Excellent food !!!! Best in Leicester for breakfast brunch staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and lovely meeting chef Chelsea we will be back

My first time going for breakfast and it was a 10/10. Fantastic quality of the meat. Took my young daughter and was given an activity sheet with crayons and allowed her to stretch her legs. The chef Chelsea was amazing and very welcoming and all of our needs were met. All the staff were lovely. Definitely would go back.

We recently visited Cosy Club Leicester for lunch, a venue we've enjoyed for brunch and lunch over the past couple of years. Unfortunately, this latest experience was a significant disappointment, primarily due to the poor service we encountered. Upon arrival, we were shown to our table by a young hostess who seemed quite unfriendly. She seated us right in the middle of two large tables, which was not ideal for our family, especially with two hungry children. I asked my 7-year-old son to politely request if we could be moved to a different table. The hostess replied that all other tables needed cleaning. This response seemed reasonable at the time, but what happened next was quite surprising. Just two minutes later, another family of four arrived, and they were offered a choice of where they would like to sit. This stark contrast in treatment left us feeling overlooked and undervalued. It seemed like our request was dismissed without much consideration, while others were given more flexibility. We decided to make the best of the situation and stay at our table. The food at Cosy Club has always been a highlight, and this visit was no exception. The meals were fantastic, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. However, the excellent food was overshadowed by the subpar service. The waiting staff seemed disorganized and unresponsive to our needs. One of the most frustrating moments was when we asked for the dessert menu. We requested it four times, but no one brought it to us. It was as if our requests were being ignored. This lack of attention to detail and care for customer satisfaction was disappointing. To top off the poor service, there was an error with our bill. Initially, I was charged the wrong amount, and then the staff came back to inform me that they had actually charged me £20 less than intended. This confusion added to the overall sense of disorganization and incompetence. Given the combination of rude service, inconsiderate seating, and billing errors, we have decided not to dine at Cosy Club Leicester again. It's unfortunate, as we have enjoyed our previous visits, but this experience was too disappointing to overlook. Hopefully, they will address these issues to improve their customer experience.

Great location, and vibe. We went recently for a Birthday Celebration and the drinks and food service was super. Mel and Sophie really looked after us and the celebration went really well. Thank you.

I visited with my family to celebrate my cousin’s 18th birthday. Our waitress, Mel, was very friendly and attentive. Most of us ordered the buttermilk chicken burgers, while I had the seabass with rice. Despite the menu claiming that the burgers pack over 1000 calories, we all left feeling hungry—and some of us even felt starved the next day. The portion sizes, particularly for the chicken, were disappointingly small for a £25 meal. On a positive note, my cousin was given a free Prosecco, which was a very nice gesture from the restaurant. While the food quality was acceptable (the seabass wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was fine), the overall experience was let down by the unsatisfying portions.

Nice atmosphere and indeed very cosy! Shame that more classic drinks weren't priced appropriately and instead charged by the shot so would recommend sticking to one of the drinks on the menu next time.

Always liked the Cosy club for a drink and had food years ago which was nice. Celebrating a 21st on a chilly Sunday evening and found staff not that welcoming inparticular bar tender with pony tail who wasn't interested in turning on radiator and had a rather pompous attitude tbh. A simple thankyou at the bar would be appreciated after paying too Food was good but could have been larger portions for price. Alot on menu was out of stock too. Wouldn't recommend to friends as friendlier venues in the city

As always, food was good. Service a bit slow but it was full due to christmas and tigers playing.

Absolutely dreadful. Food was very poor Cocktails were a cock up Staff were nice - but obviously very poorly managed at every level. I have contacted Cosy club for some feedback but they can’t be bothered to respond. As a past regular I won’t be back. Go to Bistro Pierre - better food and value

The place might be cosy, but the food is mid. Overpriced and some items are just not tasty at all. Skip the Christmas menu as you will be disappointed if you have any taste buds. Salman was as dry and unflavoured as imaginable. Didn't even get the dessert, even though payed for the Christmas menu which should include it. Better of getting something else or cooking home, it will be better quality, taste and value.

10/10 great place can’t fault it

Drinks are expensive. Was used as a meet up before going to our xmas meal. Personally I wouldn't go again there are cheaper places.

Yesterday myself and my co-workers had our Christmas meal here and for the 2nd year running we had a wonderful evening! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great but the best part for me personally was the attitude and competence of the staff. They were friendly, funny and attentive without being too much. And they were very good at handling one of our co-workers peanut allergy. They are all wonderful at there job and deserve all the praise and thanks! So thanks and Merry Christmas!

Booked for a first date. Gave us free proseco on arrival and as we both don't drink they gave us a free desert. Excellent service. My date and I had a wonderful time.

