The best restaurants in East Midlands

Really fantastic authentic and delicious although I would say I would like more vegetarian options even getting the mozzarella bites came with a source that had meat in it I wasn't aware of that.

Has been a chippy I used from being a small boy now nearly 50 still 1 of the best sadly I live in Scotland now but had to visit on a recent trip south

Romantic night with my husband to get out and enjoy each others company. Softleys can never do enough, attentive staff, go the extra mile to make your experience special. The atmosphere is magic and several regulars obviously have a fantastic report with this restaurant which include many locals. The food is delicious 5 star, and always has so many tasty morsels as finishing touches. I had medallions of beef, it was melt in the mouth, the pepper sauce complimented it, with chalets and parsnip crispy ribbons, 3 time fried chunky chips, the vegetable bowl is included in the meal. Last time I ask for them to adapt a pud as I could not eat cream and they did. They just really want you to enjoy your food. There's not too many great restaurants who care so much. Love this place.❤️

I have been to this tea room on my own and with friends, always fabulous service and great value for money. The paninis are delicious as is the chocolate stout cake, not to mention the cheesy chips ! Great place to stop off when you're out walking, always friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend

The food is always fresh and tasty! I must point out that the service and food is fantastic even when they are busy. I only dine in a few times a year but they manage remember me.

I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. Went for a family celebration for our daughters 30th. Two of us being veggie. The setting is beautiful and there's a wonderful choice of food, the Zaloush bruschetta starter was beautiful, we said we could eat it as a main dish all day long. Some fantastic choices for all for the mains but we plumped for the amazing pizzas. They're more than happy to tweak to your tastes too. The waitresses were lovely and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food quality for money customer service really good

Service ladies were so lovely and good laugh. Atmosphere was really warm and cosy, like you are in a house in the country. Food knocked ma prosthetic leg off. Best garlic bread and espresso Martini I've ever had. Going to come back when back down this way.

Could do with guest beers and a better choice, lovely beer garden for families
