The staff are amazing. Josh, Sue, liam, Charlotte, Holly, Amanda always make us feel wecome they can't do enough for you. It's like one big happy family . Everyone is relaxed and always happy. Me and my boyfriend came for lunch and we were really happy! We tried the ham and cheese melt for lunch and it was really delicious. It was also really pleasant that it had been recommended and it was a new item on the menu. Everything about the place was really comfortable and we will definitely be back!

Stopped for an early dinner and a couple of drinks - large pub, plenty of parking, very friendly staff and plenty of people enjoying themselves. I had gammon and chips and my mother had scampi. I would eat here again if up in Nottingham.

Went here a few Christmases ago, got absolutely wasted. Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and fantastic staff. They were all very accommodating allowing me to use their car park as a landing & takeoff area for the drone. Not every establishment would do that. Friendly folk, the food is top notch as well. Can recommend.

Nice pub with a good selection of beers. It is reasonably priced with lots of seating both inside and out. The food menu is traditional pub food and they have set price menu offers on during lunch and dinner which cater for budget options. I had Hunters Chicken which was tasty and filling. Would recommend as a place for meeting people or large groups. Visited recently for a retirement party and was great for catching up. The ember inns app has some good drinks offers.

Hearing good reviews from family and friends we choose to try the Punchbowl for a family meal. At the time of our arrival they were looking for a table that would fit us together and did very well to get us together. The menu looked very nice and service was great. The food came in good time and they made sure we had everything we needed. Happy to come again and plan to come again. Thank you

Was invited to a baby shower there and the presentation was beautiful, staff was lovely Food looked very tasty but I was late helping myself so was last and was only a few bits left 😢😢😢😢

was at a baby shower and expected a well planned out buffet all we received was a few stale sandwiches and 2 small bowls of chips for over 30+ people and a few small entrées what a waste for the price of over £400 never coming back.. the bar man was so inconsistent with the serving of the drinks leaving us every other 5 minutes at one point members of my party was left for over 30 minutes waiting for a drink. there think they are Michelin star chefs when all they cooked was a few iceland frozen sides and acting like they did something good.

Great food and friendly staff would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a meal out with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Me & The Mrs Ordered The Ultimate Burger & it was fresh it was the best burger we've had in ages we also ordered a couple cocktails the amount of alcohol was perfect plus want to say a massive thank you to a staff member named sue she was very polite and welcoming also settled us in with a better table and view definitely recommend if you want a treat plus a amazing experience 5 Stars From Us.

Went here for our 3 year anniversary and was absolutely blown away with the service! Food was bliss and drinks were quick and cold. We had been gifted the meal on a gift card and only had to pay for a portion of it and the staff were so accommodating and helpful with the payment process! Will be returning whenever we next get the chance! Lovely little place!

Until last month, i had never been here, but i have been twice recently for a family meal. 1st visit 28/2 the 2nd on 20/3 both occasions food has been really good as has the service, will be definitely recommending and returning.

Haven't been for ages, so it was a pleasant surprise to find the food as good as it was, albeit simple fare. The staff were lovely. We'll be back.

I love punchbowl the food is amazing especially the meal with chicken wings for starter pizza chips and beans for main and for pudding a strawberry eaten mess. Can I just also say when Me and my mum went there the staff were highly rude and disrespectful to my mum. I don't think we are going to go back there until the staff become nicer and there is good deals.

I had my wedding reception here and was welcomed and they was lovely and then around 5pm the buffet was meant to come out which it was past 5pm and still nothing so my mum asked the lady behind the bar and to which the reply was well it was come out when it does as it’s very busy down stairs. As someone who has paid over £500 for food alone with out the room charge added. I would have liked for it to be brought out on time or at least communicate that it was going to be late. Then when it arrives it was meant to be catered for 50 people. There was two sets of sandwiches one cheese and pickle which is fine not a huge variety if you don’t like pickle. Then there was 1 bowl of chips 1 bowl for 50 people is ridiculous. Then one of the guest asked for an extra bowl of chips and extra bowl of wings with there only being 2 bowls of wings. To which I got told I would be charged for of course. I mean the numbers per head to the food that came out was no where near in comparison. I mean to say it was catered for 50 but only 35 came says how small it was. You could have got more from Morrisons self catering.

