Delivery was extended to a further half hour, making it over 1 hour, although they did let us know all the way.

Almost 2 and half hours from ordering on a Thursday night. We were all past it and no longer wanted it. Kids had some crisps and went to bed instead of waiting. Called place twice and lied to on both occasions.

Was cold and did not taste anything like a dansak… naan was undercooked and doughy and not a hint of pishwari in it…. And it was late too… not good at all

Food was good, 7.5/10, was piping hot still when delivered, delivery driver was very friendly.

Wasn't expecting such a huge amount of food, absolutely delicious, will definitely be ordering again.

Was 5 star but we ordered today and the chips and cheese had hardly any cheese on them the chips were hard and also the kebab was dry and hard like it had been sat out for ages very disappointing

So disappointed used this place for year's and years and so disappointed the kebab meat is so hard it could break your teeth. The chips and cheese had the tiniest bit of cheese on one side i had to grate more and put it on for the kids not good!

delivery was good, shame the food wasn't very good decided to order something different, usually order the curry which is loverly the food we got today was bland, and lukewarm at best, donner meat was cooked to within an inch of it's life, only saving grace was that the onion baji was nice. won't be ordering anything from here again.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered for 5 people, not one of us finished our meal due to the terrible quality. Definitely will not be ordering again. Such a shame, used to be a beautiful curry from here

Was a beautiful chicken biryani curry’s sauce was lovely so was the chapati and poppadoms

Dansak had no heat and was soggy. Rice was bland with no flavour. "Chilli naan" was a naan bread with three tiny jalapeños pressed in. I will never order from here again.

I ordered chicken tikka well I thought chicken tikka was red this was just a brown powdery mess no salad no sauces and as for the keema curry no taste at all and resembled shepherds pie without the mash all went in the bin

Onion bhaji inedible tasted like pure salt. Pasanda sauce was thicker than semolina and lumpy. Naan bread was thinner than a slice of normal bread, and small. It was supposed to be garlic but believe it was just a plain one.

Disappointed. Partner went to pick up the order. Only then to discover they had wrongly given us a mixed kebab instead of a chicken tikka kebab. Tried ringing back but couldn’t get through. As I don’t like donna meat, I took off that and ate what very little chicken tikka they had put on the wrong mixed kebab. Naan bread cold, tikka meat hard. Very little salad. For the price you pay I’m very unsatisfied. Was supposed to be a nice takeaway while we’re away on holiday.

My order was 3 separate meals: mine and my daughters was good, my girlfriends order was wrong and given a mixed kebab instead of a full chicken tikka kebab. Tried calling them several times but the line wouldn’t connect. Disappointed.

instead of jalapenos on my pizza 🍕 I got limes jalapenos are a absolute must on a spicy pizza not likes tho still was nice

went above and beyond to get a delivery to us the food however wasn't very good! dry kebab with no sauce! and pizza that tasted like grease.

This place is awful we live here and thought have a kebab my god after saying What we wanted the person wrote it all down took it home hardly anything in it for 7.00 plus 14 for 2 a bloody rip off . So today my friend who never been to it bought us 2 small pizzas I had pinapple -ham he had chicken tikka tandoori mix they were that small Smaller than a tea plate chewy and laugh 4 pieces of ham tiny and pineapple tiny 5 pieces and as for the tandoori mix where was it just cheese . For 14 .50 was a disgrace I was mad when he told me he went there . They take your money give crap food knowing people won’t take it back . As for us we are going to contact standards of fair trading luckily I got photos of food before and today as this is not what they are advertising If this is the state of our food what is the standards behind ? So don’t use them it’s really bad a shame as it could have done well in local area read other reviews I’m not alone I

Just visiting the area - very lucky to find a takeaway of this quality. Poppadoms, Bhajis, Saag Paneer, Balti, rice all very fresh tasting and nicely cooked. Delivered on time by friendly driver. 10/10.

