage of the 3course seniors meal and it was delicious.Cooked and served to a high standard at a great price.Special mention for who appeared to be the manager.He never stopped working from when we arrived until the moment we left.Serving meals,socialising,cutlery drying etc.etc.👏👏👏 What more could you ask.. Well worth a visit 👏👏👏

My fiancee and i, came to this establishment for a nice lunch. My partner decided to have the lasagne with garlic bread and a side order of fries with Onion rings. I had the "build a burger" with 2 quarter pounder burgers with 1 hash brown and 3 chicken stripes with fries and 2 onion rings and an extra side order of onion rings. Due to the place being very busy i was informed promptly that there would be a 30 minute wait for my order. To be fair the order arrive spot on 30 minutes. Food was well presented and hot. Compliments to Charlie, Sam and Chef Joel for a very fine meal. Would highly recommend a visit.
