I recently stopped by The Three Crowns in Nottingham on Saturday 26th around 6pm, but I left without ordering due to the incredibly rude and dismissive treatment I received. When I mentioned my gluten and dairy intolerances, the staff's attitude quickly made it clear that my dietary needs were seen as a hassle rather than something they’d willingly accommodate. It felt like they were more worried about being sued than creating an inclusive eating experience for all their customers. The manager’s behavior was especially disappointing. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, they interrupted with a snide comment about "having a process" in a way that felt entirely dismissive and unprofessional. It was shocking to be treated this way over a basic request for allergy accommodations. While some of the younger staff were polite, they still need much better training in how to handle allergy-related inquiries without making customers feel like a burden. It's a shame because it's such a nice pub, and was somewhere I could have imagined revisiting multiple times if this experience hadn't have happened.

Absolutely dead when I went, more staff than punters, 5 pound plus for a pint of beer, no dj, just background music, on a Friday night, in the centre of Notts, ummmm.

It's ok. Good food n drinks, very busy. Just seems to lack an identity. But lots of teles if you like your sport

This place was busy for a Sunday night, but there was football on the big screens! We still got served at the bar quickly. There is a good selection of beers on tap and in the fridges, including Newcastle Brown, which is a plus for me! I had to use the toilet whilst here. They are in need of a refit, but saying that they were very clean and smelt nice! We didn't have food on this occasion, but we have eaten her in the past, food is good and at a good price, many have a beer or soft drink included.

Came here with my friend and had the mixed grill and the smothered chicken, both look and taste amazing, got a side portion of coleslaw and onion rings and the portions are amazing, you get plenty for you money and the food is superb, the lady behind the bar was so so lovely

We spent a Saturday night here and the music and ambiance were really great. Unfortunately, the kitchen is closed to early (8h30 pm). Then we had to leave our group of friends for a while while to grab something to eat somewhere else.

Lively atmosphere and clean establishment. A nice place for a drink. Reasonable prices, especially during happy hour.

Lovely bar with good options, I was served by a very polite and friendly barman called Callum who made my experience even better!

Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always serving with a smile. Callum is an absolute legend. Can't recommend enough for a nice evening at very reasonable prices.

Really nice went on Saturday 17th august really nice went for a couple of drinks with my mate we both really enjoyed it all the staff where really nice patient with me and my mate when we went to the bar to get drinks would definitely recommend this nice restaurant

This pub is on an upper parliament street in the city of Nottingham. Service was ok. Prices are reasonable. Decent choices of beers. Staff customer service skills were good. There are big TVs up on the walls for watching different sports. The staff did their best to keep the pub tidy. There is an upstairs but I never went up there. At the weekends a DJ plays music from the past 50 years, an opportunity to have a boogie if you so wish

The Three Crowns has an excellent atmosphere. The drinks are cheap and the party vibe is always there. Babek is a wonderful server and I was impressed by his attention to detail.

We visited at a fairly quiet time, plenty of comfortable seating available. The food ordered arrived quite quickly and was very tasty and hot. Would visit again.

I'm really disappointed because they didn't want to accept my polish id. They said it's not international, even though it was saying ''date of birth ". I'm 27 and two of my friends had theirs English ids, bus we still couldn't get a drink.

Had a really great time at the Three Crowns, pre-ordered food and booked a table for a large group but the staff was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were served food very quickly and our table was placed perfectly to watch the six nations. Would highly recommend !

Great pub one of my many favourites in Nottingham.

