Our group ate from the fixed price menu and a la carte. All food absolutely stunning with excellent service and ambience. Overall, great value for money and would highly recommend. Our waiter also suggested the Grillo feudo arancio white wine, delicious!

Hands down the best Italian in Nottingham. I’ve been several times and it’s never anything less than perfect. The 2 courses for £19.95 offer is an absolute bargain.

There are no words to describe this fabulous eatery! The best Italian I have ever been to ( and I've been to a few!) Amazing food, fabulous staff! Really rate it and will be back- sadly I don't live in Nottingham but visit relatives.

I had my birthday meal with my friends booked for 8 people. An older man was our waiter, extremely rude and arrogant. Also smelled very bad, very unhygienic. We spent the meal listening to his very out of place and unnecessary “jokes”. He thought he was funny, but actually was just rude to everyone. Put our moods down the second we sat down. It got to the point where we all started talking back to him, and he didn’t stop. When my cake came out he ASKED FOR SLICES FOR EVERYONE. He also told us how it stained his hands and he had to wash them 3 times. I cut a slice for HIM to try it and he shouted across the restaurant how small the slice was?? I am PAYING for your food and service. I planned to be polite and leave some behind, which I quickly changed my mind about afterwards. I spoke to my friends loudly how I will refuse to pay the service charge because the waiter was nothing but arrogant and stuck up. Please learn how to not ruin people’s parties and how to keep your professionalism. We are not your friends, we’re just customers. I am lucky to be living here and working in hospitality, I will make sure your customers are aware of how your service looks. This was a very special night for me, and this restaurant ruined it.

Great food and a good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Dropped in on the off chance on a Friday night but they managed to fit us in as it was early, but it was full all night. Food and service excellent and the fish stew was to die for. Great atmosphere and staff have a good laugh with the customers too. Reasonably priced, there is not much to fault here. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited several times never disappointed would highly recommend

I've been a couple of times now and I keep coming back because it is 100% the best Italian restaurant in Notts. The food is absolutely delicious, never leave a single scrap on my plate because it's just too good! I highly recommend booking a table if you want to come here, especially during the peak times. I also really enjoy that they play songs from the 50s/60s here too, although it is often so busy and bustling that you might not hear the music too well. The receptionist was very rude for no reason, the waiting staff were great.

Unfortunately the texture of our pasta was very gritty, the taste was still ok. When we spoke to the staff about this, they told us it was normal to have gritty seafood. It was grit in the sauce of the pasta. Instead of apologising, they just said it can’t be helped.

Wow, this place is amazing. The food is exceptional. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The service first class. If I am ever in Nottingham again, this will be the first place I will make a reservation. Thanks to all of the team, you were wonderful!!!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant. Four of us ladies went to the Theatre Royal, and I found Casa on trip advisor., many good reviews, so thought we would give it a go. Everything was superb, the venue the staff and delicious food. Such a shame we had to get the train back to Peterborough or we would have stayed longer. Wish It was open at lunchtimes, Will definitely be visiting again.

Very lovely food! Picked items off the lunch/daytime deal and they had good vegan options. Service was fab, attentive and put a candle on my partner’s dessert for his bday as well as giving us some limoncello on the house which was so sweet of them! Thank you so much.

We celebrated my daughter’s 25th birthday. The staff are so professional and courteous, especially Francesco who was our main waiter. It’s the first time I’ve eaten there and I’ll definitely be going back! The food is exquisite and the atmosphere is amazing! We were 9 altogether and we even had a birthday cake that which we brought with us that we had as our dessert. A fantastic evening out at Casa!!

We enjoyed a superb evening celebrating our wedding anniversary in July. The service was welcoming, extremely helpful with my food intolerance and informed about Italian cuisine. The food was excellent and the best calamari considering we'd just had a week in Calabria. Fabulous Apassimento from Puglia.

Me and my partner come here often usually. However even after having some time away they still acknowledge and remember us when we come back and make us feel welcome on a personal level. I don’t know how they do it but they know what we like to drink, how I like my steak cooked. I used to use the other restaurant Veniza which is also as good however Cassa Is closer to me for travel. So that’s my review on service. The food is also excellent and never disappoints, the best fillet steak I have had is at this location. Overall this is my go to restaurant in the East Midlands for fine dining. Thank you for your service! Andy & Kornelia

Last minute booking best place ever

First visit last weekend. Very welcoming and friendly service. All the food was excellent - mussels, crab ravioli - superb. Great atmosphere, we will definitely be returning!

Super staff, pleasant decor and delightful food

Wow,what a little gem of a find this place is.6 of us went in for a meal before a kids show at the theatre round the corner and we had the fixed price 2 course for £19.95 and what a bargain it was.i opted for the carbonara and the pannacotta it was absolutely Devine!!!my wife had a bruschetta starter and king prawn linguine which looked amazing and plentiful,we shared a cheesy garlic bread at an extra cost and it was well worth it.we had a couple of cocktails and they were strong and fresh.service was bang on point,polite and friendly.cant wait to come back again probably for a tomahawk to share cos it’s a lovely little place and the food is out this world.top notch

This is my second time here. I was dragged here as it was booked by my daughter. The site in Saxondale is much better I thought, but I've only been in there once and it was many years ago when it first opened. In an Italian restaurant one expects the taste and quality of the food to completely blow your senses. I had the seafood pasta. It wasn't the most generous helping so even though I don't eat much these days I was a bit peckish. I just didn't get the wow factor that I was looking for. We ran up a bill coming to about three hundred pounds so it wasn't cheap but I felt I could have made better at home. Maybe I was too tired or a bit fed up with the intensity of activity last few weeks but the experience was not pleasurable.

