Saltbox Bar for the lauch of Mollis fried chicken kitchen takeover. If you didn't already know, Mollis is known for their ULTIMATE fried chicken on derby road next to Alchemilla by Alex Bond chef Saltbox have teamed up with Mollis for a 3 month kitchen take over in Bolero Square next to the entrance of Motorpoint Arena Nottingham Its available every Friday and Saturday evening from May to July. We chose a couple of chicken burgers. One with Nashville hot oil fried chicken miso ranch, beer pickle, lollo rosso, furikake. The other,Classic southern fried chicken kewpie mayo, pickles, lettuce, cheese sauce. A side of Fries,house seasoning topped with parmesan. Pink fir potato, truffle curd, crispy onions and a roasted garlic mayo sauce. They also serve some amazing chicken wings, either 6 or 12 in two delicous coatings. If you've not managed to make it out of the city to try them before. Theres no excuse now, as you can pop in when you go to a nearby event or you just want some really good chicken in the town. You can even order it to take-away.

Just awful overcharged us terrible customer service just avoid at all cost not worth a visit the pub 5 mins from here is a lot better

What wonderful place to stay and eat, Thai place has recently been under new management and Thai did not disappoint at all, the owners very very welcoming and accommodating The food outstanding and so reasonable for what you get, the place is immaculate and the rooms decorated very very contemporary, clean and smelled lovely Breakfast again no faults fresh and hot when served, I stayed here 3 years ago and the standards was very poor then, so well done and will be returning soon to do the 3 edge challenge again

So disappointed . I ordered 2 slices of toast for my grandson. One slice only came out which was bad enough but it must have been stale bread because I nearly broke a tooth trying a bit . I banged it on the plate and thought I was going to crack it . I took it back and the second piece was brought out softer , different bread but looks of it but it had zero colour just warm bread . Again I told the same member of staff and all he said was yeah blame the toaster !! Shocking . Below is a photo of my replacement toast

Lovely staff. And great food ,, I had a steak knife and didn’t realise I was using the wrong side of the blade ,,, it was that tender , mixed grill fantastic, but go when your really hungry there’s loads

Wow. Never have I been spoken to before as a customer in such a rude manner. Staff were unprofessional. Was once a great local pub, sad to see what it has become.

Went to the Carriage House for a coffee knowing there was work going on but that was fine. We asked if there was any hot food and was told by a very surly member of staff that they didn't usually do bacon rolls but they were today ??? We asked when they would be ready and told they were in the oven but didn't know when they would be ready amd we couldnt order one. At 10:30 we went to the hot counter and bought 3........£19.50 !!!!!!! A tiny roll just defrosted, 2 half pieces of cold back bacon, £6.50. Chatsworth has really lost the plot and we will never eat there again.

Having to place this review under this page as the name changed to Beachcomber Inn many years ago but for some reason it hasn’t been updated on trip advisor. Me, my husband and stepson recently came to Butlins for the festive wonderland break (in between Christmas and new year) we have been to the beachcomber inn before however it was 2018. On one particular visit it was just me and my husband who came for breakfast. We had toast each, cereal each, a latte and an americano and it came to around £11. It is slightly more expensive than a pub chain outside a resort but that’s fine, it’s to be expected. Nothing really to report on breakfast as it would have been difficult to get wrong! Another visit we came for our lunch.. my stepson just had a bowl of chips as he doesn’t always have the best of appetites, my husband had the mixed grill and I got a jacket potato with chilli and a separate portion of cheese. Unfortunately the cheese was missed off my order so we had to request it and when we originally placed the order for the jacket potato we were told that i could not have one because it was after 3pm however on the menu it does not state this. Anyway to cut a long story short the kind lady behind the bar put the order through for me. It’s an average pub with average pub grub, don’t expect the ritz and you won’t be disappointed l.

Having had a pretty awful experience at the Whitworth terrace cafe I came here with my parents for lunch. We had toasted sandwiches which were well made, tasty and well presented with a lovely crunchy salad. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.

I am not a regular but I have attended regularly enough to view some other reviews - especially about staff - with skeptasism. I have always found the staff perfectly polite, friendly and outgoing. They always accommodate my requests and when I have had special moments - if never occasions - staff have been very accommodating and, more than that, seemed happy to be a part of a happy moment. Food and drink prices comparative to quality leaves me agog because they could be charging so much more - and yet they do not. They are part of the local community and seemingly have the community in mind with their pricing. They also seek to keep it local with their purchasing too. I've yet to purchase from the external artists, etc., that (presumably) rent space in the gift shop but its always a great little space to peruse and I am sure it will come up good for many gift seekers. As a veggie it's a shame I cant put more detail into my review but I do love their platters. I regularly buy a platter to take away when I need a quick foodie present (made on site, no less). When I want to treat or cleanse myself a fruit platter is equally excellent value, visually appealing and tasteful. The hot chocolates look 'something else'. It breaks my heart that people would visit a certain chain coffee shop over the Brown Bear. Let's support independents better, because they are, well, better!

The carvery was good value the beef was lovely and tender. The meat was carved nice and thick. Like many carveries the vegetables were soggy. The selection was however good.

Had a lovely morning at the Spa and received some excellent service from Sam and the beauty therapists. I want to stress that this poor review is not a reflection of our stay and spa experience. However our lunch at the Claret jug was underwhelming to put it nicely. Ewie appeared to only serve men, ignoring myself and a friend at the till. When we finally got served she paused our order to speak to the men behind. There were several issues with our order including items missing, the smallest portion of fries I’ve ever seen for £4.50 and items not coming out as described on the menu. Ewie ignored us on multiple occasions, rolled her eyes at us and did not care to make it a nice experience. But made sure to take great care of the men on the table behind. Won’t be returning. If it was possible to give a 0 stars I would.

The best food and service in skegness Nickerbockerglorys best I've had since a child. True home cooked meals no processed foods and the prices very good.
