Great location. Well maintained. Attractive interior, cosy, contemporary and very well maintained. Excellent friendly welcome and service. Good menu and drinks list. Reasonable prices for the quality. Glad to keep on returning.

Pleasant place, the food was pleasant, the staff were excellent, the atmosphere warmed up as the pub filled up. Nice range of beers.

Unfortunately very disappointed that the Kids meal was the same size as a normal meal.. the feeling of being ripped off as we left. Made the bar staff aware as we left but just got a nervous chuckle I thought a reduction in the price of a full meal was definitely in order.

Food was scored less as everything we wanted had sold out. The pork was cold and tough and there wasn’t much of it. The waitress and staff were lovely and service good.

A lively eating house, a pleasant young lady served us. I had Hunters chicken, not over impressed, chicken a little dry, the bbq sauce was rather bland. I would visit again but would try something different.

We dropped in on a journey back from Bristol. My wife ordered the gammon steaks and eggs which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Hunters chicken which was more southern fried chicken than Hunters but still enjoyable and my Daughter had the sea bass which could have been seasoned better but was still good. The staff were lovely and friendly but once the food was ordered we were kind of left to our own devices. I think the least we would expect is for someone to ask if we wanted another drink during the meal or even how the meal was. But all in all it is a beautiful pub with some lovely food and friendly staff but maybe just a little more focus on the service

The staff were polite and cheerful. We all enjoyed the food. The restaurant was busy but service was prompt. One of the reasons I like the Bridge is that there is sufficient space around each table and even when busy it is not difficult to hear each other speak.

Nice pub in a location to match, by the river. Good pub atmosphere inside and a surprisingly big beer garden. Food was your standard pub grub, with a decent children's menu. Service was nice (however you could hear them talking negatively about other guests)

Despite a party of 11 and one of our party in a wheelchair we found all our needs catered for . With the additional 30% vouchers used made the evening very special

A solid 4/5 pub. Nothing spectacular, but nothing really to fault. Just maybe ask people if they want ice in their drinks. We weren't offered any and didn't get any (I'm sure they would have given us some if we'd asked, but it shouldn't really be necessary).

Went for my daughter’s birthday, as we usually like coming here . However quite disappointed this time . Service was abrupt, food was not great for the price, luckily we had a voucher, although when I said we had one I was told it had expired, which it hadn’t . They did accept it . I’m afraid we won’t be returning any time soon . My daughter’s food was cold and barely cooked , and mine was billed as a halloumi and red pepper dish , it contained 1 small slice of red pepper. Lots of onions though !

There was a guy behind the bar who was very abrupt which I didn't like. The sea bass was mediocre, as in not quite cooked and the atmosphere was zilch. I used to go in there for a Christmas meal but won't be going this year! Tbh it was the bar guy who put me off .. I asked the nice pleasant younger bar guy who the other guy was and he said bar staff like me.

The establishment was very welcoming and friendly. It was a relaxing atmosphere, on a wet thundery night outside, with service standards to a high. Despite a special plate not being available due to shortage (clearly a favourite of the evening) , there was plenty more to choose from and the dishes were extremely tasteful. I will be returning at some point , be it I book or casually drop it, as it's now a favourite to go.

We had a great experience - the Sunday dinner was amazing, the wine was delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful! We have already recommended The Bridge Inn to friends and we will definitely be returning for another meal soon.

The service we was fantastic from the young lady who took out food order to the guys who brought our drinks over. My wife is a coeliac and the staff were all on the ball with this. The food was very good amd the atmosphere was pleasant. Will be going again felt very welcome.

The food is slightly expensive for what is served but it was good quality, the service & waitress was very good the atmosphere was comfortable but a little noisy but to expected as it was quite busy. The waitress was efficient & friendly, on the whole the visit was a good experience

Excellent food. Pedigree ale. Friendly bar staff. Spent 60 quid 2 fantastic meals. Went home full and merry. And 30% off main meals. We will be back.

This place seems to have gone downhill. The venue itself is lovely, next to the river (although you couldn't see the river because the bushes were so overgrown!) The food wasn't up to much. The starters came out fine but when the main came we had no cutlery, so had to ask for some. The waiter handed it over with his hands all over them and then I had to ask for a steak knife. The steak was tough and chewy. The staff were friendly but looked scruffy in just t shirts, jeans and trainers. They would look so much more professional in a uniform of some sort. I wouldn't recommend it for food unfortunately. Too pricey for the standard of food.

Service friendly efficient and flexible. We were with 2 children and able to select suitable child-friendly food even though not listed on menu to suit children,s requirements. Adult food great and efficiently served. Altogether a great experience. Thank you. Please thank our waitress, a delightful middle aged lady.

