Popped in for a quick pint. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. And they sell BIG bags of crisps. Bonus!

Food was good, some veg a little undercooked for my taste.

Naggs Head Harby Quiet and quaint village pub. Booked in for afternoon dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful ,choice of good beers. Food  excellent steak cooked to perfection one of the best mixed salads , and crispy battered onion rings.the best cider and pork pie . Good selection of puddings try the apple and rurbarb with custard. Would highly recommend a visit to this pub. It also has themed nightly venues and live music.

Went in for the first time since I left the village some 25 years ago, and what a pleasure it was. Staff superb, service and drinks top quality. Cannot recommend this place enough 😊

Another lovely Sunday lunch at this typical village pub. A great atmosphere too. The roast beef was just delicious and chocolate brownie to die for! I love it here!

Okay, so we always come here at weekends and we absolutely love it. The food is great. Staff are great and it’s such a cosy pub HOWEVER. We decided to visit during the week. This was the biggest mistake we made. Full of territorial locals who want to make sure you know it’s ‘their’ pub. I find it very immature that middle aged men act like this. Whenever needing to order from the bar, the locals will stand at the bar leaving no gaps, they do NOT move for you and the bar staff do not acknowledge you either. You have to physically force yourself through and the locals look at you like you have 5 heads. A very unpleasant experience as we thought the staff would have been more stricter with the men standing at the bar not moving (even though there’s tables to sit at) I feel like this is learnt behaviour and the owners of the pub could do more for this as after my encounter here, speaking to a few friends apparently this is a known pub to not visit during the week because of the locals. From this experience we will not be visiting again. Such a shame because it’s a beautiful pub, great food (the food really is amazing!)and certain staff are great! The locals just completely ruin it with their silly immature behaviour. I really do not recommend visiting this pub during the week. Clique, weird atmosphere.

Popped in here for some food and drink when cycling London to Leeds. Nice pub and the staff were really friendly.

A lovely country pub with fantastic food, a decent range of brews & seating indoor & out. All meals are good, burgers area a bit special & the Eton Mess is VERY special.

Love it here. Regular spot to drop in for a drink, snack, meal or Sunday lunch. Always done well. Roast turkey is a favourite. Great service, great atmosphere. I hope they change nothing.

Simply my favourite pub in the Vale, and that's saying something coz there's some crackers. Great for a drink in the summer or Sunday lunch in the winter. Well recommend.

My only complaint was thst it was a little cold inside, there was a fire but it wasn't lit.

Exactly how and English pub should be...

We pulled up to the chefs outside smoking so that wasn’t a good start. Staff were pleasant and found us a table even tho we hadn’t got a reservation but all dressed very casual (Jeans and trainers). Food was average. The pub did not represent the same quality at the websites photos. Nice little pub just not what we had expected from viewing the website and the local area of Belvior.

Great food, good surroundings, great parking and good music, catering for a large group.

Something has changed. We had to find staff for the menus, get our own cutlery and condiments and find the staff again to order. It was an hour from arrival to receiving our food. We felt VERY unwelcome. We sat outside. One other table occupied. 3 tables inside were occupied so they weren't busy. Having been there lots of times before I asked if all was well and got an almost rude answer. Maybe we need to find another place for our Wednesday lunches.....

Great local pub with amazing food. A hidden gem. Service takes a while because everything is made fresh but its a great place to sit wait and have a few drinks.

Nice stop off on the bike, had the camembert starter as a main and the halloumi burger, have stopped in before midweek and always seems busy for food but glad I waited as was definitely worth it, very tasty! Dog friendly, would recommend.

Lovely pub with a great beer garden. The kebab and pizza nights are fab. This has been a regular stop for me when cycling in the area.

The staff were nice and the customers friendly. Our starters were lovely, but the chips looked like they were warmed up from the day before, and the burgers were just minced meat on a bun that fell apart when you picked them up to eat. Definitely wouldn't recommend them. The bubble and squeak mash and sausages were lovely.

Popped in on a whim as out on bike for a bimble around. Had cheese burger and fries just simple but executed perfectly homemade chips coleslaw and burger even the bun was warmed under grill plus great service definitely visiting for dinner soon

I visited with a friend last night as she heard about the burgers! We weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We sat outside in the lovely beer garden and service was impeccable and friendly.

Really nice food, the homemade pie was particularly good.

Went for Sunday lunch as recommended, had the beef, tough and I wasn't able to eat it, when asked if everything was ok I explained this , oh I will let the kitchen know......end of discussion .....let's just say I won't be going again

Another fabulous meal at this old traditional pub. Came with 3 friends for birthday lunch. The beer was spot on, had Bombardier. We all had fish and chips, It was up there with the best I've ever eaten and for dessert white chocolate cheese cake with icecream which again was superb. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

I made a last minute decision to pop to the Nags Head for some food early on Saturday evening. I hadn't had the foresight to book and it was very busy when I arrived, but Lauren managed to fit us in. The whole experience was great, we had a combination of burgers and some kids meals and the whole lot was amazing. My only suggestion would be, make sure you book, as you will be missing out if you don't.

We were staying in Harby for a couple of nights so decided to give The Nags Head a visit . Wasn’t disappointed, the food was really tasty and the friendly welcome I got from Amy was spot on. And from her colleague ( of which I didn’t catch her name, young thin blonde haired girl) . Service was really good. Shall re -visit .

They always have absolutely stunning food , but tonight they had a kebab night omg .... Literally the best kebab I’ve ever had Everything’s made so well , the chefs are legends

Super meal for my brothers birthday. They accommodated a wheelchair user and 3 small children with ease. Great food and super service. Highly recommended.

Not great food was overpriced Service ridiculously slow Ordered drinks at the table as the bar was jam packed 25 minute wait before they came back for food order Food took a further half hour or so to come Again 25-minute wait after the last person had finished before desert order was taken yet again a further 25-30 minute wait before it arrived Toilets poor ladies I am told aren't much better Also top tip please make the smokers stand away from the entrance to the building and toilets it's not nice having to walk through a cloud every time you want to want to enter or leave the building for the toilets

We are so grateful for the kindness of the staff at the Nag's Head. My mum, Heather, loved coming here for the delicious food and since being diagnosed with terminal cancer one of the few things she keeps craving is their prawn cocktail. She doesn't have a great appetite at the moment and is now unable to leave home but the team have sorted her out the prawn cocktail to have at home and it has cheered her up no end, she's eaten her way through it a bit at a time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing her joy and helping us to let her eat at this time xx

The Sunday lunch here is really good, costs a little more than the average place but you get what you pay for and The Nags Head is above average.

What a delight it is to be back in the Naggs head at Harby on a Sunday. The food is exceptional, the Roast dinner are exactly as the should be. Beautiful tender meat with an assortment of fresh vegetables and a crisp Yorkie. The Naggs has a lovely cosy atmosphere inside. The low beams add a sense of history to any occasion. The staff are all top notch. Attentive and always with a smile, the warmth of welcome is genuine and the feeling of being amongst friends is evident. Paul is a knowledgeable and very likeable waiter come barman who has an enviable repertoire and excellent knowledge of the beer on offer. In summary I cannot recommend the Naggs head highly enough. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