Having stumbled across this place, my only regret is not finding it sooner! From start to finish, the service, presentation, and quality of food were exceptional. I say this, even though one of the main courses turned up after everyone had finished theirs. The reason I do, is because of the way it was handled. The servers were extremely quick to apologise and immediately gave our table a complimentary round of drinks (totalling nearly £30). Whilst not ideal, they couldn't have apologised more and ensured we were compensated, without us having to ask....and that's the difference between an average and exceptional restaurant. I can't recommend this place high enough and would recommend anyone give it a try. They've even won the best Italian restaurant in 2024, not that I need any excuses to want to return.

What a lovely friendly place to get a meal. Went whilst visiting Nottingham and were made very welcome. I had crab ravioli and my partner had the meatballs. The only reason for the 4 on food was that he thought them tasty, but a bit dry. Had a really enjoyable evening.

It's open until late, making it a rare restaurant you can go to on a Sunday night. Had a great time with friends and the food was delicious.

Food was exceptional and the timing of the food was bang on . Our guests was abit l8 arriving and enjoyed there stay and thought there Food was also exceptional. Just 1 or 2 downfalls on what was an exceptional meal . I ordered a Cranberry juice which seemed to be watered doon . 2 was the service charge of nearly £25.00 which was on the bill even tho we got a meal that cost 7 people £244.00 and then youse got a service charge on top . Didn't understand the service charge isn't that there jobs to settle and help the customer !! 8/10

Second visit, food was excellent, very tasty, hot, and fresh. The waiting staff were polite, friendly, and courteous with prompt service. Lovely restaurant, busy, but you're not sat too close to the other tables. Reasonably priced, with good food portions. We will be returning.

Don’t order Lamp inorder to save your money

Waited 30min to be served. No apology. Said there was a children's menu there wasn't so we left, without ordering.

A first visit for me last week. My partner was very complimentary about it. Old fashioned looking place with the 1980s’ type lighting on the front windows, and the look and feel of the place in general. If somebody had told me it was 1994 in there visually at least, I wouldn’t have argued with them. Still, a feel of the past is not necessarily a bad thing. The food was very good and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Cost, at just over £100, I thought, for two people was reasonable for three courses, wine. beer and liquor coffee. Overall definitely a four stars experience, not quite making five for me. I would certainly visit again, but in all honesty, there are other restaurants in Nottingham I would choose above it.

First visit. Food and service excellent although drinks were on the expensive side.

Pretty good overall on the £20 meal deal for two courses. Needed a veg with the pork dish. Which also was not loin but fillet? The chicken has veg but not the pork? Needs balance. Potatoes needed to be deep fried to crisp up but otherwise good. Meatballs potentially microwaved. Sauce good but very hot and the balls a bit too firm. They need some pecorino cheese and breadcrumb to be lighter. Mouth feel is so much better when you do this also makes the meat go further. Good portion size though. Tomato sauce good. Also two pieces of bread would be nice on the starter. Value??? Needs the deal otherwise would be pricey. Drinks expensive! Atmosphere ok. Quiet and a lot of old people, but that's ok. Need more options on the deal. I would not pay over £15 for premade ravioli? Also maybe a nice freebie extra dish would be cool? Not bad for a quick meal.

Excellent meal last night. A great Italian restaurant we all had starters, mains and desserts and they were all excellent. Meatballs for starter are super and the tiramisu was fabulous. Great decor inside and the staff were very good.

We have been a few times and always enjoy Casa. However, I wanted to leave a review as I felt that the staff exceeded themselves on our recent visit. From the moment we arrived with our one year old they made a big fuss of him - giving him fresh fruit and things to play with. Nothing was too much trouble for them sorting his child’s portion of whatever pasta we wanted. As for our meal - the food as always was excellent and the fixed price menu is great. Highly recommend

We had a good evening at Casa on our visit to Nottingham. The portions were good and there were clearly labelled vegan options. The restaurant was getting busy, so the service felt a little pressured. But the atmosphere this Thursday evening was comfortable and warm.

Can highly recommend this restaurant, delicious food with 5 star service. Even though the restaurant was full to capacity the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning!

Absolutely gorgeous place! The atmosphere is amazing and beautiful and the food is divine! It's pricey so would recommend doing the 2 course meal before 6pm. My partner had the lobster ravioli - it was delicious but there was only four pieces so not filling at all! Also the chocolate fondant was also very small portion wise too. I had the fish stew and it was amazing and actually.super filling!

Went last night for first time and it did not disappoint. Service was impeccable, atmosphere was lovely. The star of the show was the food - amazing! We had the crab ravioli and tiramisu, fish stew and almond parfait- it was so so good. Best meal we have had in years ,anywhere. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Location curata, personale gentile e preparato. Tuttavia quel che abbiamo mangiato non corrispondeva alle nostre aspettative. È un locale che sicuramente incontrerà i gusti di un cliente locale, che probabilmente (e giustamente) ha adattato la cucina per soddisfare i loro gusti. Buona la carta dei vini e il dolce

Fantastic. We originally had a table for 13 booked and unfortunately our numbers dwindled to 9 for various reasons, the restaurant rang me on the day to confirm numbers which I was grateful for because I was intending to ring them myself when I had the time. They had no issue with alterations. The venue was smart and attended to yet not overly pushy. Our group felt at home and relaxed. The menu has so much to offer that I could keep going again and again with something new to order each time. The starters and mains came out with perfect timing. Among us we could not pick a fault with the food. Thank you, Casa for a great meal and great service.

We had our office Christmas party here. As always the food was beautiful & the staff friendly, attentive & helpful. Many of us had been here before & nobody had a bad word to say, which is a rarity! This restaurant is always on point. Can't recommend it highly enough.
