Hi no complaints may I make a suggestion get a website up and running on main internet non Facebook related and an ordinary email address without needing a message app down load I have questions I wannabe ask you team thanks for being accommodating about my hearing issues many thanks keep up the good work maybe you could consider being open all year round with your Jack rabbit wine bowl of chips and bread and butter of course thanks

Absolutely shocking didn't know that there's two different prices ordered by the window outside and was no seats because I went inside with family spending over 80 pounds already the women charge me extra 11 pounds for eating inside joke

In Skeggy for the day and always worried food will be sub par due to aiming for bigger profits, however, top fish, and the kids loving the pizza

Just been here with family and disabled mum, the worker for some reason came and locked us in the lower part of the arcade, so we're forced to find him, to let us out the doors we came in. No explanation. No apology. Why would you lock the doors knowing a disabled lady can't climb the stairs as she's on mobility scooter ffs?

We went in when we arrived to Skegness. We ordered the scampi, nuggets and the seafood basket. We really enjoyed the food so much so my 3 year old niece was pinching my calamari rather than eating her nuggets.

Amazing staff that are very helpful especially the young lad that served us at the counter. The fish, chips & peas are really nice and cooked perfect as well as the battered sausage! Will definitely be back!

Food was awful, dried up batter with no fish? Not a pleasant experience informing the manager who explained no one else has complained. Absolutely awful

Went here last week. The first place we ate and my son was served an out of date milkshake which he guzzled half down 😡 Staff acted like it wasn't there problem or fault 😕 stock checks are clearly not made 🙄

12 minutes just to take the order! 20 Minutes just for fish n chips. What a waist of a place

Nice casual eating place which allows dogs inside. The staff are lovely; friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit if you have a dog and want to eat inside.

Chips were served cold, toilets were disgusting, need to be cleaned more often.

We had the most incredible experience at Beachside Tavern during our day out! They prepared over 100 portions of fish and chips for our three teams, and everything was absolutely flawless. Not a single mistake, and each bite was bursting with amazing flavors. The attention to detail was outstanding, as they provided extra salt and vinegar along with utensils for each team. What truly amazed me was their commitment to going above and beyond – they even thought about our convenience by providing sturdy, larger bags to carry the delicious feast. The customer service was second to none, making our day even more memorable. Beachside Tavern's dedication to perfection and their customers is truly commendable.

Visited the Beach side Tavern for lunch whilst in Skegness for the day. Ordering food was easy & straight forward,staff friendly & nothing was a problem. Food was nice & reasonably priced & a good choice even for children. Not busy & plenty of room & pleasant surroundings. One member of staff was constantly cleaning & clearing tables which is good.

You order at the servery and then the food is brought over to you. Great cup of tea, you squeeze your own tea bag and add as much or little milk as you want, so you can have your perfect cup of tea- decent tea bags too!!! The food was lovely, freshly cooked, not greasy, light batter on the fish and plenty of food on the plate. The seats were really comfortable, and there's a good choice of where to sit. Toilets were clean. We went into the amusements after, so it was really handy. Would definitely eat there again.

Me and my boyfriend went there the meat tasted funny, the service was lovely we ended up eating the chips and the salad wasn’t served inside the burger, but either than that it was okay very expensive though I wouldn’t recommend.

Came with the kids to the beach and wanted fish and chips. Prices were extortionate. Quality and temperature of the food subpar. Scratched Plastic plates oddly. Place was empty unsurprisingly. Won’t be returning.

There were ten of us in our group and we ordered various things for our lunch. All were very good, service was good too. For example, the baguettes we ordered all came with chips and side salad. We were surprised that a funfair cafe could be so good

if you wont a cheap and cheerful breatfast or have little cash cant go wrong. I two bacon two sausage two hash brown mushrooms beans tamoto fryed bread or toast and black pudding. Filled a gap

Good food, good prices and caters for all in our party from 2 to 40 years old. Absolutely no complaints from us, if only other places would be like this then things would be a better in SkegVegas.

We had a large breakfast each. Between us there was 6 eggs, not one of them was softly fried. There was a lot of grease on the plate, reminded me of a greasy spoon. There was no napkins/serviettes available. No sauces were offered or available.

Best Fish and Chips I've ever had .... curry sauce was amazing! Mushy peas! Wow. No skin on the fish ... chips? What were they cooked in .... wowwowiwiw 10 stars

Went for breakfast , not sure what bacon and sausage was cooked in but Didn’t taste good ! Allowed dogs in but got told off for letting him have water ! Was told we must go outside to feed or water him , which is stupid ! Can’t give the dog water but it’s ok for the staff to vape on the sly inside , yeah we saw you ! Wouldn’t return , rubbish

We ordered Burgers and chips. The meat was awfull. Stinks and was chewy. Price was ridicoules was this quality. Never ever go there.