It is the place where I had the worst experience of my life. We were a large group of girls and my husband. We just arrived and my friends went in first, I was in the back. While I was almost in the middle of the place following my friends who were looking for a place to settle down to buy food or some drinks a man came up to me and told me come, come to me or something like that . To be honest with the noise of the place I didn't understand properly what he was saying but the first thing that came to my mind was that he was a drunk man trying to bother, I was getting scared because I thought he was an old stalker and that he wanted to bother because he had the face of being like that since At first he spoke to me very aggressively. As I try to not pay attention to him, he decided to grab my hand and start pulling me outside, I pushed myself towards him because obviously he scared me, at all times he looked like an old stalker. Since I didn't want to go with him constantly but in the middle time I was asking why and what happened?.. he still very aggressively decided to approach me, very upset, he grabbed my body with his arms, he pressed me hard and started to pull me out and I continued asked him loudly to let me go and I asked him why he was doing that and he just told me “go outside” all the time and nothing else, very upset, very aggressive. I can imagine that he is a man who was not taught education in his life. When he managed to push me outside, then I only realized that all that commotion was about the plastic glass of beer that I had in my hand from a previous bar and that I wasn’t allowed to bring drinks inside and that he was the security guy. I realized that by myself because of the context and my husband said I think is because of the drinks that we have in our hands, because he also had another drink but nobody noticed, the old man just noticed mine. I wonder, didn't they teach him to speak? He doesn't know that he just had to get closer, talk to me louder or maybe tell me, excuse me, you can't come in with a glass or drinks inside!! Simply as that!!! TALK!! SPEAK!! And not be aggressive and Neanderthal like how he behaved. If he had told me CLEAR AND LOUD (It is not allowed to enter with drinks from outside) I would have understood perfectly and left immediately I would have apologized and I would have left and thrown my drink in a bin outside and maybe come back in, apologizing or maybe not anymore. I mean I would have respected and understood. He just needed to use good behavior and show some respect. Because things are supposed to be solved by talking. I don’t go out that often but it was a very traumatic experience to have to live through such an ugly and aggressive experience from a man who just had to raise his voice a little more and approach to me correctly, without being aggressive and talk to me and explain to me what the problem was. He should never have putted a finger on me, he had no reason to put his hands on my body and grab me like that. I didn't look drunk at all, much less in bad shape. I was in perfect condition. I would recommend the owner of the place to at least buy them some vests that say security. That way I would have realized that he was someone who I really needed to pay attention, I would have realized that the he was the security and not some old stalker. How am I supposed to distinguish him? as a fortune teller? What a lack of education really. When I was outside another security guy there was more kind and he listened to me. And I was asking him why that old man couldn’t just speak and explain I would have understood. Then when I saw the old man near there already outside in the door. And things were a bit more calmly… … I asked don't you have a mother? A daughter? Or a sister? Can you imagine that they treat one of them like this? Do you think that is ok? I hope that this way he understood that it is not necessary to use violence or aggression to get things done. Just talk.

Absolutely lovely place. The food was lovely, the staff were fantastic, and the whole atmosphere was awesome. Went for a work retirement today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had the gammon, which was lovely, juicy, and tender, and the chips were so good, crispy and tasty. There were a few of us and the cocktails were flowing. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The price of the food and cocktails were really good value for money. Will definitely go back here again.

Did not disappoint, it was lovely, cauliflower wings were the best we've had ANYWHERE and the burgers and pizzas were delicious. Didn't have dessert, we were full as the portions are really good and sorry, no pic as forgot to take one but it was lovely from start to finish. Atmosphere is good, typical British pub vibe and the service was superb, with really polite, cheerful staff, so helpful, and as a vegetarian it's hard to find good eateries but we will definitely be dining here again, so reasonably priced and they couldn't do enough for us, bravo!

Came with our 6yrs old son great atmosphere, staff service was amazing and the food was great clean plates all around ,10/10 guys keep doing what your doing, we will be back 😀

The staff are friendly. It took a little while to make the tea and coffee, of which we had to carry to our table. The 2 x rump philly steak ciabatta was not very nice. There were both very tough and chewy and cooked too well done. 1 x was eaten with a struggle. However, the other couldn't be eaten as it was just too tough to chew, or it was just gristle. The bbq pulled 0erk flatbread was OK. However the flat bread was too dry and crispy. On a lighter note the soak and Guinness pie was said to lovely.

Food was nice, was very loud downstairs so sat upstairs on a busy football Saturday afternoon. Panni and fries were good, garlic bread & cheese was pizza size and great value for the price.