Food is amazing. Visited several times and loved it every time. Best Indian takeaway in nearabouts and original Indian cuisine. Staff has always been very nice. Tried many items and everything was better than expectations.

delivery driver didn't even get out of his car to hand me the food personally I had to walk down and struggle due to my disability and then still open his car door as he didn't wind down the window. the poppadom was all smashed up and the nan bread is squashed and seems soggy due to the fact it's been squashed as it was a hot item. as for the food it's a little greasy which ruined the taste a little due to another Indian I go to which has no grease and a lot better flavouring

Pizza was a little tough, I think because we were late collecting and they tried to keep it warm. Madras curry was beautiful - albeit very spicy, as it should be, and it made me sweat and drink lots of water. Loved it though! Collection was easy and convenient

Ordered a mixed madras and chicken pizza. Food lost a star because pizza was a bit hard and overdone. Curry however was delicious.

You’ve lost a loyal customer you claim you don’t accept card and replied to me saying you don’t take card I have a transaction on my bank statement (sumuptaj) your delivery driver the girl even told me after showing her that you do take card but the machine isn’t working so don’t make me out to be a lier (we’ve done big orders with you for like £90+ weeks order regular just look back through reviews and we come in with cash to but staying well away now your making us out to be liers.

Told us they do not accept card on collection we said we have used card in here before which they replied you couldn’t have we haven’t accepted card in the 30 years we been here. By time we went to cash point and got food home the chips had dropped in temperature. I then proved them wrong by showing them that I had paid by card on my banking app. The story then changed to our card machine isn’t working when my partner comes in on a break it’s never working. This is without a doubt the worse Indian I've ever had . Very greasy , cold chips ,mix Madras what was more chick pea then anything else 6 bits of meat and 2 so called prawns ,Keema naan was flat cold and god knows where the mince was ,a very faint pink something in the middle. Called the restaurant to complain and the manger was very rude saying he don't have complaints. The man was a joke !!! Please avoid at all costs .

Just in the last hour had two curries, extra large portion of chips and 2 nan breads.. The meals absolutely disgusting. Mushy, no meat, the chips were frozen chips, not cooked properly. Keeema nan had the thinest piece of meat in it. This place is not cheap and was not a nice meal. Would not recommend to anybody. Not value for money.

I get this take away a few times a week and have done for the past few months. The food is exceptional and delivery even better, always delivered with 20 mins of ordering as I live about 7 mins away. I couldn’t recommend Taj Mahal more, the quality of meat is amazing and is always hot and fresh when I open the box. A five star review isn’t enough to describe these guys they have my upmost respect. 100/10

Hello again good was amazing the taj speacil sandwich was amazing only thing I will say is I said no salad and because the meat was so hot it made the salad abit soggy and stick to the bread so I couldn’t pick it off this didn’t spoilt the food I just left the bottom bread and used top bread good from here is always amazing and hot and fresh thank you for being a great local takeaway

Ordered though foodhub and never again food was greasy and dry ....food hub is terrible aswell custom service was poor all they offered was a £5 coupon what I declined as the food went in the bin and had to reorder from a different takeaway that cost another £30

Well where do i start. Ordered a large taj special tandoori, tikka and donner with chips and mint yoghurt. When we got back to the caravan and opened the kebab there was no sauce on the kebab and it was more like a small than a large, its was that small i think my budgie would of ate it all. Wont be going back thats for sure. Dont not recommended.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years and I must say this has to be the worst order I’ve received. The garlic bread and pizza bases were all do we and the chicken on the chicken and sweetcorn pizza was still pink. all food had to be thrown away,.

delivery driver did not know the area waited 30 mins outside in the cold whilst he drove around trying to find us ... i received a call when driver was leaving so i left. The driver advised me by telephone he had gone to Ingoldmells which is no where close by... finally once arrived 40 mins later sadly the food was cold and had to re heat it all. The take away owner had to intervene and advice driver where to go. This type of take away food is not the cheapest and was very disappointing.

Curry, rice and nann bread were lovely as always…. But the mint onion salad has gone down hill big time! It used to be lovely too but now all it consists of sliced red onion with mint sauce!!! And it’s rubbish! Ruins it all!

Wow! Didnt expect much as over takeaways in area not great but this has now become our new regular. From ordering to delivery it took 13 minutes. Couldnt believe how quick delivery was! Food arrived hot and fresh and tasted lovely. Thank you will deffo be ordering again

Ordered a large donner and tandoori kebab, extra nann and chips. Took it back to our van to eat. This fed 4 of us portion sizes are great. Tasted loverly. Handmade nann breads that were loverly and soft even after the drive back to our caravan. Chips were cool but again we did travel afterwards. Would definitely use these again. Very friendly staff.
