We had called by a few times previously for a drink and a bite of lunch when it was the Atlas, so we called by again for lunch. The immediate greeting was that there was a 20 minute wait for food (no hello), we went to order at the counter, but were told that the orders were now taken at the table, whilst the waitress came to our table in good time, the wait for the drinks was tedious, so tedious we considered leaving. The place was freezing, the front door was open all the time, everyone was sitting with coats and scarfs, it was like sitting in the garage with the freezer door left open. We saw so many people waiting for food, someone returning their food to the counter, that we decided just to wait for the hot drink (we were going to order food). We saw the tea bag (for one of our drinks) dropped on the floor and then put back on the saucer and served to us (we asked if we could swap it for a tea bag that hadn't been on the floor) - the waitress apologised, but come on this is basic hygiene surely staff should know not to do this? All in all, very, very average and not at all as we remembered when it was Atlas

Sólo he comido allí y fue horrible.

Went on a day trip from Lincoln to Nottingham, wanted some food thought Atlas would have good customer service as well as the food. It did'nt complaining was not taken into consideration or handled well at all from having waited so I left.

This is a great place to grab a quick lunch or take-away especially as it's so central. The panini are my favourite- they're delicious and I haven't found better elsewhere in Nottingham. However- it's overpriced.

We regularly stop in the Atlas Cafe in Nottingham for lunch whilst in the City - why? Simply because the coffee is great and the fod is always fresh, well made and always from a varied menu. Definitely recommended.

Nice and quiet place to have a cup of tea or coffee. I particularly liked the bacon sandwich, in brown bread. Would recommend this charming cafe.

Looking for somewhere to get a light lunch before going to the NIC to watch ice hockey, and spotted this as we turned up the street, a quick perusal of the menu boards sold us and both my son and I chose the Brie, Chilli Jam and Walnut panini. For my wife the ability to build your own salad to order was equally great because being allergic to tomatoes and not liking cucumber normally makes it very hard for her to have salads out anywhere. Prices were very acceptable and I would definitely recommend.

Try cajun chicken salad with sweet mustard sauce - absolutely gorgeous and in my opinion great value - always go there when visit Nottingham as nowhere else compares -they never mind giving you tap water which comes with ice and pleasant smile - soup is divine also and lots different breads on offer - must try cake next time! If you don't like food here then go to greggs as probably more suited!

For lunch this is one of the top places in the city centre. Independent and affordable, the quality is right up there and the coffee is amazing. Try something new that you might not think of at first off the menu and you won't be disappointed!

I love the food at Atlas - they have fantastic and unusual combinations on their sandwiches that make for an enjoyable quick lunchtime visit. Prices are reasonable for the quality of what you are getting and staff are polite. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is due to the cramped and uncomfortable seating. Horrible moulded plastic chairs and little space in a venue that is often very busy. This is a reflection of the excellent food but what Atlas needs is a new larger venue, which I'm sure would be a great success

I've tried Macchiato's in most of the cafes in West Bridgford and Nottingham City Centre and I have to say the best, by far, is from Atlas. They taste wonderful and are very reasonably priced.

Over £4 for a sandwich with one slice of each ingredient and not a salad leaf in sight. It was the most mediocre sandwich I've ever eaten. I expected a door stopper! Never again thanks.

This is more of a cafe than a restaurant. They have a wide range of paninis, bagels, and sandwiches, nothing dull and a very wide range of fillings. The home made cakes are divine - try the ginger and lemon cake. Coffee is nice and the service is friendly and efficient. My boyfriend and I always choose this place for a relaxed lunch when we go into Nottingham city.

Our afternoon tea was a gift from our daughter. The waitress was lovely and extremely attentive but the afternoon tea itself was very average. A selection of teas but all teabags! Afternoon tea usually consists of a selection of finger sandwiches and then homemade cakes. There were finger sandwiches but the fillings were very bland. There was a minute soggy pastry tart and a soup! The scones were good but very small and these are usually the centre piece of the tea but instead a slate filled with huge cakes was served. The almond tart didn’t taste of almond and the orange muffin was very heavy. Not nice at all. Have had far better.