Nicely situated within the grounds of the fair serving mainly chip shop meals that also boasts a bar as well.Food was cooked really well .Would definitely visit again 👍.

Nobody in front of us, took ages for food to come out, and the battered sausage was half black! Never seen a burnt battered sausage so there’s a first time for everything! Took it back, another age to come out. Gravy has a horrible twang! Slow service without a smile. Wouldn’t bother again!

Excellent portion of Fish (Large) chips and mushy peas.. £9.95 The fish was huge (12 inch at least and the chips were tasty... Peas were mah.....

Worst fish and chips I ever had.

Went one day this place was open for takeaway only with out prior notice another day SHUT not notices up or anything cannot get information as NOT on Facebook no email address for people who are hard of hearing is it still possible to sit in this premises most in professional who owns the beach side tavern most un-proffesional go to skegnes Aquarium instead very cool

Visited here late August 2020. Ordered Chips, Battered Sausage, Curry Sauce, and also a Seafood Platter. Food was amazing although the server made a small mistake and brought out 2 lots of Chips, Sausage & Curry. The lovely server was more than obliging and took the spare meal away as we couldn't have eaten all that food and she was very apologetic. The staff were cleaning tables during our meals, no issues regarding cleanliness. My only gripe is that there was no social distancing inside when we were there and nobody seemed to be dealing with that but despite that, we had a fantastic experience with great food. Bar prices are very reasonable in my opinion too. Been here 3 times in the last 2 years and will definitely return again in the future

Came here for food family of 5 young man at counter wasnt welcoming order what we thought was 5 meals 3 adults 2 kids ended up with 4 meals 1 child mealless like your going to feed everyone except 1 child so had to reorder no apology no instant let me help you get your meal so child can eat at same time nothing husband order 2 sausage and chips ended up with 1 sausage and he said it was cold my fish had left the batter and went back to the sea and was greasy asked for milkshakes machine was being cleaned start of lunch time !!!!!so asked how long till wait got the attitude cant order or wait for milkshakes have to order something else not a friendly place to eat customer service an all time low such a shame

was passing this place was told it open on saterday but this was a diffrent day instead the OPEN sign was clearily displayed was told rudily its closed i replied well the sign says open girl said something i could not here i gave them another chance i will not make that mistake again went to Harry Ramesbottoms what a pleasent expearience go to Harry Ramesbottom i guarentee you will not regret it

Due to the ATTITUDE of staff I will not be coming here again ever dispute the good food do NOT come here if you have illness and disability go to skegness aquarium they really are friendly to the disabled good bye and good riddance what a right load of codswalop and riff-raff boycott this place if you possible can or at least treat them with the uttermost disrespect they absolutely stink and are riff-raff

Good chips, quite a nice place, basically a fish and chip shop in a pub

Firstly, this place allows you to take your (well behaved) dog inside! What more could you want? Secondly, to say the people turnover is so high, it is pretty clean - the tables are emptied and cleaned really quickly! Lastly, the food is great! Everything is cooked fresh to order (it takes about 10 minutes to get fish, chips, mushy peas and bread and butter) and the drinks - either soft or alcoholic are super chilled and refreshing (the hot drinks are - obviously - hot!). Overall, if you want a good meal (or drink) with your four legged best friend (or even if you don't give this place a try, you wont regret it!)

Had a lovely day on the pleasure centre and decided to give this place a go. Not off to a good start when asked about vegetarian food for my grandson I was told I could order off the adult meals as they don’t cater for veggie kids. When ordered my granddaughters food and asked for the free drink was given a pure juice orange. I asked if they had ordinary juice as pure juice and kids are not a good idea, only to be charged for a juice drink. Grandson no 2 ordered a pizza, well tried to but they were off?Portion sizes were brilliant and the quality of the food was great topped of with really good customer service. Overall a good visit but highly disappointed in the lack of veggie options for kids in this day and age.

Can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I've ever had, and I worked in a chippy so I'm very picky. Will definitely be the only chip shop I visit when I go to Skegness. The fish was fresh and very tasty and the chips were also very nice.

For the last three years I've been to skeggy.i nip into this place for fish and chips.i can honestly say the food the staff and the environment is excellent..the food is always cooked lovely. Its always clean and tidy.my wife and kids always enjoy the food.they always give you generous portions.i cant say a bad word about this place.me personally I would recommend this place every time to anybody

This place isn't worth the money! The food is terrible! I spent nearly £15 on fish and chips for two people, both of us ended up with serious stomach ache after eating what was edible. Never again!