Went for a Christmas dinner meal. The food was really lovely. The share starters were really nice just that the bread was really hard. Apart from that, really lovely.

We had lunch here recently and it was absolutely brilliant. Started with some small plates - prawns, Asian chicken and arancini which were all cooked to perfection and tasty( can't wait to have those prawns again) followed by the seabass - also delicious. Staff were great - went above and beyond - especially as we had left some personal belongings which they dealt with expertly. Many thanks! Thoroughly recommend 👌

Always quite noisy. Service quite slow. Very pricey. £4 95 for a round of bread and £4.95 for a few olives. Burger not great. Disappointing.

I do enjoy visiting the varying Cosy Club locations and this is one of them. There is plenty of room to relax in the "lounge" area with a separate table service for food. The atmosphere is lovely and I would thoroughly recommend coming here as you will thoroughly enjoy your visit. Friendly staff, nice food and good selection of drinks.

Love the vibe and staff are always nice I would have scored this a 5 if the Dirty Chicken Burger wasnt removed from the menu, it was definitely a unique burger and much better tasting than the other burger choices, always looked forward to it when I dined here, a shame! :(

Family birthday meal for a large group. Food was very disappointing across the board. A few main courses not available on a peak evening. Waitress constantly trying to sell extras and drinks. The food is average at best with an expensive price tag. I felt this way a few months ago but gave it another chance. Bad decision as left disappointed. Won't make the same mistake again.

Fabulous breakfast and service. Definitely recommend. Had a power cut whilst we were there so they generously let us off the bill! Will definitely be back

We had a really nice experience at Cosy Club. We attended for my birthday and were served by Emma R, she was so lovely and gave my Prosecco on the house, which was so kind!

Favourite restaurant hands down. Quick service, amazing food and quality environment/people. We travel almost 40mins to come here regularly and its so worth it, Always the best quality food and service ✨️ 5 star worthy 🙌 Thankyou to all the staff who served us, especially the lady on her first shift in the restaurant who's name I can't remember, my apologies!

Beautiful setting as always, Cosy knows how to make a beautiful space and it always has so many unique things to look at. The place was very busy which is always a good sign, and I loved that you could choose if you wanted to be seated near the bar or in the main restaurant area. Service was good, they let us take our table despite being early which is always appreciated! I ordered the club burger and was a bit dissapointed as it just came with a patty and rocket salad, so looked a bit small and sad on the plate as even the cheese cost extra to put on which I thought was a bit cheeky. Can understand if you are using special cheeses but for a bit of cheddar its questionable! It did taste delicious all the same, I don't know what sauce they make with the onions but it was divine. Just know next time if you want a proper burger you need to add those extras! We sat chatting and loved that there was no rush to push us out. Paying was quick and easy. All in all? Really lovely place to stop for a bite, but book on weekends for sure!

Menu and food were great! Some traditional and some interesting items to select from. The service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry so that was OK. Very interesting interior using old items from the hosiery business that used to be there.

I met my family there for my 70th birthday there were 15 of us the service and the food was amazing Mel D was the person serving and taking all the orders she was patient kind and very efficient lots of different starters and main meals which all arrived hot and quickly It couldn't have been easy for her but she was friendly throughout the whole time we were there I also got a free non alcohol drink which was great A brilliant evening Thank you

Visited as part of a trip to visit our old Universities. When we told our waiter this he obviously told the rest of the staff as they provided a dessert free as a random act of kindness to help us celebrate - this was so lovely of them, and even before this we were already commenting that the food and service were second to none! A huge thanks from us and a massive “highly recommend” too!

Great place with really good food and amazing service. I had a really lovely black truffle & ricotta ravioli which was very tasty. The service was fantastic too - we had a brilliant waiter Bradley who was very patient with how long it took us to look at the menu! Great spot for eating in the city.

Ordered salmon, eggs on bagel with hollandaise sauce, Was stone cold, they did offer to replace but didn't have time, no comp or drink offered. The table water had no ice or lemon so won't be going back although the bloody mary was excellent. For £21.50 I say 3 out of 10!

Myself and my two daughters all of us are coeliac went to the Cozy Club yesterday they have a separate dedicated menu for gluten-free with excellent choices. All of the staff we spoke to were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All of the food and drinks we ordered were flagged with an allergy sticker. We felt very safe excellent place to go..

A large group of 19 of us joined cosy club for breakfast for a reunion meal. We were really looked after by Mel (Mel D). She made sure we had everything we need and ensured we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast together. A massive thank you to her for her exceptional service! We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and the children’s breakfasts were a hit!

Food is OK, I had the dirty chicken burger. It was over cooked. My colleagues had the Salmon, portion was extremely small. For the price there are better options in Leicester.

