Visited today for breakfast with my husband, great English breakfast with all the trimmings, portions are very generous and succulent.Service was very attentive and professional. Definitely this is the place if you’re in the area and very convenient location if you travel to the airport

I’ve always heard how delicious the food was, had to come try it out for myself. The chips were hot and fresh I ordered wings and those too came out hot and fresh my boyfriend had the English breakfast and it was so good I started eating his food! I love the chill atmosphere too. I highly enjoyed my first experience here. I’ll definitely be back.

we visit the wacky warehouse on a regular basis with our daughters usually a Wednesday or Saturday afternoon one member of staff as really stood out, what a delight. her laugh is all you hear. she makes a real effort with everyone and whether busy and run off her feet or steady she is always laughing. nothing is too much trouble

Came here for lunch with my friends during the week. We all had mains and puddings and the food was delicious! Massive portions, well presented and very hot! Great service from the staff too!

Very nice lunch yesterday with my wife and granddaughters, the girls meals are fab and included drink and dessert.We had all day breakfast and the size of the meals is huge and the quality is very nice.After lunch we went to the soft play and the girls loved it. Had such a lovely visit yesterday, my daughter, myself and my dad visited the soft play. The lady I think Louise was her name was so lovely, she single handedly managed the soft play, took our order, cleaned tables and ensured all the children were okay. The food was hot and lovely and the soft play was clean and entertaining for my daughter. We will be back

Called in to use some vouchers we had for our birthday. What a waste partner had steak and ale pie he couldn't eat the pastry it was so hard .I had a turkey dinner the madh was so dry and Brussels were like rubber stuffing I could cut into although roasts and Turkey was nice .won't be ordering these too meals again.i rearly don't think we will go back .what a waste.

When you order food for 4 people and it turns up 5 minutes later, it's quite concerning ... barely warm and didn't taste very good

We went last Monday bank holiday and we really enjoyed.Meals we’re excellent and the portions huge,service was very efficient and professional. Highly recommended

We were 3 generations of a family so to please everybody, we booked a session in the wacky warehouse followed by lunch in the pub. To be certain of getting places for both I rang about 10 days before and the lady in the wacky warehouse kindly booked us in for both play and the meal. The staff in both places were pleasant and helpful. It was Easter weekend so the pub was very busy and I am glad I had booked ahead. We had lunch at 12 o'clock and it was not too busy and we were served quite quickly but as time went on the pub filled up. If you have children I would certainly advise booking at holiday time and consider an earlyish time to eat. The food was the standard Hungry Horse menu and reasonably priced. To finish our visit the children spent some time on the outdoor playground and went home full and tired.

Visited today with my wife for lunch, the place was very busy but Nathan the manager found us a table straight away.We had both fish and chips and it was excellent, we are regular visitors to this place but we never had such a beautiful cooked fish like this.When the manager approached to see if everything was alright I query about the fish and he said that they have hired a chef that used to work in a famous chain of fish restaurants. We were very impressed Definitely we will be back for some more fish

Wow… came today we had such a great great experience when we arrived and was greeted by the lovely lady called Kathleen. Kathleen was running around like mad with it being a bank holiday still happy still smiley….. and being rushed off her feet, an hour an half later… another lady came in being bossy and rude in front of customers and I’d say very miserable… went to the till speaking to the member of staff like rubbish I asked for some crisps then asked her babe she said Rachel no question To as why goes to show her customer services barking orders at the one lady Kathleen who was running around all day on her own???? Wow treat people how you like to be treated Rachel !!! Can’t

It was a pleasure to be served - aside from some confusion on entry about a table booked (which is understandable for how busy it seemed) Seated at a nice quaint table and food was a delight as was service from staff - as my mother had been following a strict diet plan but the chef was very accommodating as was expressed by my mother. Would absolutely attend again in future - as also have memories of briefly eating here with a late relative when was much younger.

As a regular user I always find staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly, service is prompt and the food good and offering excellent value for money.

Nipped in for dinner on route home and as usual the food was delicious. The menu choice is good and not too pricey. The staff are nice and friendly. Would highly recommend x

Third time here. First was dire , however we went back in an effort to change this. Tonight we tried again. Food was lovely , drinks were correct . Waitress was attentive to our autistic son. Lovely visit , amazing food and friendly staff

Food wasn't what we expected. The mushroom pie was amazing only because it is NOT homemade.. The mashed potato looked like they had been scraped off another customer's plate.. The burger with steak was plated poorly as well. So maybe the price is cheaper than somewhere else but the food and the service are unacceptable... Never again!!

Staff friendly and madecus welcome. Food was hot and delicious., served with a smile. The staff came back to check all was okay for us all. First appearances of establishment are a bit off putting, but inside you are made so welcome.

Went for dinner on Wednesday, it was curry night, chicken tikka was lovely, we upgraded to the larger meals, extra naan and chips etc. Service was great, nothing was to much trouble, asked for extra mango chutney came straight away. Lovely place and service.

A group of 10 of us from 3 different households visited Plank & Leggit on Sunday 25/02/24 and 6 out of 10 of us have been so so poorly with sickness and diarrhoea. Adults and children. Really disappointing as it’s somewhere we have enjoyed taking the children before. We all had different meals so it makes you wonder if it’s hygiene problems in the kitchen or the food. We didn’t visit the soft play as it was full. We won’t ever be returning and advising anyone else to stay away unfortunately.

Came for mother's 87th birthday. Parents used to come here alot with granddaughter.. waiting and bar staff lovely as always..but the food! Mac and cheese arrived with no breadcrumb topping..told they didn't have any when asked why..chicken new yorker came with no streaky smoked bacon...