The place was nice and the people seemed lovely, but i paid £10 for a burger and chips and it was not worth it!! The chips weren't salted and were soggy as, basically oven chips, the burger had no sauce in it and generally was quite sad. I did takeaway so maybe its better if you eat in?

I dubiously ordered the 'Posh Fish and Chips' meal when visiting on a Sunday when I had a feeling it wouldn't be a wise choice. Sadly, I was right. The 2 battered bass fillets were clearly reheated and not cooked fresh. Very rubbery texture and luke warm. Chips were acceptable. It is, what it is, I suppose.

We went to chill its a nice pub nice staff the night we went was sticky 13 so we had a go and I won I shouted house then went up for my winnings fir the host to say sorry I didn't here you and she gave my winnings to another customer that shouted house to but only 10 minutes before I said to the host can we hear yiu and you us she said yes I should all I got was a sorry not even you can have a drink for the bar as an apology or even give us the winnings I should have gotten as it was there mistake so they won't be getting our custom again as all they had to do is offer me the same winnings I should of had or a couple of drinks from the bar to cover the winnings

Had meal and drinks, good service at the bar , easy to order food and drinks, bottle of wine ordered and was offered a cooler, starter was soon to arrive as was the main after our starter was cleared away. The soup was fine but the battered mushrooms didn’t look too inviting as the batter looked a little oil bound but the taste was fine, the mains were scampi’s and fries and gammon and fries with the trimmings both well presented and most enjoyable.

Two meals were ordered and served promptly and hot. Chips came with one of the dishes but the chips were flavourless with no taste.

Visited today for some food during early afternoon and food was spot on. First time eating at punchbowl and will definitely be returning.

Popped in for a drink.polite staff made me feel welcome.not busy but looks like it will Friday- Sunday.i was their Tuesday dinnertime.

Came here for the first time as we happened to be passing by. Glad we did. Great food. Late afternoon on a Sunday and they'd run out of Sunday roast which was disappointing but what we had from the main menu was really nice. Staff were lovely and very accommodating for our 7 month old baby. Will definitely return

The staff are friendly, it's reasonably priced, the food is nice. We do go here a few times a year, the app has problems, didn't get our food order before and it was because of the app. Although the lady looked like she didn't believe us, she sorted it out for us. Doesn't put us off going but definitely room for improvement.

I had a birthday party on the 26th August. It was brilliant. Amanda was fantastic and super attentive along with the rest of the staff. The in house DJ was superb, kept me up to date with phone calls and text messages… As well as Carol who called me and kept me up to date too. Pub is looking tired & needs a clean. Toilets are very unkept. Ordered a drink at the bar, lady was pouring the wrong pint so i corrected her, she seemed annoyed, didn't apologise & slammed the correct pint in front of me. Perhaps needs to improve on customer service skills! I was served dirty glass with lipstick on, had to return!

Best Ember Inn in Nottingham, we can always find a table, plenty of parking, good food. We came with two children and apparently they have to leave by a certain time, we didn't know. So someone came out to tell us that after we'd eaten we would have to go. They were very pleasant about telling us and our fault we were late ordering as it was my birthday and presents and cards to open first. But it did take the edge off the celebration I'm afraid. Maybe tell people when they book. Maybe you do but I didn't see it

Lovely welcome when entering, because we were early, plenty if seats, had a drink whilst waiting for family to arrive, great menu and options, to cater for everyone. Food lovely and hot, really enjoyed our time there, relaxed being able to chat with family. Great experience, definitely would go again.

It was lovely sitting outside this pub with the sun shining. It was disappointing that non of the staff had masks on and there was little cleaning of tables. I had to wipe my glass with a sterile wipe as there were lip marks noticeable....
