I am allergic to Garlic and often struggle to find things to eat in restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, they checked through ingredients and even offered to tweak the menu to make me something. Even though the pub is a Hungry Horse, the staff made it feel like a local, rather than a franchise.

Not a great experience. After the prompt taking of our order, it took a seemingly endless hour for our starters to arrive at our table. Unfortunately, the meal we had was unsatisfactory. Not only was one starter unappetising, but four of the main dishes were also disappointing, prompting us to decline payment for them. We did not get a table check, even though we were assured it had been done. Unfortunately, due to the lack of staff, we were unable to catch anyone's attention to express our concerns at the time. It was a lengthy process for our plates to be cleared, taking a good half hour before they were finally removed. By this time, some staff had already finished their shifts and were sitting around, while others were busy cashing up and wiping down. Despite the fact that we had finished our meal, no one from the restaurant staff came to our table to offer us a dessert menu or inquire about our interest in tea or coffee. As a result, we were left sitting there with our unfinished plates, feeling slightly neglected by the lack of attention from the staff. After what seemed like an eternity, the tables were finally cleared, and we were able to raise our concerns. However, we were informed that the reason the table was not cleared earlier was because some of us had been picking at our food, leading the staff to believe that we were still in the process of eating. It is a beautiful pub with a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the experience has led us to the decision that we will not return.

What on earth happened Used to be great this place Awful customer service now and as for the food, just don't bother. I asked a check wrap and chips with salad. No salad only mayo and that took 3 times of asking And I ended up with a cheap and awful battered chicken burger cut into pieces to make my chicken wrap The chips were half ok but not really cooked properly and were soggy Really odd how it's also an off license and general shop too They need to focus on just being a chippy again

This is a response to a previous reply from The Queens Head. Yes we did opt to keep the Prosecco but we were not aware of the expense As a chef myself I would never have served the food. Even the staff were embarrassed to serve it We had waited so long we ate what was edible but we won’t return anytime soon Buyer beware

Really good food (quite a long way ahead of other pubs in the area), great drinks and a great pint of Guinness. The place also looks great, they obviously spent a lot on the refit. Would be a 5 star review but the pub was not heated when I visited, like others we spent some time drinking with coats in then gave up and moved on to others that were all heated.

We visited today (22.12.2024). We had booked a table online 1 week in advance for 11 - for a Xmas catchup with family. We were greeted with nobody.. waited to be seated with small kids.. to be told the table had been cancelled by the online farmhouse inns team - even after we confirmed our booking with the place on the phone a few days before. We eventually got a table after a member of management said "i had to move some tables around to accommodate you all".. our food came out incorrectly with a member if my family who is vegan did not receive the correct food content as the vegan chilli clearly advertised on the menu, to which they served with just initially cheese.. they then changed for another plate of nachos with sauces .. And then 3rd time round came out correctly. We were told we have a 2 hour time limit on the table as they were busy due to Xmas bookings.. we said we understood even thougg we had booked for the extra 30 mins which is all we needed.. we said we would leave but wanted to carry on having some more drinks .. to which the staff member said we HAVE to leave and give up our table and they were unsure if they could accommodate drinks for us somewhere else. We ended up staying on the table after being told 'we have had to move other people and tables around to accommodate you" the person serving our food was great.. the member of management was sorry to say very rude, not very accommodating and was clearly annoyed when the vegan food was / had to be changed. I always leave reviews for great service working in retail myself.. but I felt today was a terrible experience for us and understand the importance of service and customer experience.. we understood and understand it's a busy time of year but my gosh we were overwhelmed with the responses we got them questioned.. we remained patient and calm and understood it's a busy weekend.. we spent some decent money in there my came to £230 .. food when correct and served was very good on a plus. Sorry team Lutterworth FarmhouseInns.. but we told you we were coming and travelling from Northampton, Leicester and MK.. and our expected duration of stay, but you let us down massively. Unacceptable sorry. My booking reference; DMN - 16885494540