Went for a lovely midweek meal with hubby , had pan fried sea bass crushed potatoes mangtout and peas absolutely lovely couldn't fault the service or food , hubby had steak ale pie chips peas good quantity and quality will definitely return thanks for a lovely evening 😁🥃

My husband and I had our evening meal here today and it was lovely. We have been once before and enjoyed it so decided to go today. The lady behind the bar, Nikki was really friendly even though it was quite busy she still took time to speak to customers. My husband likes a good pint of carling and it certainly hit the spot!!! We thought we would be in for a wait for food because quite a few orders went in before ours. We were pleasantly surprised, we didn’t wait too long. My husband had the “pie and a pint” offer, meat and potato pie, had cut chips, mixed veg and gravy. He really enjoyed this and said the chips were fantastic. I had sea bass, new potatoes and mixed veg all of which was cooked perfectly and I didn’t find a single bone. We will definitely be back.

Sat outside, lovely environment, staff polite & friendly, only had beverages. Large establishment No body bumping into you overall enjoyed the experience. Maybe nxt time stop for food.

Connection to the WIFI is poor. The log in requires you to scroll back 1 month at a time to reach your birthday. Bit of a long process when you're 59, I gave up!!

Food is good, your normal British fare. Service is your normal British attitude. They do have a nice outside space.

I’d booked the wrong day but the staff were very accommodating and fitted us in. Excellent choice of food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Food was lovely. In the words of my husband, “best fish & chips I’ve had in a long while” !! We will be revisiting.

I celebrated my 60th birthday here last night and we all had a fantastic time. The staff were all amazing so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much of a problem. The food was amazing, none of us had a bad meal, it was all delicious. We're even talking about booking for Christmas dinner here!! (The belly pork was amazing!!!!) I highly recommend this place, it's the best pub/restaurant I've been to in years or maybe even ever! 10/10 and lots of big, fat gold stars for all the staff!!!

Met up at the bridge for a family gathering and meal. Food was just OK - nothing special really for the price - but the service was good and friendly if a little slow, although it was very busy on a hot and sunny Friday evening.

The Bridge Inn is a friendly, beautiful riverside public house which serves a varied menu at excellent prices. They have a good range of decent beer and soft drinks. Coffee is available. There is a clean area of artificial grass for children to run around on and the outside seating area overlooking the river is large and great in the summer. The staff team is mostly long serving and all are friendly.

Good good food with excellent choice of drinks with attentive service and nice people

Lovely place and beer garden is great, but, paying nearly £16 for a pint of Estrella and a large White Zinfandel wine is much too pricey, in my opinion.

Excellent home made food. We had the Steak & Ale pie & Beef Madras Curry. The quality of the beef in both dishes was excellent. Very friendly, welcoming staff.

Can't fault the food, price or service! Have visited several times since we moved to the area, Mary and her team are very attentive and friendly.

Dropped in for a late lunch yesterday afternoon on the motorbikes, sat outside by the river. Excellent food and service. We will be back.

Excellent place well worth a visit

Would not visit again. Good location, but little else to commend. Tables 33 / 34 so close together that the people behind us asked to be moved. The meat in my steak and Stilton sandwich was inedible. Far too thick and wrong cut of meat.

We came to the Bridge Inn for my daughter’s 18th. She wanted to celebrate in a lovely pub, in pretty surroundings - the Bridge is 100% what she imagined. The staff were so lovely and attentive. The food was amazing and service very quick. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back again! Thank you!

We’ve not been in for a couple of months due to ill health and holidays. As always we received a warm welcome, first class, friendly service and our relative, who was visiting for the first time, thought it was a lovely experience from start to finish.

First time here, we were met with a very warm and welcoming landlord, landlady and bar staff. It’s a very nice pub inside, clean and tidy with a very nice atmosphere and great beer garden. Stayed for food which was excellent. Family and dog friendly without feeling in anyway like a chain pub. Looking forward to coming back.

Mary is always so warm and friendly, nothing is too much. She makes us (and the children and dogs) feel so welcome. The setting is also lovely and we all really enjoyed our food and drinks.

The Sunday dinner was one of the best I have ever had. The staff are incredibly friendly and provided a wonderful service. Honestly there's not a single thing that could have made it any better. I'll absolutely be back soon.

I did write a review at the time but not sure it’s not on here. However from booking To dining excellent service from Mary and Darren and staff on the day. Party of 15 excellent service and delicious food. My Uncle thoroughly enjoyed his 80th. So much choice on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble and you looked after us very well, Thank you . Will see you again very soon.most of us had Beef Sunday lunch which i recommend&the melting chocolate dome is delicious 😋.

Can’t find any faults , seating was quick, service was very good, very pleasant staff, food was good.

As always the food was served fresh and hot, and was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't hurry you, which is something I look for when eating out. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which reflects on the fact we have visited 4 times in the recent weeks.

Great pub with lovely riverside seating. The food wasn’t the best, even for a “ding” meal as I had steak that was tough and had sinew type along the edge that should have been removed before cooking.

The best Sunday roast!!! Really good food and generous portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We have been here a few times now and never had a bad experience it’s always great food and staff. Great atmosphere outside in the beer garden with the music playing too!!

Worst meal I've had for a long time. Gammon was full of fat and grissel. Tomato was uncooked,and pineapple ring was straight out of a tin and cold. Not a pleasant experience at all