Went for brekkie with wife and two friends. All ordered something different, and all came out at the same time and were all delish. Staff are lovely and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere

I think this is my new favorite place in Leicester. The atmosphere was amazing. It felt both open and airy and close and cozy at the same time. Everything was comfortable elegance and a master class in art deco revival. The service was phenomenal ( Thanks, Britt) and th food was even better. I had a classic English breakfast which was massive even for an American. The coffee was strong and delightful. The food was flavorful. I loved every bit of the dining experience.

First time I have visited the cosy club and loved it , very deceiving from the outside as it is very large with great atmosphere, comfy sofas and great service .

Chef Chelsea’s poached eggs are out of this world!! There’s only one thing better than one of her poached eggs, two!! Great breakfast and lovely team. We’ll be back next time we’re in Leicester.

We went for my husbands 60th birthday brunch, we would recommend 100%, the staff were very nice and couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious, nothing at all to pick fault with, when next in the area we would definitely call again! 10 out of 10

Awful food and service was really bad. We we're waiting for long periods of time for food, drinks and even to pay. The atmosphere didn't feel welcoming and we we're all disappointed with the quality of our food. None of finshed the meals.

Very nice place to eat. Immaculate food and place was very well presented. Not many people in the restaurant though. Possibly because it was a Monday. But would recommend.

Attended for an engagement party. Drinks were very expensive (two soft drinks £7!) The buffet was hit and miss and not much of it for the price paid and the vegan / vegetarian option was beyond poor (hummus on toast .....). The decor and layout are nice.

Amazing ravioli cooked by the two chefs on shift a black truffle ravioli and a wonderful service conducted by the dazzling waitress and hostess Emma and Charlotte.

We go regularly for breakfast and what makes this place are the great staff. They are a credit to the restaurant. The decor is very nice and with the new breakfast menu we are always spoiled for choice wether we want a full cooked at a simple healthy breakfast.

18th birthday meal, Holly was on the ball, provided excellent customer service and was very welcoming Chelsea was amazing! Food was on point and catered to individual needs. Chelsea even popped over to the table to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday! Lovely touch

First time coming here and OMG. The food was out of this world had the breakfast menu. chelsea was the chef... and was absolutely amazing the qoukity if the meat was brillaint. I woukd defo adivse the pork belly, sweet and melt in the mouth. The chef customised my breakfast to my desire and came to the table to see if the food was OK. She was lovely. Hollie was our waitress and she was phenomenal, she was very attentive and made beautiful cocktails. Brilliant time, will be back. Thankyou

Breakfast was nice but very expensive for what you get. We had a vegan breakfast burger, and an eggs Benedict, which were both very nice, but portions were small.

Ava and Brad were super friendly. They made the experience at Cosy a fantastic one. Brad was super cool and funny. Definitely made it a memorable night!

Such a lovely place to eat! My portion was quite big so ended up sharing fries with my partner, tasted amazing. The staff were so kind and would have a little chat with you, it was a lovely place for a date I would go again and again!

LOVE this place. Can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience 😌 We had a hendo of 16 booked in for Saturday night. Communication with the team was easy and they were very accommodating throughout the booking process! Cocktails and food were delicious as always, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy! I honestly couldn’t fault them! Smile all round, 16 very happy ladies! 😊

An excellent place for some fantastic food in a nice cosy atmosphere. It doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is got a really good cosy, lounge look to it. Nicely laid out with plenty of space around the tables and not crammed in like other places. The food was excellent. Nicely presented, well cooked and very tasty and also a different menu to other places. Service was fantastic. Very attentive, polite and thorough. Really enjoyed our visit.

Went there for Mother's Day, and the service was really good. The food was really nice and the environment was really good too. Had a good experience going there. Well done to the staff, you were very friendly.

Love this place for drinks and snacks. Been here a few times with family. The atmosphere and decor really nice. Staff attentive and welcoming. Food reasonably priced, good selection of vegetarian options including vegan. Definitely recommend.

Good selection of drinks, which changes semi regularly to keep things fresh. Glad they’ve added Hoffmeiter to their draft offering! We didn’t order food on this occasion, but in the past it’s always been good. The staff have always been pleasant and professional.

I had a birthday dinner for my Mum with 10 family members.The service was very good and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.The food was also very good with many options even for the kids.I have been several times for breakfast but I will also be adding Cosy Club as one of my choices for dinner from now on.

I loved our visit. Just my fiance and I for a midweek lunch. I don't know why but the Cosy Club had fallen off my radar for a while but I'm so glad we thought of it. The ambiance, service and food were all brilliant. The small plates were some of the best I've had in this price range. I'll definitely be back soon.
