Arrow Farm is a nice place with good food, good coffee and scones. The staff are always friendly and attentive...'Thereby lies the rub'...sometimes the staff are over attentive bombarding you with 'can I get you more drinks' ? or 'can I get you drinks whilst you are waiting' ?...It seems to me this is management policy.A little annoying..

Called in for a coffee was very disappointed with the place. It was dirty and scruffy, doesn’t look as though it’s been cleaned in months. The toilet facilities were disgusting as for the food, was this a Bakewell tart as there was no sign of the usual recipe. It was soft the pastry was disgusting I would not recommend this place as they need to close it and give it a good facelift. They also need Gordon Ramsey on the case!!!!!!

My custom was turned away. Could not get a coffee from main restaurant as they were short staffed and couldn’t provide table service……I didn’t want table service, just a cup of coffee to take upstairs. Never had a problem before, me and my husband come here most weeks and have drinks and I am quite appalled at the treatment I received today! Sort yourselves out and treat your regulars better and while I am writing this, the noise levels and cleanliness is much to be desired!

Good points - Service was spot on, Lady behind bar superb, other staff excellent Not so good points -. I am afraid however the mothers day menu left much to be desired. Sirloin steaks were the thinnest I have ever seen, tasty yes, but served with a few whole Brussel sprouts ( Really ) and chunky chips, some combination. The chicken curry was spicy and again tasty but was Luke warm. Lamb shank excellent, Prawns very tasty. Starters were good. I just wondered why you didn't just provided your superb carvery on the day. I will be back to sample your menu, in due course - but when Fathers Day comes, it would be nice to have the option.

Been here a few times and always seem to regret it when the bill comes out. Working farm is a good atmosphere, nice food, OK staff, eye-wateringly expensive prices to the point you're better off going somewhere - ANYWHERE - else. Decided now won't be going back.

Visited with my wife and friends. Must say we had no complaints about the food which was excellent. I haven't given it full marks because it was so cold in the area where we sat. My wife asked if we could move into the room where the fire was as at that time nobody was sat in there but was told that we couldn't. Will wait until summer before we return.

Me and my mate visited Nando’s last night and both had the Fino Pitta in medium spice. The food tasted good, but my friend was missing a chicken thigh in his pitta. After a polite chat with the manager, this was quickly sorted. Unfortunately, our portions of spiced rice were tiny and undercooked, but again, the manager made up for it by offering us two complimentary cheesecakes. They were nice enough, but I wouldn’t have paid full price for them. We ordered via the app at the table but had to remind staff to bring glasses for our drinks. Despite the 25-minute wait for a table, the restaurant wasn’t that busy, which seemed a bit odd—especially considering the number of complaints we overheard from other tables. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service was a bit hit-and-miss. The manager did their best to rectify issues, but I’d expect better for the price.

I had been recommended this as a family place for food and entertainment. We were a party of 8 - 6 adults and two children. My son, daughter in law and my grandchildren had come for the day, so had to drive back to the midlands. We arrived at 6.20pm and ordered food for us all. There was only one other table that had been served while we waited. The grandchildren went into the soft play area and enjoyed that. Then they asked about the food and time was ticking on. Then a lady entertainer came on and she was absolutely brilliant with the kids. Not one child was left out, she involved them all and was fantastic at her job. ***** After over an hour wait for food my son went to the bar to ask about the food ( we wouldn’t of minded ) if lots of people were eating but there wasn’t. It wasn’t mega busy either. When the food did come it was very nice and it was just such a shame we had to wait so long. And my family had to leave later than planed to go home.
