The best restaurants serving British food in East Midlands

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was average at best.

Came in for breakfast the other Sunday. Very good service from the staff . Food was very nice. Freshly stocked breakfast. Have previously visited for Sunday carvery which is always very nice and fresh. The Farrier has to be one of the best restaurants around the Grantham area.😁

Lovely spot for a sunday brunch visit. The food was to a great standard, but the standout from the visit was the service from the excellent friendly staff.

Nice pub in a location to match, by the river. Good pub atmosphere inside and a surprisingly big beer garden. Food was your standard pub grub, with a decent children's menu. Service was nice (however you could hear them talking negatively about other guests)

I booked Sunday lunch with my family whilst visiting. It offered a great Sunday lunch menu plus a delightful vegetarian option. Super comfortable seating and tables. Great staff, happy and smiling and nothing was a problem. Loved their doggie treats and water area.!

Waited to get a table ( place empty) the Waiter sat there on his mobile and ignorant of who walked in. Tables sticky and chairs stained and dirty. Menu had tomato sauce over it. Bananas black and soggy. No decaf tea or coffee available. Awful place

Expensive drinks. £6.75 for a double morgans and pepsi.

My local pub that I absolutely love. The staff are wonderful and it's a beautiful old building. Definitely worth a visit!

My daughter put me onto this place and I tried it for the first time yesterday, my goodness, the service was good and the food was delicious, I ordered chips fish and peas, the special, to say it was down as small portions you got loads, I only put half of the chips onto my plate as there was far to many, I will definitely go there again. Lively place. I've not tried the food yet so I can't comment on it.

Been several times over the last 12 months. Probably one breakfast was a bit lacking otherwise really good and great value. Atmosphere is 3 stars. Sometime it’s full of great people, but sometimes you get a number of pretentious people who feel they need the room to hear their opinions.

Didn't eat here but friendly staff and atmosphere with a good selection of beers.

Coffee quite good.., Not the best but excellent.