Lots of space to sit, food portions were very generous and staff were friendly. Utterly grateful for dogs being allowed inside on such a wintery day. Would definitely visit again 👍

We were a group of two adults, a young child and a large german shepherd over October half term. Being from London we aren’t used to many eateries being dog-friendly so when one of the staff overheard our conversation debating how to handle carrying lunch with the dog and my daughter she welcomed us inside, dog as well! I ordered haddock and chips and my little one had chicken nuggets and chips. The fish was very tasty (and huge) and the nuggets looked to be made with proper chicken, which my daughter enjoyed. This place was no-frills and looked like a Wetherspoons x chippy but we were pleasantly surprised. Lunch for 2 adults and a child with soft drinks came to about £20 which was very reasonable (you can’t get that in London with fish that good or that would allow a large dog in!)

Expensive eating place. How a small family can afford to eat at these prices is a mystery. It's basically a fish and chip shop with a restaurant. A plate of chips is £2.50! They even charge 20p to use the toilet if you don't use this place! Why?

We called here with friends and we wished we’d gone elsewhere. 3 of us had fish ‘n chips the other person had a cheese melt. 2 of the fish ‘n chips arrived reasonably promptly followed a few minutes later by the 3rd, we then waited 7 minutes for the cheese melt. On asking why couldn’t they bring all the food out together we were told because it wasn’t ready (you couldn’t make it up could you), no apology nothing. One of our party had the blood-orange lemonade - don’t bother, what a rip off! It looks nothing like the picture it’s just orange syrup in lemon drink from a carton. Very disappointing. All in all it was a waste of time and money, there are much better places to eat within 200 yds of this place.

We went to the restaurant today for lunch. We had fish and chips which were a very large portion and very tasty. The premises were very clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The food was a good price and served quickly.The staff were friendly.We will be coming back again soon.

Being English we know our fish and chips and even though the portions were large here they were far too greasy. We didn't sit in the tavern we got our fish and chisp to go and sit beside the beach on a nice bench.

Just for the drinks, it's ok. But don't eat anything. Especially french fries.

I work within a residential care group for autism and we took our guys for a trip to the seaside. We went into the arcade connected to The Tavern to play on the machines. One of our guys needed the toilet so went through to use it. We were confronted by a woman that worked there that rudely informed us that it was a 20p charge to use the toilet for non eating customers. We told the lady that that’s fine we just needed to use a toilet quickly as one of our guys patients isn’t exactly great and would probably become destructive within the building her response was ‘if he does I’ll kick him out’ and ‘you better not make any mess’ and then stormed off. This in my opinion is greatly unacceptable, her lack of empathy was disgusting. Will be putting in a formal complaint. Will not return.

We love the Beachside tavern but unfortunately today we visited for a drink and the staff seem very young ..one young lad came and cleared table and started to wipe the table with a serviette left buy the customers he then spat on the serviette and wiped the table then a tray i am gob smacked ....weres the training !!!! Realy upset that is disgusting.

Was recommended here by my sons girlfriend as she said it was brilliant and I must admit it is one of the best chippies I have been to,my son had the large fish and chips and it certainly was a large piece of fish which tasted fantastic and looked like a proper piece of fish, my sons girlfriend had chicken nuggets which again were brill and my husbands meal of fish cakes and mine which was a sausage were all good and could not complain at all, staff very pleasant and service very quick, will certainly return again .

The beachside tavern does have some of the best fish and chips in skegness. Note it's all cash only though. Aswell as the service differs from person to person. But the food is worth going back for.

Visited here for drinks while visiting the funfair and sat on the veranda watching people having fun on the fair. Not a great choice of drinks but adequate and prices average. Young staff where polite and efficient enough and place was clean.

Be careful of your change here,was short changed and argued with because the bar woman did not want to check her till(got change for a ten when paid with a 20)i knew I was short changed because I only had 20's after I got my tenner back no apology

I was advised to try the large fish and chips from here and so i did. They do not lie when they say large it sure is but not only that it tastes amazing also.I now wished i was there eating their fish and chips again yum yum is all i want to say

Food excellent - staff friendly and Curtis- establishment clean rustic modern. Great fish and chips and good prices.... Called in on the off chance to grab a coffee while i waited for family- nicely surprised how clean and nice the lay out was so decided to grab my family and eat ..... Been back a few times now and get the same great experience every time... This is one you should definitely try .... I have been disappointed with a few places in skeggy... But this hits the spot every time....thank you tavern staff ... Great job.

Seaside town of Skegness in Lincolnshire boasts many fish and chip restaurants. One would have thought that with a huge frontage on the Grand Parade which leads directly down to the beach and has the Funfair behind it, it would have tried harder.
